T - True Love
Back in the 40's if someone had told Steve that he will fall in love with Howard Stark's son, Steve would call them crazy for obvious reasons. But if someone would tell this to Steve after he woke up in the 21st Century he would still call them crazy. Why would Steve fall in love with that cocky, self-obsessed, egoistic, rude, self-absorbed, narcissistic.. And he could go on and on. So why a few months after the Tesseract incident, having Tony curled in his lap, as Steve was gently stroking the mass of brown hair, felt so right? Steve got caught in his memories and didn't notice when his hand slipped down and instead of caressing Tony's hair, he slid his hand down brunet's face, bopping him on the nose. When he heard the smaller man laugh and shift in his lap, looking up, smiling brightly and content and lovingly and he was looking at Steve with so much emotion.. Steve smiled back and ducked his head while Tony moved his up, lips meeting in a kiss. Steve kne
Hunters enchantment, chapter three. As Dean awoke from a refreshing slumber; he felt a caressing hand roaming; tangled into his tousled, knotted hair. A smile spread accross his comfortably soft features as Dean sensed delicate skin brushing against his now fully rested head; half opening his restored eyes Dean spyed Castiel laying on his side with his eyes locked onto his; one hand slotted in between his head and the bed sheets, the other twirling carelessly; lost in the jungle of hair. As Castiel saw Dean had awoken he retreated his hand briskly; sitting up boltright with a slight tint of pink arrising in his cheek bones and slowely spreading across his face. As much as Dean had craved Castiel's touch and was slightly dissapointed when he had stopped, he couldn't help but wonder why Castiel would even consider doing so in the first place. Perhaps he had read his mind; perhaps he had and now he was toying with his heart to see his breaking point. "I'm sure Dean, we've been dating for nearly a month now, I think it's time you met my daughter," Sam smiled and stood, pulling the older male to him.
"But what if she doesn't like me?"
"Dean, hush," Sam smiled and pulled their lips together.
Wrapping his large hands around Sam's hips, he pulled him closer as Sam's arms rested around his neck. Dean was almost completely relaxed with Sam's lips playing against his when the sound of a car pulling up was heard.
"Oh lord," Dean said, biting his lip a little.
"Where is the Dean from all those stories you told me?" Sam asked, with a cocked eyebrow. "She's five, not a 250 pound linebacker looking for your blood"
"No but," Dean frowned and looked away.
"Dean tell me what's going on in your head"
"If she doesn't like me, you're going to leave me,"
Sam opened and closed his mouth a few times and pulled Dean into a hug, suddenly seeing w

Sometimes, Dean can't take it anymore. He asks himself how much more of this he can endure, but God forbid he would ever let Sam know about it.
He stepped into the shoddy motel bathroom, looking over his shoulder before closing the door. Dean had become too paranoid for his own good. At least, that's what his brother tells him.
After today, all he wanted to do was shower. His bare feet stuck to the bathroom's white tiled floor, leaving behind sweaty, bloody footprints as he stepped out of his threadbare jeans. Dean hated when blood seeped into his boots, especially when it wasn't his own.
Especially when it was an innocent person's.
He and Sam had fought a Wendigo today, a creature they hadn't encountered since they began looking for their father back in 2005. They had managed to torch the grotesque creature, but nevertheless, two innocent hikers were murdered. Thrashed and reduced to tattered chunks of flesh.
Dean despised letting people they were attempting to save, die.

A Sweet SurpriseIt was the cheesiest thing Sam had ever done. But it was Castiel's first Christmas and he had to find some way to make it special. Looking down the chimney of the lodge, though, he wondered if this was going too far. The sack, thank God, was lightweight because hunters rarely had money to spend on presents. Even so, it was a long way down and Sam wasn't the most agile guy. (Damn Dean for being the one who excelled in gym.)A Sweet Surprise3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Taking a deep breath, Sam started climbing down the chimney. He sniffed the air to make sure that there wasn't any smoke. The last thing he needed was to fall into a fire. Lucifer had done enough to make sure he knew how that felt. He dug his gloved fingers into the side of the wall and held tight to the rope that was strapped to the roof. "You can do it, Sam," he thought to himself. "Just think about Cas..." A few moments later, he made it. He let out a sigh of relief and began to place Cas' couple of presents beneath the tree in their lodge room.

The prince woke up in a happier mood than usual. He had the usual wedding dream again, but now that he knew who the boy of his dreams was, he expected the dream to be as natural as breathing. He stayed in bed for a few minutes, loving the feeling of excitement and butterflies in his stomach. Then, realizing that he was in the same house as Sam, he jumped out of bed and into the bathroom.
Before going to breakfast, he stared at the mirror and smirked. 'I am the sexiest bastard on earth.'. Feeling inspired by his awkward pep talk, he even did a little jig (sort of) and after seeing the way he looked in the mirror, promised he would never do such a thing again.
He practically skipped down the stairs and into the kitchen, only to be greeted with the sight of Castiel with his legs spread for the roaming hands of Gabriel. Mind you, they were
Castiel's First ChristmasIt was all very strange. There was a tree in the room, that Sam and Dean had wrapped lights around along with something they called tinsel. They had also placed balls of glass and plastic all over the tree. On the top was the 'Christmas Angel' that was both intriguing and appalling. Under the tree, the Winchester brothers had placed gifts for each other and one each for him. Heaving a sigh, Cas moved to the tree and slid the two gifts he held underneath it.Castiel's First Christmas4 years ago in Sci-Fi More Like This
He wasn't sure why he had let the two convince him to partake in this celebration. It wasn't something he had ever understood, nor had he tried to. In Heaven, he paid little attention to things such as Christmas. He wasn't aware that befriending Sam and Dean would mean he had to acknowledge it; they didn't seem the sort of people who cared so much about such foolish activity.
"Cas," he turned to find Dean grinning at him. He was holding a glass of something creamy and yellowish in color. "Here. Drink up." Dean handed the glass to hi

Sam looked up as he heard the footsteps approach his hotel room door, stopping just on the other side as a single key was jammed into the lock. He couldn't help but swallow hard as he grabbed the keys to the Impala from the table in front of him and shoved them into his pocket. The last thing he needed was for his brother to realize why he had taken a cab back to the hotel instead of his beloved classic car. When the door swung open, he braced himself for what he assumed would be an agitated, irrational man.
He watched as Dean stumbled in, tossing the hotel key towards the small table by the door and missing it by more than a foot. When the key hit the floor, the other man instantly looked down to his feet as if he had suddenly dropped something but was not sure what that might be. Shrugging, he carefully shut the door behind him. He stood there for a moment, obviously drunk out of his mind as he put a hand against the wall to steady his steps. Sam took a glanc

Dean swore under his breath as he passed the wet cloth over his face; each cut and bruise was a reminder of Sam's finale decision. He tossed the face cloth into the sink bowl, which was now filled with red water, and hunched over the dirty vanity to stare at himself in the mirror. "Damn it Sammy..." He muttered to himself, thinking of the brother he used to know so well, but now barely recognized. He had given the other man a choice, just like their father once had, and just like before, Sam had chosen to take the door and walk away from the life he had known.
He let out a sigh and closed his eyes, the sound of the water dripping in the sink sounding more and more like the monotone ticking of a clock. He had walked a path barely known or followed by those walking the streets alongside him; had selflessly saved countless lives, but what did he have to show for it? He had made the ultimate sacrifice for what he had always thought to be the b

Fresh out of college, however prematurely it was, Sam was still relearning things about the job. It always bothered him that his little brother thought he could really escape this. But with Jessica gone just like- he shook his head and looked back at the house.

"Come in." he called and the two men he was just thinking of walked in. Reid walked in after Morgan did and shut the door behind him. "Please sit." He instructed them both.
He cleared his throat and told the both of them "I heard from Rossi that there was something going on between the two of you. From his impression I got that it was something of a personal nature."
"I'm not quite sure what you mean..." Morgan answered. Reid remained quiet.
"I only asked because I saw something from what I believe was between the two of you on the case we had a few weeks ago when we were in Alaska." He looked over at Reid. "I saw you leaving from Morgan and Garcia's room. Now I know that Garcia was downstairs at the time leaving only Morgan in the

Sam fell to his knees in agony, as the images rushing through his head hit him like a lightning strike.
He could see his older brother standing in a dingy room. Dean had a gun to his throat and that 'look' in his eyes; a painful look of anger and despair that was rarely seen on a hardened face like his. In the mirror over Dean's shoulder, he could see the reflection of Castiel standing there; facing him but doing nothing at all to control the situation.
He let out a groan, the searing pain making him clutch his head as he tried to stop the vivid scene. In the blink of an eye, he could see a dirty bathroom in a room much like his own, the numbers on the door were just down the hall. When a hand fell on his shoulder, he was pulled back to reality; gasping as he tried to catch his breath.
"Sam!" Ruby shouted, watching as the man in front her tried to calm himself. "Are you alright? What happened?"

I didn't accept my feelings. I knew what they were, but I didn't accept them. I tried to push them away, but they were there. They've always been there, and I suspect that you have always been able to tell. I see the way you look at me sometimes when you think I am otherwise occupied. I can't tell you where I am. I am not being difficult, as you will probably assume. I'm leaving so that you and your brother will be safe, D

Like a drop of blood in shark infested waters, the second Dean squeezed the trigger was the very moment the archangels moved in. Though the first shot was meant for Michael, his deal with Lucifer forced him to take aim for one of the many others gathered around them instead. Without missing a beat, he fired one shot after another, each bullet taking an archangel down as he tried in vain to keep them at bay. Despite a valiant effort, the odds were against him from the start and in no time, he felt the walls closing in. When one of them lashed out at him with a sharp blade in hand, Dean took a nervous step back and bumped into Castiel, who in turn backed into Gabriel.

It was true that his mental state seemed to be deteriorating all the time. The joke shop had been closed for days, now. He must have lost a lot of sales.
He didn’t care.
Why should he care? What did money matter, when they were richer than they’d ever needed to be? What did the shop matter, when the only other person who had shared the dream was gone?
What did anything matter, when he was half of a whole?
Yes, they worried. They all worried. His mother most of all, of course, as all mothers did. His father, who always seemed unsure of what to do around him now. His siblings… Well, they had all felt almost the same pain he had. Almost. None of them had lost their other halves.
He didn’t know what he was thinking half the time. The other half, his thoughts were incomplete.
You see, Fred had always been there to complete them for him.
