Cause all my life I've felt this way, but I could never find the words to say.
The rain hitting Castiel's face is cold, the droplets running off his cheeks and onto his shoulders. "You're serious, aren't you?" Dean stands less than two feet away from him, but it feels like a thousand. To know that he will never see Dean again, to never touch his Hunter, cuts Castiel. A deep cut. A cut that- if it ever actually healed- would take years to mend. "You really mean to leave." It sounded cold and hard, a bitter truth that escapes Dean's lips.
To-Do List"Balls," Bobby slammed the phone back into the receiver and stormed away from his wall of phones. One hand found his hat and peeled it off from his sweat-encrusted scalp while the other ran over his balding pate in obvious frustration. Were anyone to see him at that moment, they'd probably think he'd gone mad. Perhaps he had, what he was about to do would surely qualify him for such a diagnosis.To-Do List3 years ago in Sci-Fi More Like This
Cramming his hat back onto his head, Bobby grunted his annoyance and moved into his study. He perused the bookshelves until he found some that could prove to be at least a little useful and shoved them all into a duffel with a few guns and other weapons he was sure he would need.
As he zipped up the duffel, the phone he had just hung up rang again. Scowling, he stomped over to it and yanked it free. "What now, ya idjits?"
"Uh," Sam's hesitant voice sounded in his ear. "I can't find him."
"Can't find who, Sam?"
"Dean. I can't find Dean, Bobby. I went to tell him that you were on your way
Hunters enchantment, chapter one.The heat was overpowering and Dean was struggling to handle it any longer. Cupping the cool, refreshing liquid in his shaking hands he attempted to drown his flushed face, drenching his febrile features again and again. He clutched the grubby sides of the motel sink and stared at the unfamiliar man returning his distressed gaze, a small sigh escaping from his trembling, dripping lips. Closing his weary eyes Dean rested his confound head against the smeared mirror; sensing the rushing droplets of sweat and water combined sizzle against his flustered skin. The sound of banging on the locked bathroom door erupted Dean's trail of thought forcing him to stumble backwards; rubbing his temple with two fingers and a thumb. A familiar voice leaked reassuringly through the rugged, paper thin door as Dean's fingers trailed down to the bridge of his nose and squeezed lightly "Dean? "I'm just not sure how caffeine will affect Jimmy," Cas finished.
Dean looked up at him. "Oh, yeah, your vessel. Well caffeine makes you more hyper? I don't know, I always preferred a bit of liquid courage over liquid yappy dog."
"That doesn't make sense, courage is a trait and a yappy dog is an animal, how are those even comparable to liquids or to each other?" Cas said.
Dean looked at Cas. "Just drink your damn coffee," he retorted.

"Gaaaabe, your bugging Dean And I think you're irritating Cas, too."
The four were hanging out in Bobby's living room, just enjoying some TV and conversation. Dean was sitting in the middle of the couch, Castiel leaning on him, resting his head on the human's shoulder. Gabriel was on Dean's other side, laying with his head against the arm of the couch, his legs splayed across the human. Sam was sitting in the armchair, frowning at his archangel. Bobby was out getting some food.
"Seriously, get your smelly feet off of me." Dean glared at the Trickster, who was munching on M & M's. Gabriel raised an eyebrow, as if questioning the human.

Taking hold of his anxiety, he sat straighter in the chair and met his brother's unwavering gaze. "Are you going to answer my question or should I get a book to read while you think it through?"
The expression fell from Dean's face and with a small, almost imperceptible shake of his head, he glared at Sam. It was as though the last five minutes hadn't happened. "Shut it, Sammy." He growled, though the tone behind it told Sam that he wasn't even remotely upset. "Do I think you're a freak? Yeah, Sam I do. I always have. But," he met Sam's gaze and sighed. "But only I get to call you that."
"That's very reassuring, Dean, thank you. I am so glad we had this talk." Sam sighed and turned to his laptop, then hesitated. His love

Castiel was utterly lost as to what to do. He really, really had no idea. Instead of taking the easy way just asking someone who did have an idea he decided to find out himself. Never before had he been in a position to have an occasion for which he'd have to have a present and he wasn't quite sure what it had to be like. Of course, he could ask Samuel or Gabriel or Balthazar, but the two last mentioned would probably mock him or give him something he'd embarrass himself with, and the first mentioned would be overly helpful, which would make Castiel feel rather uncomfortable. No, he preferred going off on his own in search for a birthday present for his best friend Dean Winchester. He knew Dean would be happy when he gave him a pie an apple pie, home-made and still warm but that would be too easy. So no. No pie, unless he couldn't find anything else.
Hunters enchantment, chapter five.Castiel was confused, far more confused than he's ever been in his entire existence. And at the very center of that enduring confusion was Dean, whom he'd grown to cherish and adore. There were very few people who Castiel was certain he could rely on and he was glad that Dean was one of them, a person whom he could entrust with his life, a person who would never let him down and always come when he needed them.Hunters enchantment, chapter five.3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
There had always been something about Dean; some emotion inside of him that drew Castiel to him, an emotion he couldn't quite put his finger on, but he knew that he would always protect Dean, knew no one could ever stop him from being close to him and he knew that he would do anything to keep him safe, he would gladly give up his own life if he thought it was going to, in any way, protect Dean.

As Castiel saw Dean had awoken he retreated his hand briskly; sitting up boltright with a slight tint of pink arrising in his cheek bones and slowely spreading across his face. As much as Dean had craved Castiel's touch and was slightly dissapointed when he had stopped, he couldn't help but wonder why Castiel would even consider doing so in the first place. Chapter 1; Sinking like a Stone
When Dean regained consciousness, all he could focus on was his pounding headache. Every heartbeat hit like a hammer and each time it did, he could feel it in the back of his throbbing head. It was the sound of distant engines roaring through the woods that brought him back to his senses; a small comfort to know that the men who'd done this to him, were finally gone. He didn't know for sure how long he'd been out, but assumed it had been no more than a few minutes if he could still hear them speeding away into the cold, damp night. What had just happened wasn't quite clear, but what he did know without a doubt, was that he was in over his head. He let out a groan as he tried to straighten out, but the ropes and rusty barb wire wrapped around his wrists, held him firmly in place. He swore under his breath, frustrated that everything was a haze inside his pounding head... he couldn't even remember what had led to the situation he currently foun

"Good morning, Sam!" Dean greeted cheerfully as he walked into the kitchen. The hazel eyed boy blushed deeply and suddenly found his utensils very interesting. He mumbled a quiet hello and flashed the prince a small smile. Gabriel yawned as he walked in, giving Dean a letter from Sarah. Gabriel pulled his angel into a "Good-Morning" kiss, only pulling away because of the childish gagging noises coming from the prince. He opened the letter and scanned it, 'Blah Blah Blah, the wife of one of the Army Generals was having a baby soon, and he had to be there to give his good wishes.' He glared hard at the paper and crumpled it up. The prince left the kitchen rudely, suddenly not hungry anymore.
Gabriel pulled his son back to his chair when he got up, saying that it was best to leave Dean alone. Dean sat on his bed, wanting to cry from frustration. He and Sam were finally getti

"Yeah, Cas, you have Dean; Gabriel's mine," Sam's voice mumbled against Gabe's neck, causing Castiel to glance at the two. Gabriel was still standing there, looking surprised and a little bit flustered. The archangel blinked several times, before flicking his eyes to stare at Cas.

Slowly he opened the door, Mikey was not in there. Leo hobbled all over the lair checking every room; except Master Splinter’s. There was no way he was telling Splinter Mikey was missing until he knew for sure.

Dinner had been perfect. Everything was delicious, they were in this wonderful little restaurant right up the street from Reid's apartment. He'd never actually been there but he passed it a lot. Finally he'd went in. There he was sitting across the table from the most gorgeous guy he'd ever known and not only were they having dinner together but it was a date and his date felt the same way.

Dean grew increasingly anxious as he traversed the long hallway leading to the healer's apartment. He didn't know much about the man, just that he'd shown up on the supernatural scene a few months earlier and could heal just about anything. Dean desperately wanted to save his brother from insanity, which was why he was here: he didn't trust magic healers. Generally speaking, they tended to be demons or witches or people who'd somehow managed to enslave reapers. If they weren't, they were crazy and/or ineffective, so Dean's anxiety was completely justified. He knocked on the door that matched the address on the note in his pocket, fully aware of the fact that he had about a fifty-fifty chance of being attacked by some beast just inside.
The man that opened the door was no beast. Nor was he a demon or a witch. Dean froze in shock as he took in the
