By Anya Heart
This July 31th, day of the eighteenth birthday of Harry James Potter, will takes place a ball at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to commemorate the victory of the Chosen One against the Dark Wizard know as Lord Voldemort.
Before the ball, a ceremony will takes place where six young wizards and witches, who had an active role during the war and the downfall of the Death Eaters and their so-called Dark Lord, will each receive an Order of Merlin, First Class.
The eight wizards and witches are the following:
-Harry James Potter: For continuing the fight without losing one once of hope and for putting an end to the war by defeating Voldemort

Draco was bored. After listening to the dimwitted bickering of Crabbe and Goyle all morning, he considered turning them into something spineless and slimy in order to silence them. They were great for backup in a confrontation, but as conversationalists they left much to be desired. Rather than hex them, he yelled at them to bugger off for the afternoon and stalked off to be alone. Hogwarts was rife with places for solitary reflection, but today most of the prime spots were taken, largely due to the dreadful pouring rain outside.
The dungeon was even darker and gloomier than usual and Draco was already in a bad mood, so he took to the ever-changing stairs and headed for higher climes. A half hour of aimless wandering led him to a long, deserted corridor lined with huge gothic windows. He peered out of one and discovered a marvelous view of the lake, or it would have been if he could have seen more than a quarter of it due to the misty rain. Water poured

Setting: At a banquet for the Hogwarts students and their parents at a fancy, wizard-run restaraunt. The Wealseys and Malfoys are stuck together at the same table.
Scorpius almost wished she hadn't sat directly next to him. It was so hard to keep his hands still on the table, to keep his eyes on his menu. He could feel her fingers brush against his thigh, gooseflesh appearing where ever she touched him. It was so very hard not to look at her, not to smirk at her, or lean over to whisper some secret thought in her ear. He'd gotten so used to grabbing her around the waist anytime he wanted at Hogwarts, whirling her around and kissing her full on the mouth in front of everyone. Now he couldn't even acknowledge her presence without risking the wrath of his father or hers.
They hadn't even ordered yet and the frustration was killing him. He hadn't seen her all summer and he was dying to
Star-Crossed Lovers.1A girl sighed as she sat down in her usual chair in the Library, she was wearing her black knee length skirt, her red Gryffindoor jumper, her white puffy shirt sleeves stuck out from the jumper and then Gryffindoor tie sat on her chest. Her blue eyes were barely visible through the bangs of gingery brown hair that she'd inherited from both her mother and father. For once her long frizzy hair wasn't untidy, it laid in a long eligant plat down to the smalls of her back.Star-Crossed Lovers.16 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
He was looking at her yet again. That Malfoy with the blonde hair and stunning blue eyes that she couldn't help but love, she used to call him a friend. He'd changed so much over the bonding day with his father. How many times had they argued about this now? Fifteen times? Maybe more. She'd lost count. It always started off with the same thing and Rose Weasley sighed as She heard his agrivated sigh and heard his chair pull in next to her. His green and silver tie lay on his chest covered with his emerald green Slytherin j

As the small family stepped up to the front door, Victoire tugged on the hem of her dress. Her stomach was all tangled up into knots like it usually did when she went to family events like this. She let out a little huff and she bit her lip.
"Victoire. Stop fussing" Her mother said in her French accent and she swatted Victoire's hand away. "You look beautiful"
"You're supposed to say that. You're my mother" Victoire muttered under her breath, but her mother didn't hear her as she was now trying to help her husband seperate their other two children, who were bickering. To Victoire, it sounded like her youngest brother, Louis, had been tugging on her younger sister, Dominique's, hair.
"I didn't do anything!" Louis said, obviously trying to hold back his laughter. He reached over when Dom wasn't looking and tu

They started to try and shove their bags into the luggage compartment above the seats but found that they were both too short. "Makes you wish we had James huh?" Albus asked as they shoved their trunks onto the opposite seat before flopping down on the other bench.
"No, James would just tell us stories that would make us do something really embarrassing. I guess we could always shove him out for the dementors to catch." The redheaded girl replied to her cousin, both nodded in agreement. Silently they watched as the countryside zoomed by out of the window, think
Dramione: Falling In Love At A Coffee ShopEvery Friday morning, Hermione Granger would stop at the local muggle coffee shop before heading off to her job at the ministry. It was a ritual of hers. She would go in, get her usual, strong black coffee with just a touch of cream, and then she'd sit in the overstuffed armchair in the corner and read. She'd arrive at the coffee shop around 8 o'clock and stay for about an hour, at which time she'd find a nice empty alley to apparate to the Ministry in. Every Friday like clockwork this occurred.Dramione: Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop3 years ago in Romance More Like This
However, Hermione wasn't the only ministry employee that enjoyed that particular coffee shop. Draco Malfoy, who worked with Hermione in the Department of International Magical Cooperation, also visited that coffee shop on a regular basis. He usually sat in the overstuffed armchair near hers. At first, he had done this just to annoy her. But then gradually they started having civil conversations with each other on occasion. Civil lead to friendly, sometimes even flirtatious.

The feast finished with much moaning and belly-rubbing as the tired students staggered off to bed. Albus could hear his cousin, Victoire, at the Ravenclaw table, ushering first years to their prefects and lining them up so they wouldnt get lost. She was Head Girl, of course, as was to be expected of perfect Victoire. He thought about what James had said, about seeing Teddy snogging Victoire. It would be nice if Teddy could finally join their family for real! He smiled as he and Rose stood, stretching their cramped legs and looking around for where the cry of, First years, over here! had come.
A sandy-haired, fifth year girl smiled at them as they made their tentative approach. Is that all of you? she asked, scanning over them with an eagle-eye. She seemed satisfied because she said, Follow us, motioning to the dark-haired boy beside her and they led the way out of the Great Hall.

It was a quiet, sunny day at Hogwarts, just before exams. The hallways were thick with nervous tension as the students shuffled quickly from their last class to their Common Rooms to study.
Suddenly, the silent tension was broken with what sounded vaguely like a war cry.
"OUT OF MY WAY!" shouted a boy's voice, and the students pressed themselves against the walls.
Many eyes narrowed and widened, and quite a few jaws dropped open. For through the path ran a black-haired boy with a girl upon his back, her bushy brown hair flying behind.
The girl was slightly pink in the face, but still laughed and yelled, "Onwards!"
The boy neighed and they soon passed, leaving the halls silent with awe.
Colin Creevey began to clap vigorously. Slowly, and with a touch of uncertainty, the others joined in. They all had the same question in mind:
Did Harry Potter (the Chosen One?!) just run down the halls with Hermione Granger upon his back?
"Yeah, Chosen One!" George an
NaturalThe gaggle of giggling school girls never ceased to provide both annoyance and amusement to Viktor Krum. As many times as he would kindly ask for them to please give him a moment of peace, they would find his brushing off all the more alluring. They murmured among themselves that it gave him the romantic character of a loner. Hearing that made Krum have to swallow a chuckle. How could a team player like him be that way? There did come times, however, when he wished he was that self-absorbed. It would make it easier to deal with the loneliness. It was hard to find real friends when someone could make a few quick Sickles by publishing secrets of his private life in the tabloids.Natural4 years ago in Romance More Like This
Sunlight poured down on the courtyard he was making his way across, brightly shining on the frost-covered grass, and casting spindly shadows on the ground from the trees' bare branches. His name was accompanied by a raucous laugh Albus knew well to be James. He whipped around and saw his brother running towards him, Rose and Victoire in tow.
Albus smiled to see his cousin Victoire; she was probably the prettiest person hed ever seen, even prettier than her mother. She had long, almost waist-length strawberry blond hair and eternally rosy cheeks. She had a Ravenclaw scarf wrapped tightly about her neck.
Rose had one hand on her hip and exploded, How could you be hanging out with a Malfoy? Have you gone insane?
I think your fathers brainwashing has gone too far, Rosie. Albus looked solemn. And not too loud hes not too far ahead of us.
James chuckled. Well, little bro, I dont care who you hang out with personally, but keep an eye out for those thestrals. I cant be seen with first years so I cant stick around and beat them off for you. Albus

Tonight was the night of the annual Halloween ball held at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All of the students had been looking forward to this night since before the school year even began. They had carefully selected the costumes they wanted to wear for the occasion. The only requirement for the ball was that everyone had to be masked. Some of the students wanted to go the extra mile and use glamor charms on themselves so they wouldn't be easily recognized.
That's exactly what he did that night. As he looked into the mirror in his room, Draco Malfoy charmed his usually blonde hair to be a dark, chocolate brown. He almost didn't recognize himself. He had chosen to wear a 'Phantom of the Opera' inspired costume.
After Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter and his father was locked away in Azkaban, Draco and his mother finally got to enjoy life. One day, they had decided to journey into muggle London and a whole new world was opened up to Draco. Watching

Slowly, she turned around and found that Draco Malfoy was standing in the passage, calling to her. His white-blond hair was slicked back, making his grey eyes prominent under his light eyebrows. Hermione's hand dove into her robes on instinct, but then realised that there was something different about the boy. It was not because he was not flanked by his cronies, Crabbe and Goyle. Or that his wand was still in his pocket. Or even the fact that he did not call her Mubloo

Lily always cried.
As hard as she tried not to, seeing the looks on the faces of her parents, teachers, friends, was too much for her poor heart to handle. Lily never cried. Not when a bludger broke her arm, not when Collin Finnigan dumped her for Bianca Spinnet, not even when Crookshanks ate her beloved pygmy puff, Stella. But on this one night of the year, those hot, treacherous tears came spilling out.
It made her feel weak.
It was early in the morning-so early that even the paintings were asleep-when Lily snuck out of the Gryffindor common room, broom in hand. The quidditch pitch called to her, empty and tempting. She dashed out the front door, down the sloping hill, until she reached the long stretch of grass, and even longer stretch of s
The Proposal's'The first time that Draco Malfoy attempted to propose, he planned it well in advance, getting tickets to see my favorite band. He expected me to come home at the normal time only to be disappointed as the seconds ticked by. The second time Draco Malfoy tried to propose, he snuck out of bed in the early morning hours to write the all important words in giant glowing chalk. As he collapsed back into bed, he fell instantly asleep, not to move until at half past six when there was the sound of thunder and a downpour of rain as the heavens split, washing his message away instantly. He sat bolt upright at the sound and leaped to the window sill, staring in horror as the words melted away. I made a soft grumbling

Ron and Harry had fled the compartment when she had triumphantly shown them the title of first chapter in her book: Don't Think You Will Get Anywhere Without Studying. George and Fred pointed to one piece after another giving short murmered comments, after which Lee would pick it up and examine it closely. It was late the next morning when Rose awoke from her sleepy state. She hadnt slept well at all that night, because she was very apprehensive that Andrew might return to the common room. It worried her that he had gotten into the castle so easily, without anyone noticing him. But the strangest part was that he had known the password to get into Gryffindor common room. Did he have someone working for him inside the tower, at this very moment? Rose shrugged off these thoughts and slouched off to the bathrooms so she could take a shower. Twenty minutes later, she returned to her room, fully dressed and clean. She was surprised to see Arianna sitting on her bed, talking to Roxy. Hey Ari, shouldnt you be in your room? Rose inquired as she towel dried her hair. Hello Rose, and yes I should but we were just discussing last night Arianna replied. Roxy picked up where she had left off. About how weird it was that

Rose didnt know how long shed been sitting under the tree for; all she knew was that she didnt want to run into anyone she knew. She got up and started to run towards the castle. Through the doors and up the stairs, she ran until she was breathless. As she slowed her pace to more of a skip, she noticed James. Thinking that he hadnt seen her, she continued down the hall and turned left. Suddenly she heard footsteps behind her. James had run after her and caught up. What happened between you and Al? he asked, slightly breathless himself. I saw him come back a while ago, and he looked pissed off, and upset. Like he was going to cry, or something. Rose looked up, and straight into James eyes. James, I dont know what happened. He asked me why I liked Scorpius, and I told him the honest truth, like how I might be in love with him. Then he just got up and ran back to the castle. She said sadly.
