Nienna, mourning for the Two Trees of Valinor. From The Silmarillion, by J.R.R. Tolkien.
"And Nienna arose and went up onto Ezellohar, and cast back her grey hood, and with her tears washed away the defilements of Ungoliant; and she sang in mourning for the bitterness of the world and the Marring of Arda."
My LEGO Iron Man Hulkbuster project is now approved by LEGO CUUSOO. If my project gets 10k supporters LEGO will review and if it passes their evaluation (and after securing rights with Marvel) will produce it as a set.
I’m a huge fan of the Iron Man Hulkbuster armor and when I started to collect Iron Man minifigures I’ve decided to create one to add to the armory.
My first attempt to create a Hulkbuster armor that can be piloted by an Iron Man minifigure is when I got my hands on a Kai’s Fire Mech set from the LEGO Ninjago line (shop.lego.com/en-US/Kai-s-Fire…). As you can see in the first picture I only modified the hands and ditched the gun right hand design. I was already happy with what I came up with but I was not satisfied with my final design.
After looking at the other Hulkbuster builds from other LEGO enthusiasts in different forums I’ve decided to rebuild the armor, this time using an additional Fire Mech set and parts from the Iron Man Ultrabuild set (shop.lego.com/en-US/Iron-Man-4…).
My challenge now is to create a sleek Hulkbuster Iron Man build using only parts from these 3 sets (2 x Fire Mech, 1 x Iron Man Ultrabuild).
Thanks to the additional parts from the Fire Mech the minifigure is now fully enclosed except for the head. I'm also quite happy that I was able to add more design elements thanks to the Ultrabuild's chest armor and the curved blocks and vents from the mech sets.
The reasons for me not adding more parts are: 1. I want to keep the costs to a minimum (cheaper to produce and at the same time more (again, budget friendly to consumers) 2. I really want a design that doesn’t tower too much from the minifigures. 3. I want to use parts that are already available to the market (again, cheaper to reproduce. No need to create new blocks).
Please support this LEGO Ideas project if you want this set to be produced by LEGO. This set would look great next to your Iron Man minifigures.
For my next project I'm thinking of building an armor for Captain America or War Machine just for the fun of it. It may not be comic book canon but I just want to see a mech with integrated designs from the Captain America Ultrabuild.
this is really weird, i managed to find this in the corners of my gallery;[link] a really old version of her without the mask.
Background: Paradoxs creator, Khan, was part of a race of demigods that lived in another world. Khan yearned for control over their peaceful society and resorted to extreme acts in order to gain power. He created a small, elite group from his own body in order to vanquish his fellow demigods. Instead, he was overpowered and sent to be forever imprisoned inside of the far planet earth where the heat from its core would suppress his god-like strength and powers. However, Khan still had strength enough to fracture his mind into separate pieces in order to create new beings out of his own flesh. With this retained power, he created creatures that would venture above to the earths surface and become the eyes and ears of Khan. They would do his bidding and slowly conquer the world so when Khan was finally set free, all he would have to do is take his throne on top of the vanquished earth. However, when the eyes of Khan showed him a human girl, he momentarily forgot about his purpose. He thought she was the most intoxicating thing he had ever seen and resolved to make a creature in her human likeness. But a problem arose; when Khan created a human, it also took on the mentality of a human. His creation was too perfect, too close to that of a real human. The girl saw the horror behind Khans objective, and instead of aiding Khan in conquering the world, she turned on him and his creations in order to return the world to its original state, before there was a Khan. After she destroys all of Khans creations, or her brothers as she calls them, she would be strong enough in order to face Khan himself.
She is, in herself, a contradiction of her origin, or a paradox of her family.
Though Paradox has a human body, the strange powers of demigods still remain. She has enhanced speed/agility and can use the chain and the ribbon as weapons. She can control both as if there were appendages of her own body. Her left arm (with the black glove) controls the chain while the right controls the ribbon. both ribbon and chain can grow/shrink at will.
EXTRA STUFF: (because you asked)
Outfit: the costume was made in order for her to look more like her brothers. The intimidation factor works especially well when she takes care of regular criminals. Her head is covered in cloth with the helmet placed on top of it. The cloth covering her face fades from black to grey. The ribbon is red, but there is a theme of alternating black and white in her clothing, or yin and yang. she doesn't like regular human clothes, only her own, or naked.
Human looks: Hair: Dark brown Eyes: ice blue Height: 5'11"
Well if you like Iron Man so much...for you my third Iron Man picture. I like second movie, especially because of villain Mickey Rourke. Ну is from Russia and he is awesome. But one question - Why his name is Ivan again? You know, I live in Russia, and I know only 2 people with name Ivan. Only 2!!! And what his surname? Vanko. Really? Are you kidding me, Marvel? Ivan Vanko!!! Oh, god.
Ninjas often hang around in public and school libraries to protect the lives and sanity of readers. You see, since a library is mostly a quiet and silent place it attracts Mimes and one of the many duties of the Ninja is to combat this hideous evil no-good scourge. Lest people would never dare enter a library and the world would become illeterate. Now you know. And knowing is half the battle.
