Isla del Sol
smoke on the petal of a rose- isla del sol
the island of the sun.
in the eyes of a small bird
reflection of a burning ember.
the rose is beautiful with it's stains
& discoloration- the brown scars
in the pink delicate flesh.
the bird is precious with it's tattered feathers
& tiny voice chirping in the soundscape of waves.
in the grand scheme of the earth,
the mosquito eater has a wingspan
it's presence is noted. it's vibrations felt.
a bundle of clouds that never end-
Siempre en la distancia. alway

October...
the 22nd day, yeah
I will never forget...
Oh yeah yeah yeah..
The clouds were placed perfectly
and the trees, swayed so majestically
October...
22nd day.
oh...
I still remember
as if it were yesterday, oh yeah
The red leaves, the pond was dashed with green
Come back to me
My memories are still crisp and clean
One day, I want to return
to that place, and escape.
Be at peace, and be reborn.
Find that bridge, be on the ledge.
I want to return, one day, someday
Maybe one day...

Quick be thy search.
Thy results come, thy buffer be done,
On Bing as it is in Chrome.
Give us this day our daily updates
And forgive us our spelling
As we forgive those who butcher English grammar.
And lead us not into Apple,
But deliver us from Siri.
For thine is the Wi-fi, the processor, and the android forever.
Amen.

The Waves
'You're doing it again.'
Liara stood watching the cold rain fall hard against the glass, the world behind the silent drops heavy and grey; beyond that just clear sky, the taut blue quality a reminder of the still morning with its retained essence of hardness. A confidence in the warm light that burst through the dark clouds in smoky arcs and bright tracers, the sun piercing the corners and distant edges of a storm that didn't quite reach the severity of its name. She watched the dream-lit contrails that streaked cleanly in the high, distant sky.
Her mother hadn't replied or didn't hear, so she said it again, this time a little lo

My fragile mind regressed
Into something I do not want to kiss
I wish I could repair what disgraced
My inner peace, caught in turmoil
No sanctum to hold one's reality true
Spinning out of control
Representation of chaotic inner forms
I am but in a form of involuntary motion
I cannot hide my pride's depressive thorns
There is no hope for when He who is Night is home
Near my limitless steps, of mind, that is
Shake me, break me, make me
Spin out of the usual patterns
Cannot grasp the me you are taking
I stand alone in my darkest fault's lantern
To guide my path all through the Dark
A veil upon my mind to take

Be it good or evil, my feelings here are always satisfyingly greedy
Be it at expense of others or no one, my feelings here are always amusingly resonantly warm
Be it intentional or not, my feelings here always heed to the lack of fear thereof
Amongst these feelings I call on; happiness impersonated

Outside, it is raining.
The downpour started an hour ago, like a bucket suddenly turned over in space and sent water crashing down. The streets are flooded, the sidewalks: drenched. Flowerpots that hung on balconies find their roses and petunias and tulips and ivy all drooping down low, with petals and leaves falling beaten to the streets below to be trampled underfoot by the hurrying crowd.
Even in the rain, the city continues to bustle and beat to its own rhythm, despite th

Some lives are only known half-way. Mine is one of them, so for you to fully understand, I must tell you the story of those around me. What I'm about to narrate to you is nothing but the truth, a truth based on my own observations and those of my Veiled Canary…I mean…my secret informant. Don't worry; you'll meet him later.
But going back to the topic in hand, I must say I've known them long before they knew me. Curiosity and my own secret goal have always pushed me towards my kind, and here I found two most unique samples. Love and wonder for the unknown forced me to follow them indefinitely

The house of many ways
Mirrors and truths unseen
You wander here anyway
Unscathed
Still beautiful and serene
A heart wrenched from its casing
Stuck in stone
Stay in my head
Dance as we once danced
Laugh and love
As if it was always thus
Love's magical serenade
A symphony of soul sweetness
Please
Stay in my head
I beg of you
And never leave again.

It fell and fell and fell
I'd been out in the sun too long
And the rain caged me in hell.
I looked among the flowers, so tall
For a friend, the numbers thin
The liars and the leavers showed
My strength was found within.
The flowers bloomed, the seasons changed
And the weather turned sunny and dry
I gathered strength, a couple of friends
And with you, once more, I'll fly.

Younger ears
Fumbling for the truth in the dark
Rubbing out the wrongs, etching out the lies
Corrections, omissions
Tailored tales for the mind's eye

Ever growing, never changing
Display of the darkness

A belonging of the masses

Shiny, cold and flat
His belle, his rose
Resplendent, stupendous
Beauty of no bounds
Beheld by all around,
The one to watch
Held her in sight
The one who watched her
Day and night
He saw her off,
Lips tickled a kiss
He waited, happy, unaware
Of the events unfolding,
Beauty claimed by the night
Offering from the one
And now he sits at home
Tears rolling, cold in the crisp air
A crimson memory tugging at his heart
Holding her face in his hands,
Shiny, cold and flat,
This is all he has now,
A smile in a photograph.

Twisting, turning, changing
Run, run

There's no air to breathe now
Run, run
No thoughts in your mind now
Nowhere to run.

Thanks to you, maybe I won't flip,
I'll remember your kind words instead,
Thank you for your friendship.

On a fine perfect day, Cecily, the brunette cutie was hungry. Her tummy made a low growl indicating her to have something inside her or else it will be grumpy all day. Cecily giggled, rubbed and patted her flat tummy.
"My belly is hungry," Cecily smiled as she walked into her kitchen. "I must feed my belly something good."
Cecily felt lazy about cooking manually. Instead, she pulled out a feeder machine hidden in her closet and plugged it in.
"Let's get this filling on the road!" she cried and inserted the hose into her mouth and sat on a de

Perhaps the Sun shimmers

Are her eyes watching?
Are they waiting?

She's nothing.
Invisible.
Until the obscurity falls,
and the mask breaks.
Then she is real.
