I usually just think this to myself, but sometimes I think it might be fair to just warn people.
My entry for dA's Original Quotes contest! If you like, please vote by clicking "I'd Wear This!" on the right-hand side, underneath the Favorite button. That won't obligate you to buy it, and you can vote for as many entries as you like, so give votes freely!
The font is an edited version of "Annie use your Telescope" from Google's free fonts.
EDIT: Yay semifinals! I'm very happy to be in consideration, even though everyone else's entry makes mine look WAAAY too simple, haha. Being a semifinalist also means I can't reprint this design on my own (due to the rules about rights), but if this doesn't win, I suppose I can make up a new design and reword the quote so people can still buy a version. :3
I just had to enter the last Anthro Challenge for this year and I figured I'd draw my girls. New Year's is always spent best with people you love, and the Guepardina sisters have plenty of love to go around. Having them take a selfie during a fireworks show is a bit ironic, as in real life, all four cats are skittish around fireworks. But it's anthro, so we're fudging things.
I was originally going to do a phone selfie, but morteraphan has been posting these really cool polaroid style pictures, and I just wanted to do a polaroid. Because this is art. And polaroids are awesome.
Here's my entry for Anthro Challenge #126 "Year's End Customs!"
The holiday season is always full of fun traditions and things to do, but I think one of my favorites is spending time with my family as we go downtown to watch a holiday-themed parade-type performance that takes place on the street, which is closed for the duration of the event (only about an hour). Although watching the performance is fun, standing on the bridge and peering down to the road, watching people, waiting for it to start, and just spending time with my family (something I don't get to do often enough anymore) is probably the best part!
