Here's a repaint of the Mattel Dark Knight Movie Master Heath Ledger Joker figure.

I did a little re-sculpting on the hair to add a little length and have it hang down on his face a bit more.

This guy was a real hoot to repaint. The paint job on the original factory release doesn't do the sculpt justice. I hope I managed to capture a little of Heath Ledger's menace as The Joker.

The face and hair were completely repainted and the body has some pretty minor detail work added.

Thanks for taking a look and for any comments you might have.

Just in case you're curious, here's a pic of what this figure looked like before my repaint. [link]

It's Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 1! I'm making a new line of customs called "Video Game All Stars" for Playstation The Official Magazine. Issue #2 Jan (on shelves as of this writing!) has my Helghast custom on pg 9. Future issues will have these figures in them so keep an eye out!

Solid Snake was made from a Sigma 6 Snake Eyes, Sigma Strike Duke head, and a lot of Apoxie/Fixit sculpt. Head over to his main page here on my site for more info: [link]

"Then suddenly I saw it. With only a slight churning to mark its rise to the surface, the thing slid into view above the dark waters. Vast, Polyphemus-like, and loathsome, it darted like a stupendous monster of nightmares to the monolith, about which it flung its gigantic scaly arms, the while it bowed its hideous head and gave vent to certain measured sounds. I think I went mad then."

- H.P. Lovecraft, "DAGON"

Done in inks; inspired by the inked art of Gary Gianni, as well as that of Bernie Wrightson, the soundtrack to John Carpenter's "THE THING", and of course ... the story from HP Lovecraft.
