Zim is an alien from planet Irk who was sent to Earth for what he THINKS is a mission to conquer as part as Operation Impending Doom 2. However, he's actually been banished. He's been on Earth for seven long years, and still has no idea that his mission was just an excuse to get rid of him.
He's tried to destroy the Earth more times than he can count, but each time, the troublesome Dib human foiled his plans. Annoyed? Yes. When Zim came to it was completely dark. He could vaguely remember waking up a few other times but had quickly been drugged again before he could get his bearings. Now he had absolutely no idea where he was.
