Woohoo I'm so happy to have finally found Nala and baby Kiara!
I now own the whole set :D
Nala has velcro under her chin so baby Kiara can be attached to her.
These are quite small plushes and the last listing of the whole set I've seen when up to over 150$! Which I believe is way too much considering their size!

I thought I'd take a picture of the lot to show the size differences.

You can easily see how the one from Singapore is a lot smaller and fuzzier than the others and how Scar is slightly bigger.
I personnally think they could've done a better job with Nala, but oh well :P

This is my Lion King Plush Collection in 2012. A few Lions are missing, but I will take a photo of the others too. I like the little one in the middle with the big head, he plays music, if the tail is pulled.

Boom baby!!! [cit.] :la:
A while ago I promised you a big surprise... Here we go!
This is so far the most valuable figure in my whole collection. In December I spotted on ebay a lot of Mattel prototypes that looked quite cheaply made, nothing special, but in the middle of all that common stuff I saw the light: this beautiful Mufasa prototype!
(The seller probably worked for Mattel or had a contact in the society 'cause he had many more Mattel stuff listed)

Edit: After two weeks of constant raining and bad light, I was finally able to take a better pic in the sunlight!!! :la:

This is the coolest figure ever!! You can probably see how beautifully detailed he is... He is holding a very accurate little Simba too! :meow:
The incredible thing about this Mufasa is that it was never mass produced! Can you believe it?!
This is a prototype that was handmade and hand-painted by Mattel artists back in 1994, as a sample for the sets of pvc figures they were making, but for some reason he didn't make it to the mass production, being later replaced with the lying Mufasa (the one with Simba on his back) and with the sleeping Mufasa (the one with baby Simba on his belly).

Being a prototype, I absolutely don't know how many of these figures exist, this could even be the only one! (Some may have been destroyed or damaged like this)
Too bad that the tip of his tail and a paw are broken... At the beginning I thought of repairing it but he looks in pretty good conditions overall and I like him the way he is. I may consider making a mould but I'm not an expert with big moulds so it won't be soon anyway! ^^"
Come on, look at him!!! I'm so excited to finally have him in my paws!! :dummy:

He is made of resin, hand painted with acrylics; he's as long as the regular Mattel Sarabi (just in case you wanted to know XD), perhaps just a little bigger!
He has a piece of paper attached to his belly, you can see it here:
imageshack.com/a/img802/3504/m…
I can read:
"**** Lion King Collectible - **** Hand Sample For Licensing Approval"
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DIDN'T PRODUCE HIM!!! He's such a beauty!!! And I can't believe that I have him!!! :dummy:
I'll upload some other pictures of him soon! :meow: Hope you like him, 'cause I DOOO!!
