As promised I took photos from a bunch of angles so you can see him pretty much from all angles. These were taken outside on our deck this evening where the light is better. His colors seem to be truer in daylight.
My daughter has helped me find him an Elvish name as well as having helped me with his color scheme. He will be called Ka'lon which means, Dragon chief, and his house name is Gysse'Arnith, which means, Clan of Fire. Thanks honey!
Materials used: Super Sculpy, small Tiger Eye cabochons for his eyes, Copper wire for ornaments, copper chain, glass beads, Blue stone cabochon for his pectoral collar (not sure what kind of stone it is), wooden plaque for mounting, armature wire, aluminum foil for armature to bulk him up. two bolts, washers and screws to mount him to the plaque...acrylic paints.
I also added a clear coat of Krylon Low Odour Clear Matt spray, but I may also add some other clear coat later on. I didn't want the shine to take away from the photo.
Thanks so much for your faves and kind comments. They are always appreciated!
I started this ages ago and then it has been left in my room collecting dust for ages... I finally had a sudden urge to finish it yesterday ;w;
The glass was from a milk pudding I ate ages ago! I thought it would be good to save it for crafting so I washed it and kept it instead of throwing it away. Sometimes I really wonder why they uses such deluxe packing for food and you ended up not wanting to throw the packaging away but never find a proper use for them ._.
Anyways, the glass didn't work well unfortunately x_x As you can see from the photos, the glass were so thick that things look deformed when you put them inside... :<
Espeon parfait - for my Umbreon pokedoll, since it's the perfect size for it.
This one has the same but a bit different - toppings as Oshawott. There's still a pecha berry, some pokeblocks and rare candy sprinkles - but I also added in Espeon's tail in the back and different sprinkle decoration~
------------ Anyways everything down to the sprinkles is handmade from various clays and paint - also no silicone was used for this.
After having not much time lately to work more on Lunas trasformation into a garden statue, I finally made some progress again. The glass-fibre/plaster-polymere combo gets real strong, but I want to wait until her neck it totally hardend before put to much weight on her front hair.
These particular charms have all been sold, but I am always accepting commissions. I can do any pony from the show, or any OC pony. They are $12 each (including shipping to US). Send me a note me f you're interested!
I made a little cell phone charm! He's about the size of a penny, and he was ridiculously tricky to make. All of his teeny tiny legs kept falling off, but after baking and painting and such, he's pretty sturdy!
BTW, I've re-watched the entire series about 4 times since getting home from school. Seriously, nothing else to do at my house right now.
For size reference, here he is next to a penny: [link]
Another ATLA commission (received from another person) this time they request me Aang on his airscooter, at the beginning I had no idea about how to make the air ball but I really liked how it came out!
I originally intended to make a little fat cosplay dragon done as deadpool, but I'd had fun with making the little zombie cthulhu so I decided to make another one while I was at it. I just didn't get around to glazing him right away because glazing is probably the most annoying part of the whole process...so I tend to put it off until I have a pile of things to do and then I just turn on a show and just go nuts with the glazing
