Private Minnie wasn't the savviest of shoppers, but even she had to question Mortimer's taste in purchasing this decrepit old house. It looked like something from an old horror movie, with the way the doors creaked, the peeling black paint, and the cobwebs that hung from every corner. She had agreed to come and see the place during a quick break, but as soon as she entered the creepy building she wanted to exit. Privates were not cowards, though, and she forced herself to explore the house while Mortimer talked to the landowner downstairs. She went inside each room and her fright was eased by how dull the exploration was. This building wasn't anything special.
Her curiosity was piqued when she came to a door at the end of a long hallway. This door was decorated with old symbols that she couldn't decipher, and unlike all the other doors, this one was locked. Kicking the door didn't make it budge, so she pulled out her pist

While hardly any day for a pirate is normal, today had gone above and beyond Captain Mickey's usual schedule. The toy fair had been all fun and games, as expected, but things had taken an abrupt turn for the bizarre when he found Minnie in the doll room. He was ready to sneak up behind her and give her a surprise embrace, but the ugliest doll he had ever laid eyes upon him was suddenly behind Minnie, and shoving her into that tacky mirror. As the doll stepped into the mirror to fall her, Mickey raced in to try and aide his sweetheart. He too experienced the illogical existence of that sea of jewels, but unlike Minnie, he hadn't landed directly in the small, poor town.
He had been in the church the entire time, deciding to sleep things off, in the case of the event being a dream. Never had he

Welcome to Halloween Town
Long time passed in great silence, fortunately nothing interrupted the family's travel. In his coffin Zuritan had some really strange dreams. He felt intense heat deep inside of his body, his blood drummed in his ears at a strange rhythm he couldn't describe. He didn't know why, but this rhythm made him angry... and scared at the same time. In the end, the noise was unbearable, and thus caused the boy to awaken with a shout. In the momentum he sat up and knocked his head against the top of his coffin. Zuritan gritted his teeth to force back his tears, sitting in the darkness and rubbing his sore head.
"Ugh, that hurt..." he muttered to himself. He blinked fast, trying to get rid of the colorful dots dancing in front of his eyes. The first thing he noticed was the great silence around him. He didn't hear the wheels rolling or the hooves knocking. He didn't even feel the bounce of the carriage. "Have we arrived?" He raise

It had been one hour since Minnie had been recklessly tossed from the traveling caravan, and she still had no idea where she was or how she got there. The buildings were unfamiliar, the dialect the people spoke in was unfamiliar, the clothes, the scenery, everything was strange and different. She made several guesses as to where she could be perhaps the slums of the Kingdom? Or a different kingdom entirely? She'd never traveled outside of her own kingdom, so it was possible. Yet surely every kingdom had their own versions of the N.A.V.Y. and A.R.M.Y., yet when she tried to ask the humble villagers about them, all she got in return were blank stares.
With the daylight fading fast, Minnie's problems increased. She was getting cold

Though the Captain had many good memories of his mother, the memory that always stood out was the very last time he had seen her. She laid on the floor of their humble home, a stranger's brutal hands on her throat, and her voice becoming shallower with each last scream. The young boy was hidden yet could not force himself to look away from watching the life drain out of her eyes. It had been a slow and agonizing process as he saw every muscle move its last. When the deed was done and the man had left, the boy was no longer a boy, and the imprint of death had so darkly struck him that he had vowed to never see it again, sin

Count Mickey Dragul was restless. He could list several reasons why he couldn't sleep. Winter had come, and so everything was just a bit chillier. One of his fangs might be getting a cavity. He could continue listing them, but none of them would be the real reason why he couldn't relax. It was irksome to admit it, but he knew the reason behind his restlessness was thanks to the beautiful woman that was probably fast asleep only a few doors down. Mickey had only planned on letting Mina stay a day or two, while he made sure the men after her were long gone. Alas, she was impossibly beautiful, impossibly kind, and so Mickey found it impossible to stop thinking about her.
He got up and paced around his room. There had to be a rational reason behind this constant thinking of the maiden. She had been the first living thing this castle had seen in decades, if one didn't count the visits of Doctor Goofy, and even his visits were

The Demon of Bald Mountain
They couldn't believe their eyes. They had hoped nothing wrong would happen and now... a giant beast arose on the great mountain, storm clouds twisting above him. The demon bore his large jaw and snarled furiously, like a mad monster.
"Haha, this is amazing! I though I’d get a 'simple' vampire to use as a weapon, but this is much better!" cackled Dr. Facilier wickedly, grinning at his 'creation'. In his grip Emily shivered in fear. She didn't want to believe her eyes. That her brother was...
The monster deeply inhaled the air and slowly turned his head toward the duo. The girl whimpered and tried to move away, but Facilier held her firmly. The bat made an ominous step forward, preparing to attack.
"You belong to me, Tepes. I am your master, and you will follow my orders!" shouted Facilier, and the doll glowed brighter. The monster groaned and shook his head, trying to rip off the amulet, without success. "Obey me

The Many Lives of Mickey Mouse │ Count Mickey Dragul
Cold little white flakes of snow drifted and flew through the cool night air. It landed softly on the cold, hard ground of the forest. The night was still with frost, and not a sound could be heard. With the exception of the whistling through the bare-naked trees, the forest remained calm and still. The forest seemed at ease. Until the sound of footsteps could be heard crunching through the icy sheet of snow lying on the ground.
Through the brush came a group of misfits, two creatures of night and one of the day. Count Mickey Dragul led Oswald van Helsing and Jack Skellington towards his castle, his legs burning from all the running. The Count was not in a holly jolly mood tonight, despite the fact that it was the night before Christmas. For the occasion, he had dressed up fancy for his wife, Countess Mina Dragul. He wore a green jacket that led onto a green cape with a red inside, a white shirt with long sleeves, gray p

Went the rusty old dragon head knocker on the front of the Dragul door. Oswald van Helsing, hat in his hands, waited impatiently at the base of the Dragul family castle. The Draguls were, by now, considered close family friends, and Oswald would trust the Count with his life. After all, the two had been through so much, like battling the devil on Bald Mountain. By now, the two's destiny were too intertwined with each other's, and neither of them wanted to go back to normal anyhow.
In van Helsing's eyes, normal was too boring.
After waiting what felt like an hour to the impatient bunny, the door finally creaked open a good three feet. Oswald, not even slightly creped out by the self opening doors, stepped through the crack and into the large entrance hall.
As he stepped forward a few feet, the door slammed loud behind him. The rab

Princess Minnie absolutely knew it was love at first sight because she was well-versed in such things. On and on she would tell Daisy about that special moment when their eyes had locked, mental music had swelled, and he had charmed her with all the hidden nobility a commoner could have. But for all the dramatics that played in Minnie's head when their momentous meeting had occurred, it was a slightly different sort of story for Mickey. He was not quite as well-versed as she in the matter of love - it was not something he had ever really given thought to. It was just something that happened to other people.
Still, though, it had definitely been a life-changing moment when he first saw her. But where she had imagined music and choirs and blossoming roses to symbolize a new destiny, his world had gone absolutely silent and still, frozen in time. It was more than that she was the most beautiful person he'd ever seen in his life. He knew something had changed within him,

Grey clouds covered the sky, making the already dark forest more creepy. The snow was fresh and crispy, like really soft blanket or sugar. In the silence something flew across the forest, heading right ahead to the great Dragul Castle.
"Brrrr why we need to go there?" asked an albatross from his tiny passengers "This place just makes me shiver."
"We need to go to the castle Orville. Remember the message" tried to reassure him a white, female mouse.
"Message, message! I just not want to become some wolf snack! Understand it, Miss Bianca" frowned Orville.
"Over there" pointed ahead the third one, a brownish male mouse. Behind some trees they finally noticed the castle. It was so big and so creepy.
"Oookay ladies and gentlemen. Hold on your breakfast, we gonna land there" said Orville and flew much faster, approaching to the wooden entry. Maybe a bit too fast

"Sorry that we ruined your show," Mickey said as he and Oswald rode in the back of Phinegan and Ferb's caravan, pulled by the mighty and strong Perry the Wonder Platypus. The inside of the caravan was painted red, made of wood, and was filled with feathery white chickens. The chickens clucked and gobbled into Oswald's large ears as they spread their feathers out onto the two poor souls in the back. And to make it worse, the road was bumpy, and it was raining outside. The caravan allowed tiny drops of rain to creep through and continually plop down onto their heads. Neither the vampire nor hunter was having any fun.
"Ruined it, you saved it," Ferb said as he steered the marsupial on the road, talking though the window behind him. This had been all he said all night.
"No kidding," Phinegan said as he sat by his brother. It was then Mickey considered that, while the rain was annoying, at

The local town was bustling with excitement that morning, both good and bad.
Good for the baker men, carpenters, and florist who as normal, went about their daily lives selling their products like warm, fluffy pastries or comfy couches and flower arrangements. It was also a good day for the church, since everyone seemed to want to get in.
This was the bad bustling. It was only a few days before what the people liked to call the Rising. The Rising was a day when monsters and sinners would rise from the grave and wreak havoc on the town's folk. They already had to deal with a mischievous vampire; they wanted to make sure their soul was pure in order to avoid the haunting. Some people say the Rising was caused by a heartbroken witch who every Rising time would send the souls of her exboyfriends over so that the villagers would know of her pain. Others say that it would rise to a ma
