FULL VIEW FOR BETTER QUALITY! :D

So this was what kept me busy the past few months. MY THESIS haha. basically this was done purely out of thread, beads, sequins, watercolor and poster color on 15"x20" textured board. :)

This is my cover page illustration and is 1 of the 24 illustration I made for my Wizard of Oz storybook.

All characters belong to their owners. Tweaked it out to look more Disney-ish is all :D

I apologize for the watermark. My mother insisted hahaha XD

©KOF - Kingdom Of Fantasy magazine.

Finally, I can show you this picture. I made this cover art for a brand new magazine called KOF (Kingdom of Fantasy), published by DieGo publishing ([link]).
As requested, I got inspired by the two movies about the Wizard of Oz, (one of my favourite books, by the way), the brand new one called "The Great and Powerful Oz", directed by Sam Raimi, prequel of the old movie by Victor Fleming, "The Wizard of Oz", in 1939, and this is my tribute to those amazing movies and to Frank Baum too!
As you can see, I didn't want to portrait all actors involved in the new movie, I just wanted to catch some similarities and paint all characters by myself. I still have to go to the cinema and watch the new movie, but working on this cover made me pretty much curious about it (I had to do a lot of research), and the color are pure awesomeness!
Anyway, I hope you like it.
And yes, it is my very first painting with my brand new Cintiq! I love it!

FYI: you can find a workshop of this cover inside the magazine! Out the 29th of March! Stay tuned on www.diegopublishing.com.
