war has been brewingwar has been brewing1 year ago in Profiles More Like This
After a long period of peace it seemed war had been brewing. Some ten years ago the largest family of the lands fell into oblivion when the heads of the family and top generals suddenly fell ill and died within a short period of time. Without their leaders and supporting fighters the herd was doomed. It didn't take long for other families and rogue groups to steal and kill most of the once vast amount of horses which were part of the Nuran. Those who did not die or join other families disappeared from the lands and weren't heard of ever since. And without any sign of the perpetrators the lands fell into complete chaos..
The change of leadership has affected the lands of the Cherry Oak greatly and things have never been the same since the 'great event'. Yet life goes on and the constant struggle of survival continues. The hierarchy is ever changing: some get promoted or start herds of their own and some will be swept from the lands to rot in the barren outlands. Which path you wi

There are always points one can improve on, and you must be proud when you do improve. Sure, your work is admittedly not perfect. But hey, nobody will ever achieve complete perfection. Anyway, your work is only what you think it to be. We all have strong and weak points, and only recognizing them can help us. Yes, the people who so bluntly put their critiques may have been able to word it better and add some helpful tips, but they do do a bit of good, by helping you see them. But don't take it personally. It just means it is an area you may need to improve a bit on. However, still take pride in it. You can be proud of something imperfect, for imperfection is actually what makes things real, and what someone ca

Valemis, the village opposite of the twin's own village of Mortishar, seemed to be unusually quiet this evening. The four friends landed their wyvern just outside the town in hopes that they wouldn't be spotted. "Ok, Kaime, you must keep a watch out and signal us if any of you see anything suspicious. And if any of you hear our signals, run. Understand?" The large silver wyvern blew a calm warm breath letting Prince know that he had understood him. Princess looked at her own wyvern and gently stroked the side of his broad head. "And Neru, I expect you to keep the others safe, I'll signal you if I need you to come be my shield ok?" The young dragon bowed his head and let out a small low rumble. "I know you want to come with us but you're just to big my darling. You must stay here and help the other Wyvern ok?" Neru looked Princess in the eyes and nudged her shoulder, he would stay but he did not like it.

TRIAL & TRIBULATION Growing up a Drakonian is not the easiest thing in the world. Growing up an aristocratic Drakonian is even harder. Prim and Proper. Mind your manners. Remember your etiquette, this is how you bow, this is how you smile, watch your feet, don't slouch! Speak when you're spoken to! That's the king bend your knees! It was never easy to do as she was told. As most youth were she was a rebellious youngster. She wanted nothing more than to strike out and make a life of her own - to enjoy the freedom peasants seemed to have. It wasn't meant to be, however, and she settled for suffering in eternal silence, sighing as little as possible and mastering the art of false pretenses. She learned to project a disgustingly sweet persona for the strangers at court, to permit herself to be courted and politely decline the most ludicrous of invitations. Take a mate? - A mate! Bah! She would rather die a withered up cow than take a mate by her side!
But times were hard. Her parent

I watch the sun dance away from the sky. The snow lies as silent as ever, and only I stand between the white ground and yellow sky...
In this world with so manny people, we all grow only more and more lonely. But as I stand here all alone, my heart feels almost full. I know it's a lie, soon I'll be back to the fast and lonely road, yet this feels so real.
Why did we people create a world like this, only to torture ourself and live a meaningless life? I wish, oh I wish that we could all just go back and chance all that has happened. Chance it to what it was, what it should be. I sometimes wonder if everyone else just keeps walking cause they do not see that it's meaningless? Or do they know, but deny it? It seems as if all those who realize what this really is, end up taking their own lives...
Yet I keep walking hoping it'll some day chance. But how can it ever chance when all those who has power to change it does not even see what we have become.
Oh Dear god... do something, cause

‘It’s been a while’,
Broken by sunlight.
The darkness is gone,
But so is the hope.
‘There was a time’,
‘It’s been a while’,
Nothing is lost,
But everything is,
And will it return?
‘The white dove, it flies high’,
‘It’s been a while’,
Love does not exist.
There is always hope,
There are always dreams,
The white dove, it dies.
There was a place,
Where we met again.

Sometimes i sing
Sometimes i say
The head of the King
Just another day
The sky beneath my feet
I'm running on thin ice
But all that space shit
Again, be a surprise
Once the ship was
With large white sails
All this is sad, of course
But i have to hang the bells
The sky beneath my feet
I'm running on thin ice
But all that space shit
Again, be a surprise
The clouds change color
Grass says goodbye to me
Everything will come tomorrow
Today we must begin

Doctor: *sighs and takes off his glasses to clean them off* well, since it's a cold season of year, his wounds inside of his body got infected *puts his glasses back on and looks at Till with serious eyes* he has to go to surgery again
Till: hm *rubs his neck* but he'll be fine after that?
Doctor: *nods* yes *walks closer to Till and hisses* but after that I don't want to see you here again, understood??
Till: as a doctor you should care about his mental health as well
Doctor: yes, of course I do but he could've died. And what reputations do you think the media would put this hospital in if he died??
Till: then don't blame me for doing it *walks into Richard's room again, sits down and strokes Richard's hair*
Rich: *breathes quietly*
Sch: *leans against the door with a raised eyebrow*

seeing you again.
i acted like nothing mattered,
like i didn't care.
all i could think about was you and me,
and how we used to be.
back then everything was easier,
we joked, and laughed, and teased.
we never would have thought anything would change,
but we never could have seen the way they would.
we were younger, wilder and foolish,
the world was ours and we knew it.
too bad everything changed.
between the months of silence,
the halfhearted calls and texts,
something snapped in both of us.
our will to care maybe,
or maybe it was the love we shared.
the calls stopped, and the texts did too.
and then, just yesterday,
you showed up out of the blue.
standing in the school,
leaning against the lockers,
just like you always had.
it was hard, to keep walking by,
like you weren't even there.
but i had to do it, to spare myself the heartbreak.
your brother's one of my friends now,
and i can't let you get in the way of that.
we get along better now,

that only we ever found funny.

His green eyes turned from the window to me. He looked like he would be convinced from his own words, but how could I be angry at him for all the hope he had in everything? His face had this weird expression, a mix out of secret thoughts and feelings, and I was always dying to know them. With a fluent move, his fingers ran through his hair before he drank some more from his coffee. No matter how much you would know about him, it always felt like there would be hidden parts in his mind.
"It sounds old-fashioned, I know.", he chuckled, but in a way, which took every seriousness a topic could have away.
"No, not really. I just think, not everybody finds it.", I answered.
"You can find it. It's in your own hands."
"What about the people, who die alone?"
"I suppose, they didn't took the chance to change their fate at the right time."
"Wow, that even makes sense to me." His melodic laugh

On Death and Dying. When the doctor gave our family the diagnosis and said "I'm sorry," he really did look sorry. One month, he told us. That's about how long I had to live. Apparently, the cancer had spread to my lungs. It was too far along to be treated, and now all I could do is wait to die. In a way, I was ready to leave the world. sometimes you wonder how big can your emotions be
life has it's tides, the up and the down
and all they do is toss you aroun'
but then you take a look inside of you
and you relize that your not so blue
then you see that everyone loves that your there
sometimes it's just because you care
but then you take a look around
and the world may seem upside down
because the storm's rolled in from over head
and all you feel is pain instead
you weather the storm, the hate and pain,
and the hurt caused by the pounding rain
as the storm subsides, the clouds dissapear and color fills the sky
all your sad feelings go right by
you remember the old saying "you cant have a rainbow without any rain"
as the words relive youe pain
but a sea keeps moving, it keeps going on
and soon all those happy feelings are gone
your back in the deepest part of the sea
it's dark there, no light reaches, there is no glee
and once again you wait out the storm
waiting for everything to be back in the norm
