The only way to get your hands on one of these horses is to officially adopt one from adoptable sales, which are only going to be designed by myself. The purpose of this is not to make the breed "exclusive," but rather to ensure that colors and markings are to be kept natural-looking.
Adoptables can be any age, color, type, etc. So there will be a lot of variety in the Norwegian Warmblood stock, and you will be ensured a unique horse either way.
Also! You must have an active stable (not necessarily one registered with HARPG) in order to bid.
Tips for those bidding with art:
Your art bid will be viewed as a representation of how you will portray the horse while it is in your ownership. It will also be seen as a representation of how seriously you're taking the bid, i.e. how bad you want the horse to become yours.
The winner is not picked on who drew the prettiest picture, but rather picked based on how much effort and thought you pu

Results and Feedback
Overall, I was extremely impressed by the quality and variety of entries I receive. As I'm not using any particular points system, it made for some very challenging judging. I have also decided to award some extra prizes. For horses awarded champion titles, only one championship was awarded per qualifying horse.

To get an entry approved just submit to our folder Shows/Title trials, if the deviation is accepted into the gallery the dog was accepted for the title.
What is the Title System?
This is an ongoing event, meaning it has no deadline and you finish the drawing whenever you want.
Some competitions that give out titles like "Tracking Dog Excellent" are hard to find on dA. So below is a list of some titles that TKC provides without having it to be a contest. This way you will know for sure that all those hours spent on an drawing, will be worth it.
A drawing made for our title system will give you 5xp for the title you earn, but you also get 7xp cause it is an event drawing.

General rules of foal designs
RULES FOR NATURAL GENES CAN BE FOUND HERE: FOAL DESIGNS: NATURALS
Only use the OFFICIAL GROUP FOAL LINES, and DO NOT EDIT THEM. The rules on making small edits is listed on the images description:
Do NOT shade or highlight your design; it will distort the colours and may make your foal look too dark or light when your real base colour is acceptable.
Do NOT add dyes, contacts, scars etc. to a foal design; it should be your foal in the most basic form without any extras. You can add these things in the reference image.
If the horse is identical on both sides, you CAN have dyes, scars, contacts etc. showing on the alternative side of the foal. This means you have both sides showing, one in the "natural" state and the other with the additions.

BonesWhat are Bones?Bones1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Bones are our in-game currency that basically act like a point system.
You can gain up to 6 bones a month per character. Bones are character specific - they do not pool into a general player pot. Each character has their own bones, no matter how many characters you have.
1 RP drawing = 1 bone. An RP drawing constitutes any artwork done by you that is colored & with at least a loose background, that excels or pertains directly to the story of your character. Examples are a picture of your character hunting, your character finding a pack, etc. Drawing something directly from an RP also counts, but again must be colored & with at least a loose background. An RP drawing is generally considered officially IC, instead of OOC like a plain character sketch would be. They need to have more effort put into them than a sketch. *collabs are allowed but must follow the same rules.
1 completed RP = 1 bone for any participating characters, as long as there are at least 3 posts

I'm going to try and use this same journal for all 12 months of the year, but if it starts getting too messy or long I may split it up. The current month will always be at the top of the list. So if we're in April, it will read April, THEN January and Feburary etc etc. When the month is complete, it will be moved to its proper place in the year and the current month will take its place.
A folder has been created specifically for monthly theme submissions!
These will apply to EVERY month.
Your image absolutely must show the theme in a way that is obvious and doesn't confuse the living daylights out of your admin team! If we

This breed is a cross between two existing warmblood breed: KWPN and sella italiano with spanish and friesian influence, to make them more elegant and strong. They exel in show jumping, dressage and also sometimes are good eventing horses. They have strong and muscled leg with a big and "bull" neck; the head has a straight profile and intelligent and curios eyes. For the most hollendarts have blu or grey eyes, brown, green and yellow are rare color; the coat can be of any existing color, and also for the markings, but there are some "special" coat like Joker, striped, white back and tribal black: this are special markings that can appear only on pure hollendart, caused by additional genes; so if you br

Nordanner Permanent Black ListIn the spirit of Christmas and the new year, the blacklist has been (mostly) cleared. Some names have remained because their offense was too serious to be removed or were recently caught evading their first ban. Or, of course, if they requested to be blocked to filter search results. Blacklisting is never fun for anyone and we know a lot can happen in a few months or a year. People change and grow, after all! Past offenses shouldn't be held against anyone for all eternity unless it was something truly serious.
Please respect those who may own your old horses if you wish to return to the breed. It's one thing for them to gift horses back to you and another to ask for them--so don't do that. If complaints are received for bad behavior in this regard, you'll end up right back here, so please avoid that. Deceased horses remain deceased.
Happy New Year, everyone!

About the Norwegian WarmbloodBreed StandardAbout the Norwegian Warmblood2 years ago in Personal More Like This
A Norwegian Warmblood must hold a certain presence. Due to the breed's long and unkept history, allowing influence from many different breeds, certain features can be seen, and accepted, that is otherwise unseen in other warmblood breeds.
From slight convex profile is a common sight, along with the standard straight profile represented by the thoroughbred breed, to a shortened face with large "doe" eyes, a characteristic seen in ponies.
No matter it's head shape, the Norwegian Warmblood has managed to retain and keep a very expressive eye, along with flaring nostrils and a high set tail. Thus, watching a Norwegian Warmblood at liberty is one of the most beautiful and joyful experiences one can ever imagine.
There are no specific sets of "types," though there is a range of body types that can be seen. These warmbloods most often have a medium warmblood type build. Long legs are accompanied by a proportionately muscular body, and a relatively high set neck

A time to just have fun with loads of laugher and playful times with your horse.
All horses can enter. It doesn't matter if a shetland pony is competing against a warmblood or draft, everyone is competing on the same terms. Ponies simply gets some extra seconds to compete against the bigger horses depending on their size. But also drafts gets a few seconds extra compared to the warmbloods. So. A pony and draft can easily compete with a warmblood or lighter and faster breeds. But this doesn't mean Warmbloods are the best breed for this event, right.
You and your horse is to finish a little course of obstacles. By hand. The handler is running along side the horse to guide it through the course of obstacles and lead it to the finish.
Depending on how well you know your horse, you can either choose to have the horse in full liberty, or have it in a halter. You choose yourself. Have fun with your horse.
