Okay, I get asked a lot how much clay I keep around ... I usually just answer "a lot." xD
It's a three part answer, I keep things organized by color on my desk. All browns/tans/blacks/whites are kept on one tray, while all the colors are kept in a plastic bin. All unopened packages of clay are kept stored in a bag, but for this photo I arranged them on the floor. xD
Pardon my mess ... I work in organized chaos. You'll always find clay wrappers tossed over my shoulder. I tidy up at the end of the night when I'm done working. M-Most of the time. <_<
If you want to know how to get a good polymer clay stash, I would say wait for Michael's Arts and Crafts to have it's $0.99 clay sale! It happens a few times a year, and whenever it does I buy about $100+ worth and it usually lasts until the next sale. But some colors I go through super fast, so I do end up paying full price for those sometimes. Also always check the clearance section of Michaels-- sometimes odd colors wind up on sale for around $0.49. I once got a bunch of blue pearl there for only $0.50 a package.
I was debating whether I should put this up or not, but seeing as I do it for all my art tables I get I figured I probably should. It looks like a hot mess, I wish I would have been more prepared layout wise but oh well. It's hard when you have to fly to a con :C
The nice and organized half of the table is 's half! It was so much fun sharing a table with her~♥
