The curves of my body,
Memorizing every turn.
And I was happy.
But suddenly I'm screaming and
Holding my head in my hands
Because I can't remember how to breathe.
And I'm pounding my dashboard because
I can't handle listening to this song anymore.
But I don't like the silence.
And I didn't ask for this.
I didn't mean to spit my heart out so close
To your feet because you keep stepping on it,
And I don't think you even realize it.
I don't want to lean into your words
As they fall from your soft lips
Because I know that they're false.
And it makes me angry as hell.
I guess what I'm saying is:
I don't need you.
I don't want you.
I was never yours.
And I was never in love.
I will deny it every time you ask.
I will say "No."

Lie to me one more time.
Tangle your legs in mine,
Brush your lips along my neck.

Truly an object of mystique and mystery
A simple device, with a painted layer
That conceals a face of rotting worms
Oh, I'm sorry, was I supposed to overlook it?
Let me rephrase it in a more appropriate manner
You are a cowardly, pathetic, miserable, filthy
Unintelligent, soul-sucking, perfidious, bag of rotting worms
You who once held my respect, you who were once my friend
you shared in my secrets and you shared in my dreams
But in the end, it was the lies
The horrible, filthy lies that spew forth from your tainted lips...
I guess it was a simple decision
I had no need to keep up this facade
and so I decided that I too should enjoy this game
and I began to taint my lips with lies
Oh how I enjoyed your anguish and misery...
That wonderous feeling of having you squirm
and before I knew it, I found myself wearing
a mask to hide those rotting worms...

Where Angels PlayWhere Angels Play:Where Angels Play1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
A lonely spark appears before me tonight
amongst the struggles deep inside of me...
Should I give in, will I breathe in?
How much more can I be forced to take
before my soul breaks?
Shards crashing into me
letting me know I am alive
I am barely breathing...
The moon lights my pathway
deep in dark, where we will fade
I've walked past the archway
Where angels will play...
The warmest touch, upon my skin
Wings that glow with sacred light, from deep within
They have come to take me back, to where I've been
Gone away into the winds, my voice forever lingering
Do I alone escape this and find my peace
without concern for what is left behind
Even if I could close my eyes in endless rest
The thought of you keeps me breathing...
The angel that leads me, deep in dark, where I seem to fade;
The lonely spark that keeps me, is the warmth of your heart...

We'll start with the rose petals
scattered lavishly across the bed
A symbolic collage of my broken thoughts
like memories crushed and thrown into the winds
they lie where they fall, forever forgotten...
Tacks and nails shall line the floor!
A perfect representation of my painful steps
To walk forward was to suffer
to stand still was to endure
Like the insults thrown at me, like the physical abuse
they drive their way into my skin and remain embedded
Unable to be removed except by force
And now comes the masterpiece, the perfect finishing touch
A wall of words and photographs depicting my sorrows and greivances
The filthy shame of these long years and the pain which I've kept inside
Now I engrave it into this concrete canvas...
Let all the world know of what was done to me
even as I part from it...
For in death I swear they shall have no reprieve!
In life I wanted to be beautiful and in death I shall finally be so

Throwing my fists into my mattress.
I am laying here trying so hard
To be something more than this.
My sheets are crumpled from
Being horribly wide awake
And restlessly unconscious,
But they still smell like you.
And it is achingly cruel.
I don't believe I will die,
But I do believe in reckless behavior
Because as hard as I try I
Will never be good enough for you.
My hands don't fit in yours
But I keep trying to force them to.
And I know you will let me
Because I am weak and I
Will undress when you ask me to,
But I really hope you don't.
I am screaming again and
It shakes my bones.
I scream until my voice breaks
And there is nothing left.
I am hollow.
I am empty.
I am too far gone.
ContradictionsThese things seem to rule my life,Contradictions1 year ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This
Some people hate me and cause me strife,
Others think me a hero, ready to sacrifice myself.
Many think me noble, but you can decide that yourself.
Contradictions, they rule my life, "Why did she break up with you?"
A complete and utter list of contradictions, all of which I tell you,
"Does she love you?" I answer she says so, and I love her too.
A contradiction follows, "But then why did she break-up with you?"
That's the mystery, the greatest contradiction of all, to all of you,
But no, I leave out one thing, the thing that kills me inside too.
"I'm just... I'm not happy." What she said, word for word,
And I cry now, because what she said did not go unheard.

And those early signs of bliss
Where heartache's still unheard of
And all you lust for is a kiss
When we're still so innocent and pure
Think with love, this world, we cure
But we're just so immature
Gave our hearts away without really being sure
There is nothing like the first love
No one could ever take their place
We may come across pure beauty
Only to find perfection in their face
And the thickness of their lips
Combine to form a perfect smile
Leave our hair standing on its tips
Nothing like the first love
Even if one day we grow apart
We will always keep the memories
And a special place for them inside our hearts

I wish you hadn't scooped me up.
I wish you hadn't started caring for me.
I wish I hadn't cared for you.
You saw me cry.
You didn't know how much baggage I carried.
What I had,
You could never deal with.
The baggage I carry,
Needs someone to be around all the time.
I've been neglected.
Ive been lied to.
Ive been left out on the street to fend for myself.
Ive been left to fight other peoples battles.
I just want to be my own person.
I want to not hurt anymore.
If you see me sitting under that tree,
Don't come up,
And try to save me.
You would be trying to win a losing battle.
Love is WarThey say love is a battlefield of war.Love is War1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
We want someone special and nothing more
Feels like an endless chore.
Can we spot the difference
between the normal and the special
someone who can take us out our shell
And make our hearts feel like we've fallen to a spell
Love is pain
That drives us all insane
A battlefield where instead of blood
Tears fall like the rain
But it's pain so unlike the usual
when we find the perfect person
an experience that's so beautiful
We all need someone to teach us how to love
someone who can give us mini heart-attacks
until our heart can't take enough
Leave our hair standing on its tips
every single time our heart beat skips
Leave us dazzled with a smile
that makes us lust after their lips
And make us fall with just one kiss,
As cupid shoots us with an arrow that wont miss
we'll be living such a wild dream.
Even pain feels like its bliss
Doesn't get better than this
No reason for our heart to bleed
They'll be all that we will need
Love will portray them

I'll hope one day we'll get to meet,
At first sight our hearts will wildly beat
And the distance will be just a bad memory.
Accomplishing this dream will be so sweet
I already miss your voice,
The warmest, softest noise
To me it's like a melody,
A lullaby that's meant for me
You say I'm special, and I want to believe its true
but if I'm special, what are you?
You're pure perfection in my eyes,
A perfection in HIS eyes.
All I can say is: I MISS YOU.
And I promise you one day we'll make it through
but for now all this is just a wish,
That every day I pray to come true.

Waits a little angel with eyes expressing fear.
She wears a dress of shining so light and clear,
And in her palm she holds her teddy so tight,
Whilst scarlet skies turn black to herald trouble.
Flames fly high over her raven crown without care,
Scorching grim ground beneath her feet.
But this is no angel that any army can defeat,
She'll break bullets with breath of a terrified sound,
And she'll tame those who torment with her stare.
Standing alone amongst wreckage of war,
Sings a little angel with hands howling pain.
She walks in boots of mourning so brash and vain,
And in her gaze she wields her hate so harsh,
Whilst grey graves turn red to blind disaster.
Explosions erupt low under her toes pale by pity,
Burning stagnant skin revealing her mystery.
But this is no angel that anarchy will have victory,
She'll crack courage with cries of a mortified sin,
And she'll humble those who hurt with her ferocity.
Standing alone amongst concrete of carnage

I miss you so much that I can't sleep.
But I have to keep moving because you

You held my hand for a second too long and

And I believed you because your eyes had that same
Warm look in them that you always got when
You would tell me something important.
I've seen you three times since then, and we
