Trying to go ProfessionalWhat would it mean if I could actually take on YouTube as a profession?
Mainly it would result in 100% more videos for you guys, as well as being able to branch out and really dedicate time in production and editing.
This is something I've been talking about with Kelly for a while now, and I have recently (after some serious talk) gained my mothers support in the venture.
However, I can't do it for free. This is where you guys come in.
1) In the last few months of 2012, I plan to push for new designs in the Parlé store. So if you'd like to support us; then please buy a t-shirt or two when they are ready to go!
US STORE: http://parleproductionsusa.spreadshirt.com
UK STORE: http://parleproductions.spreadshirt.co.uk
2) Tell your friends about our shows, make your own videos talking about the shows. Do journals and tumblr blogs; anything to get the Parlé name out there and appealing to more people. The more people we get; the more likely this will happen.
3) Although we're not ke
Stupid Maple SyrupI was quite happy being asleep. But no, some blood Canadian thought it would be best to phone me. Not to mention phone me while impersonating me. twinfools is mental, I would like it to be known.Stupid Maple Syrup3 years ago in Personal More Like This
And what's worse? There's three of them in total, not just one, zooming down the road towards the house right now.
I told Kelly to take them back to the airport and leave them where she found them. She wouldn't listen to me.
Four Years AgoFour years ago, something happened that completely changed the course of my life in a very real, very noticeable way.Four Years Ago3 years ago in Personal More Like This
On the 19th of January 2008, I hadn't really intended to do anything to make my life change so drastically. There was no plan, no preconception, nothing. Things just happened the way they happened, and I wouldn't change it for the world.
On the night of the 19th of January 2008, tealpirate and I started going out.
From that day on, my life was changed. I'd gone from a previously unhappy relationship to one I now was full of hope, excitement and expectation. My previous relationship had me feeling worn out, disillusioned and unhappy by three years or so into the relationship, yet with Jenn, I'm four years in, and still as crazily in love as the day I met her.
So, here's to you, Jenn, and the four fabulous years of life you have already gifted me with. I hope to continue them for as long as I live, and can only hope to bring you the same measure of happiness that you

Devious Journal EntryI just suffered shock at advice I saw being given to a convention goer of how to keep her energy levels up while at a convention...Devious Journal Entry3 years ago in Personal More Like This
- Hold soda in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing it, as your mouth absorbs the sugars quicker
- Drink OJ with sugar added to it
- Honey sticks
Basically, the advice given was "SUGAR, AND LOTS OF IT!"
I don't know what people are taught about health in the USA, but clearly it's VERY different to the UK. People, PLEASE don't live on sugar at a convention! Not only is it bad for your teeth, but bad for your health, and it's NOT the best source of energy there is!
Eating regularly and healthily, especially wholemeals, will provide you with a much healthier and long-lasting source of energy. Sure, you may get a brief rush from a Red Bull, but you'll have a crash as well. I know none of us take the best care of ourselves at cons, but at least TRY to get in a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. And drink plenty of water!!
And definitely don't ad
Alcon 2012What an amazing con. It topped last year's Alcon (hence the chant buzzing around the con "Best Alcon Ever") and I was just so happy to be a part of that and meet so many amazing people that my Facebook literally exploded after the con ended. EXPLODED WITH MANLY RELISH THAT IS. I was going to wait until I had all the photos from the con before typing out this journal but meh, I've got time now and I've got energy SO LET'S CONQUER THIS SLIDE!!!Alcon 20123 years ago in Personal More Like This
Myself, VandorWolf and Valdrein got into London Saturday morning and after going through the obstacle course that is the International Visitors way through Gatwick airport we were greeted by a sleepy KellyJane who had woken up at 5am or something crazy like that to come get us at the airport (weloveyou). We spent the day with Parle in stinky plane clothes and with about 3 hours of sleep each which just made everything far more magical (except for the magic show we watched in Oxford Circus which was crap... I mean what kind of magici

Aang for a Cure: FDP Charity FundraiserHello everyone!Aang for a Cure: FDP Charity Fundraiser3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I've been thinking for the last month or so about FDP's next charity event. It's been a while since Nova's Pray for Japan campaign (relief for tsunami victims) and I figured that it might be time for another project.
I've been talking for years about shaving my head to cosplay Aang. He's my favourite character in The Last Airbender, and although I've cosplayed him before that was a while ago (aka I'm not satisfied with that costume XD). To kick my ass into gear to do this, I've decided to shave my head for cancer research. Shaving off hair for cancer fundraisers is a pretty common thing to do, but this time there's a twist when you make a donation of any size to any cancer society (I've provided links to some major ones, but feel free to donate to any local organizations or organizations in your country that I may have missed!) reply to this message and include 1) Where you made a donation to 2) Who you want to shave Aang's head: Sokka, Zuko, Azula, Katara or Toph
After AbunaiconWhat a weekend. After Abunaicon3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Kelly and I are finally back home after a very early flight back to London. I have to say, it was all worth it.
Abunaicon was truly fantastic! It was great meeting some of our followers from the Netherlands and pretty much everyone we met was just lovely!
It was a great test run for Gambit (my sclera contacts arrive tomorrow!!) and I've now decided to make a Human!Wheatley cosplay. Ha ha! It will be fun to be an idiotic character again.
Highlights of Abunaicon:
*Judging the Eurocosplay.
*Being chased by Batman.
*Creating world domination plans with the Joker and Harley while dressed as Loki.
*Invading panels and generally being mental.
*Killing Coulson over and over and over and OVER again!
*Squaring off to a certain Hawkeye everytime I saw her.
*ALL THE DESSERTS!!!
*Being told by four people that I look like Tom Hiddleston.
Twas an AMAZING weekend just so tiring. Phew! I really hope we can come back next year and share in all the fun. Now to plan for Alcon!
Blame it on the Cosplay 217 cosplays. 11 hours of filming. 15GB of footage. 14 hours of editing. One mental cosplayer! Enjoy.Blame it on the Cosplay 23 years ago in Personal More Like This
