With the Reapers destroyed and peace all around the galaxy Shepard and Ashley finally get to spend a night together without worrying about a mission to carry out the next day.

For the most observant, yes that's a ring on Ashley's hand: Shepard came up with a marriage proposal and Ash was quick to accept (see my earlier "Proposal" picture [link]).

(And with this one it's time to take a little break from Ash and Shepard... Next stop: ladies of Dragon Age! )

Introductory remark: I'm no artist and this work was done simply by posing the character models in XNALara followed by editing with Paint.NET. For all credits see below.

Not long after I completed my first playthrough of Mass Effect 3 I came across this work [link] from fellow deviant ~alireya and totally shared her need to create "some proof that Shepard was found after all and everything went well". So, here is my try at this.

The background for this picture is that the Reapers have been "DESTROYed" and the Normandy has been able to get back to Earth from the uncharted planet just in time to assist the recovery teams in rescuing a wounded Shepard from the Citadel. After some time, Shepard has recovered from his injuries, massive repairs have been undergoing everywhere in the Galaxy including the Citadel.

For the re-opening night of the Flux on the Citadel, the volus owner Doran declared that Commander Shepard and his partner Lieutenant Williams would always get free drinks at the Flux. Shepard and Ashley took the chance to spend a night there to celebrate and had this picture taken.

With the Reapers destroyed and peace all around the galaxy Shepard and Ashley finally had the chance to take some time to visit Ashley's home on Amaterasu and get married! Ideally, this follows Shepard's marriage proposal depicted here [link].

BTW, I know the lights in this pic suck, but I was bored by too many attempts at improving them and the sheer amount of time spent on this pic, so I'm afraid you'll have to live with that...

I love all male shep's romance options but I'm most fond of Ashley and her character. I totally see them having a laid back post ME3 romance.

As much as I love Kaidan, Ashley gets a lot of love from me too. Some find her very annoying and a frustrating character (I guess Kaidan as well), but I find both of them to be very realistic and human... Ashley especially. She has strengths and weaknesses like everyone else and I love her for them.
