A Thank YouThank you for your wordsA Thank You8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
They helped me feel alright
They helped me to think positive
They helped me see the light.
Thank you for your help
I won't listen to what they say
Just like you said to me,
What do they know anyway?
Thank you for being there,
Thanks to you, maybe I won't flip,
I'll remember your kind words instead,
Thank you for your friendship.

Ever present in the shadows of your mind, quietly waiting
Never quite knowing when it will take hold again
Learning the 'triggers' of such a chain of events, is crucial
The tormented individual believes it's just a case of 'the blues'
Days turn into weeks and you know something isn't right
The disorder is typically seen as laughable, ignored by many
Viewed as 'low grade', it gets little attention from the forum
The tears and the agony tell us a different story
The loss of interest and lethargy linger daily, grinding onward
Dragging yourself from one day to the next, is a feeling of condemnation
The anguish is as physical as it is a mental state
It hurts to laugh and smile, it hurts to cry out or sing

do you remember?
A time before winter
and trains that take the people
away from home.
Do you remember the time beofre you flew away?
Do you remember the summer?
it was the time of sparrow song,
it was something to hold on too.
do you remember those days?
When the snow falls,
on your obsidian feathers,
do you wish you had never flown away?
you made many mistakes,
you have many regrets.
Do your memories just blur together?
Or does each day stand alone,
please come home.

That you were all that really meant to me.
Keep the faquade going.
Live another lie.
Who's going to notice
If I live or if I die.
Ill smile and lie...
If thats what it takes.
I'll bend and watch you break.
Just to keep my sanity.
Slowly dripping out my eyes.
Oozing. Bleeding. Crying.
Such pain was not meant to be felt.
But who am I to complain if I inflict upon myself?
You were everything.
We were perfect.
You hurt me...
I was foolish and put trust into you again.
You tricked me.
Your sweet soft blue eyes lied again</i>
I let you into my heart
Just so you could tear me apart.
From the inside out.
Oh, and what did I do?
I Lied too.
'Over you,' I whispered.
Cruel and cold.
Decieving and lying.
Anything but what I was told.
But now Im stuck.
Shit out of fucking luck.
Still loving you.
You loving me.
Being pulled in again....

Emmett lead Juno through the night. People passed by and barely noticed the two of them. Emmett lead her further from the city and into a park near the carnival, he would check back from time to time to see that she was still following. The only light now visible was from the lamp lights and the moon above. Emmett could tell that Juno was nervous…and that she was skeptical. He couldn’t help but be a little understanding…but he had no intention of harming her. In fact, he was excited for her. He knew she would love what he had to show her.
"Whenever I want to get away from home for a while," He suddenly said, "I like to come to this park and spend the night here."
"Where around here?" Juno asked. "You just walk around a park all night?" Emmet laughed and shook his head.
"Of course not...that's silly." He laughed, continuing walking past the trees and park benches. "There is actually a place here that no one knows about."
"And what makes you say that?

You are soon to be one of them

I get to see the sun once more!
WaysideThere's safety on the outside.Wayside4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Beauty on the blindside.
Curiousity on the bright side.
Unknowing of the wayside.
Knowing is the downside.
When the beauty's lost to pain,
When love will show it's dark side,
It's innocent disguise will fade.
Inside is a gaping hole,
Sucking every happy thought.
Just inside that big red heart
The guilt and hurt of love is caught.
Searching for the outside.
Wishing for the blindside.
The disbelieving bright side
Stuck in the darkness of the wayside.

That run down my porcelain frame
Our vanity is as thin as glass
We're shiny like window panes
Don't mind the markings
The grooves my tears form
No matter how broken I feel
I show flawless and reform
Don't mind the sorrow
For it won't be there tonight
It'll be held tight under lace
Tied away in bows; out of sight
We'll drink our midnight tea
Another gulp to forget my woes
I won't mind the words
That are thrown by loving foes
Don't mind me when I break
For I can't hold my frame
Its just another move

My eyes hold back heavy tears
I fall and trip when you're far ahead
I call your name though my heart aches
I run, and run, though my feet get tired
I live for you
I listen for the wind to rush by
I cry in my sleep, in my dreams
At night I feel like screaming
The loneliness kills me
Almost every time
Reality has no worth to me
Unless I'm with you
I long for your embrace
For your touch
For your kiss
When you have the choice to run
I want you to stay
How could I end up in this position
Getting you is my only ambition
I'd Rather Be DeadYou're always asking me if I had anything worth dying for.I'd Rather Be Dead1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
I'll pose the opposite to you and ask you this:
"Why is it that you find life to be worth living?"
Is it so interesting to go through each day feeling anxious?
To the point that you feel nauseated enough to collapse.
Is it so joyous to spend each night staring at a blank ceiling,
Hearing the clock tick on toward morning,
And yet you lie awake.
Tired, but awake, emotionless, but awake...
Do you truly get up each day, facing it with optimism.
Or do you look at the news and the state of the world,
And genuinely fear for your safety?
Now, if it were me that you had asked my dear,
I'd tell you quite honestly: That I'd rather be dead.
At least I would not have to hear the white lie inside my head.
That tomorrow will bring me a 'better' day...
But of course, you are welcome to believe that.

On a fine perfect day, Cecily, the brunette cutie was hungry. Her tummy made a low growl indicating her to have something inside her or else it will be grumpy all day. Cecily giggled, rubbed and patted her flat tummy.
"My belly is hungry," Cecily smiled as she walked into her kitchen. "I must feed my belly something good."
Cecily felt lazy about cooking manually. Instead, she pulled out a feeder machine hidden in her closet and plugged it in.
"Let's get this filling on the road!" she cried and inserted the hose into her mouth and sat on a delicate wooden chair.
She turned on the feeding machine as the motor made some loud whirring noises of sending the food from the tank to her belly. The processed food flowed right into her belly as her belly expanded larger in result of her dress stretching out. Cecily closed her eyes and clapped like a little kid as her body continued to gr
Silent DreamsIn the deepest slumber, in the dark of nightSilent Dreams4 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Through my window, gleaming moonlight
While I sleep it's you I see
In silent dreams, you come to me
Kiss my lips, so soft and sweet
Feel my heart begin to beat
Been cold and empty for so long
Now pumping with love so pure and strong
You speak to me in alluring tones
Sends shivers deep down into my bones
Tender words from your lips do part
Singing the melody of my heart
You heal every single wound
Soothe my soul with your heartfelt tune
My angel from the heavens above
Despite our differences, it's you I love
So take my hand and hold it tight
Hold me close all through the night
I have nothing left to fear
As long as I'm with you, my dear

And I could go on cause this is just the start
She may be graceful, caring, and kind
But most of all she is Emily
My ForestMy ForestMy Forest4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
A tangled web of greenery
Fading slowly into red
See the falling scenery
Leaves plummeting, dead
Lie crushed on the ground
Memories of a better day
When hope could be found
Now consumed by my decay
I walk between the trees
Sadness staining the air
Whispers hang in the breeze
Soft words of cold despair
Serenading an unwary ear
This cold sorrow stings
Feelings won't disappear
And the misery it brings
Further in the wood I go
The trees grow more dense
A world draped in shadow
Clouding out every sense
I'm numbed by the pain
Every soft spoken blade
Cutting through me again
All my scars have stayed
My route remains haunted
Stalked by the illusions
Of all I've ever wanted
Only pathetic delusions
It's my dreams you steal
Sleep silenced by beauty
No hope of becoming real
For only in there I see
I find my secluded seat
Hidden far out of view
By a veil of thin defeat
My forlorn dreams of you
Twisted lies in my head
They're tearing me apart
But onward I dare tread
With this wounded heart

Ian woke to the morning sun that was filtering through the cracks in the ceiling. Rubbing his eyes, he felt beside him to make sure it was still there. He sighed, satisfied when his fingers met the warm metal. He picked up the cryotank and hugged it to his chest. "Today is the day, my sweet Wanderer." Last night Melanie, Jared and Jamie had returned with her new body.
"Look at her!" Jamie had said exitedly. "Isn't she perfect? She looks like an Angel, and Wanda is great at that." He beamed with enthusiasm. Glancing at Melanie, Ian could see she was smiling too. After all, he knew he wasn't the only one who would be happy to have her back. Melanie, Doc, Lily, Trudy, Jeb, Jamie, Jared, and her other friends would be happy too; though he was pretty sure Maggie and Sharon wouldn't be included in the mix. Ian though, would be the happiest, althou

because it doesnt matter what you think.
I don't need to be told I'm beautiful
because I know I am and I'm happy.
I don't need to be told I'm beautiful
because restating the obvious is pointless.
You don't need to be told you're beautiful,
because every single one of you is in your own way.
(No matter what anyone says-- you are.)
You don't need to be told you're beautiful,
but it's nice to know sometimes.
So in case you haven't heard it lately...
You are beautiful.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
