Early Production Notes:
In the early stages of the series, a title was never decided upon. Digimon Guardians was one possible choice, but was quickly discarded.
The basis of the series was always the same though: each Digimon continuity divided up into 'Zones', a team of DigiDestined/Tamers in charge of protecting them, and Dan, Keely, Tai and Davis were planned to be among the members of the main group.
The original team that would eventually become the Zone Tamers originally consisted of Dan, Betamon, Keely, Wizardmon, Melody, Doggymon, Walker, Hammermon, and Tanaka and Burgermon in addition to Davis, Tai and their Digimon.
