They helped me feel alright
They helped me to think positive
They helped me see the light.
Thank you for your help
I won't listen to what they say
Just like you said to me,
What do they know anyway?
Thank you for being there,
Thanks to you, maybe I won't flip,
I'll remember your kind words instead,
Thank you for your friendship.

Emmett lead Juno through the night. People passed by and barely noticed the two of them. Emmett lead her further from the city and into a park near the carnival, he would check back from time to time to see that she was still following. The only light now visible was from the lamp lights and the moon above. Emmett could tell that Juno was nervous…and that she was skeptical. He couldn’t help but be a little understanding…but he had no intention of harming her. In fact, he was excited for her. He knew she would love what he had to show her.
"Whenever I want to get away from home for a while," He suddenly said, "I like to come to this park and spend the night here."
"Where around here?" Juno asked. "You just walk around a park all night?" Emmet laughed and shook his head.
"Of course not...that's silly." He laughed, continuing walking past the trees and park benches. "There is actually a place here that no one knows about."
"And what makes you say that?
Decay Along the Beaten PathDecay Along the Beaten Path3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The time carries on, by and by
languid, lethargic, and seemingly lacking...
No rest for the working man,
has made my limbs weak and brittle.
No push lies against my back,
no pull of my feet along the given path.
Mr. Sandman, repay me my memory in full.
This lack of alleviation makes me to be some sort of fool.
A heart so torn as to my mind, many lacerations...
Though the scars are back home,
where left I, my soul.
Hindered, the mindless drone before you,
as I understand not even my own actions.
Be this change or some phase,
I wish it to end,
as I grow weary of this
over sized bump in the road.
Forever may it be my faith
allows me some peace...
For as of right now...
It is the "what if?" that keeps me moving...

Ever present in the shadows of your mind, quietly waiting
Never quite knowing when it will take hold again
Learning the 'triggers' of such a chain of events, is crucial
The tormented individual believes it's just a case of 'the blues'
Days turn into weeks and you know something isn't right
The disorder is typically seen as laughable, ignored by many
Viewed as 'low grade', it gets little attention from the forum
The tears and the agony tell us a different story
The loss of interest and lethargy linger daily, grinding onward
Dragging yourself from one day to the next, is a feeling of condemnation
The anguish is as physical as it is a mental state
It hurts to laugh and smile, it hurts to cry out or sing

I've watched someone's
That last sigh of life,
The submissive gasp
Of a body's strife.
I have smelt decay;
I've sensed someone's
That stench of loss,
That everyone has to
I have heard screams;
I've witnessed someone's
That grief of hope,
Around a throat
Like a hangman's rope.
I have touched despair;
I've felt someone's
That empty shell,
Telling me to go and
Rot in hell.
Myth: The Creation of the Gods and WorldMyth: The Creation of the Gods and World3 years ago in Sketches More Like This
In the beginning, there was only light and darkness. Swathes of light here, darkness there, but that was all there was.
The light was named Teran. The darkness, Uril.
They lived together in harmony for what seemed like eternity, but at the same time a single blink of an eye. It was never chaotic, but it wasn't peaceful, either, and the two were somewhat distressed, searching for the reason why and how to cure it.
Eventually, Teran was the one who came up with the solution: She and Uril were simply too different. Teran had not a particle of darkness in her, while Uril not an inch of light. The two opposites could live together, but could never be completely at rest. They had to be separated.
Uril mourned, not wanting Teran to leave him, for he loved her so. Uril's was a lonely existence, cold, friendless, and wanting. He so badly needed Teran to balance it out. Even darkness loves the light. But after all his pleading and begging, Uril could not deny the truth. Darkness and light could

"They're always trying to hide."
"What do you mean by 'hide'?"
"You smell that?"
"Yea. Smells clean."
"I hate that smell."
"It's too clean. It's like they're trying to hide the fact that people die here."
"Well that's morbid..."
"It's the truth."
"Would you rather it smell like germs and corpses?"
"No. But that's not the point."
"What is your point?"
"It's all just too... pleasant."
"Well yea. Hospitals are meant to help people. They're supposed to be pleasant."
"...You've never had a love one die, have you?"
"No one should have to sit and watch the world spin on as if the person they love never existed."

I can feel the warmth of your breath
is it real or just in my mind ?
are you here or am I blind ?
So I whisper into the dark:
Are you here ?
I have something to tell you
so listen what you´ll hear
All this time that i have known you
i admired and loved you
but you never seemed to see
feelings inside of me
You just smiled and disappeard
did you her my secret ?
no you were just a dream
I will tell you when you´re real

do you remember?
A time before winter
and trains that take the people
away from home.
Do you remember the time beofre you flew away?
Do you remember the summer?
it was the time of sparrow song,
it was something to hold on too.
do you remember those days?
When the snow falls,
on your obsidian feathers,
do you wish you had never flown away?
you made many mistakes,
you have many regrets.
Do your memories just blur together?
Or does each day stand alone,
please come home.

That you were all that really meant to me.
Keep the faquade going.
Live another lie.
Who's going to notice
If I live or if I die.
Ill smile and lie...
If thats what it takes.
I'll bend and watch you break.
Just to keep my sanity.
Slowly dripping out my eyes.
Oozing. Bleeding. Crying.
Such pain was not meant to be felt.
But who am I to complain if I inflict upon myself?
You were everything.
We were perfect.
You hurt me...
I was foolish and put trust into you again.
You tricked me.
Your sweet soft blue eyes lied again</i>
I let you into my heart
Just so you could tear me apart.
From the inside out.
Oh, and what did I do?
I Lied too.
'Over you,' I whispered.
Cruel and cold.
Decieving and lying.
Anything but what I was told.
But now Im stuck.
Shit out of fucking luck.
Still loving you.
You loving me.
Being pulled in again....

On a fine perfect day, Cecily, the brunette cutie was hungry. Her tummy made a low growl indicating her to have something inside her or else it will be grumpy all day. Cecily giggled, rubbed and patted her flat tummy.
"My belly is hungry," Cecily smiled as she walked into her kitchen. "I must feed my belly something good."
Cecily felt lazy about cooking manually. Instead, she pulled out a feeder machine hidden in her closet and plugged it in.
"Let's get this filling on the road!" she cried and inserted the hose into her mouth and sat on a delicate wooden chair.
She turned on the feeding machine as the motor made some loud whirring noises of sending the food from the tank to her belly. The processed food flowed right into her belly as her belly expanded larger in result of her dress stretching out. Cecily closed her eyes and clapped like a little kid as her body continued to gr

you'll always end up
with an incomplete picture.

My eyes hold back heavy tears
I fall and trip when you're far ahead
I call your name though my heart aches
I run, and run, though my feet get tired
I live for you
I listen for the wind to rush by
I cry in my sleep, in my dreams
At night I feel like screaming
The loneliness kills me
Almost every time
Reality has no worth to me
Unless I'm with you
I long for your embrace
For your touch
For your kiss
When you have the choice to run
I want you to stay
How could I end up in this position
Getting you is my only ambition

That run down my porcelain frame
Our vanity is as thin as glass
We're shiny like window panes
Don't mind the markings
The grooves my tears form
No matter how broken I feel
I show flawless and reform
Don't mind the sorrow
For it won't be there tonight
It'll be held tight under lace
Tied away in bows; out of sight
We'll drink our midnight tea
Another gulp to forget my woes
I won't mind the words
That are thrown by loving foes
Don't mind me when I break
For I can't hold my frame
Its just another move

Why Do You Weep? Why Do You Weep?5 years ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This
Why do you weep?
Those tears are not good enough to crown you.
Are you still asleep?
That sleep may be good enough to drown you.
A little smile may seem to be cheep,
Yet often that smile is good enough to cheer you.
Let's forget all the pain,
Focus on what to gain,
Weather its sun or the rain,
Let's try it once again.
It is hard to succeed,
But a try is what you need,
May be you shall bleed,
Still you may succeed.
So let's rise from the ashes,
Get engaged in the clashes.
Ignore all the bashes,
Let's do what your heart wishes.
If your path is true and right,
Then fight with all the might,
At the end of the night,
The light shall shine bright.

Silent EndI feel as though I'm emptySilent End4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
There's nothing left
Weights have not lifted, cracks have not mended
The pulsing has not become a strong survivor.
My world is made of glass
Bits have fallen, broken
The red skies above echo the spilling below
Unstable silence reigns
No more gunshots, no more laughter either
The glass takes a breath.
The standstill is eerie, nothing moving
Nothing happening or changing
Though change is rife here
It's had to be.
Supplies are running out
I'm running on empty
Worry sets in
About the future, about others
And all I can do is wonder
Why I didn't die
When the end of the world came.
