In addition to the following ingredients, you'll need a baking sheet and some aluminium foil.
Butter - 50 grams
Sugar - 50 grams
½ an egg, beaten (Substitution: 1 tablespoon cornstarch)
A dash of vanilla essence (One milliliter should be sufficient.)
Cake Flour - 100 grams
Baking Powder - 1/3 Teaspoon (Optional; see recipe)
Cocoa Powder - 2 Teaspoons
Take the butter from the fridge and allow it to reach room temperature. Don't let it melt, just let it become soft enough to cream.
Flatten the butter in a bowl as best you can, then whisk it until fluffy. Don't use a whisk that's too large or the butter will go through the spaces and you'll have to fish it out with a knife. I really do know this one from experience.
Add half of the sugar and beat it into the butter, then add the other half and beat until creamy. It should change consistency as you beat it.
Add the egg (or cornstarch) a little bit at a time, mixing well.

All pain I will hide
Numbness is what I need
Cold glow in my eyes
... Still remains
I am weak enough to give up.
Yes, pathetic they call me. Yes, such I am for ending this all.
I can still admit my own mistakes, and will stand proud with them as I smile coldly one last time.
I shall not regret anything.
Heart once torn apart
Never will live again
Wings once ripped off
Never will rise again
He refuses to sob
No single tear shed
As heart freezes
His already pale skin
Now turns to white
Yet so cold eyes
Shut will be forever
His clothes so black
Against the white snow
Frigid ice under him
Turns to crimson
He is gone
Yes, the angel has fell
For the one last time.
His last words were found written beside the crimson snow.
I shall not admit pain
Nor despair inside me
I ask forgiveness
But never sorrow
I ask understanding
But never grief
Thou shall not yearn over me...

CAERDWYN'S APPLE-SAUSAGE STUFFING
Good enough to be a main dish all by itself. This recipe is scaled to feed a Thanksgiving or Christmas throng of 8 to 12; feel free to divide everything by 2 (if you do so, cook for 5 minutes less). Prep time: 30 minutes preparation, then 30 minutes of cooking. You can do the prep in advance, and slip the stuffing pan into the oven 30 minutes before meal time.
2 pounds savory sausage (I use Jimmy Dean's Sage Sausage; bulk Italian sausage based on whatever meat your preferences dictate works well too)
4 medium (fist-sized) Fuji or Gala apples - use more apples if they're smaller
6 stalks celery (minus the leaves; about 2 cups once chopped)
1 large sweet onion
12 ounces chopped dried dates
12 ounces dried cranberries
3 6-ounce packages of Caesar-style croutons

This will get long. I still ask you to have a bit time, and read through this. Here is some things to keep in mind, while you are reading this.
- Do you find any solution to these problems?
- Would you like to be my friend still?
- Is there some changes I could make in myself?
- Have you experienced the same? How did you survive? If you didn't, do you need support from a person which is going through the same?
- Is there something you consider as "normal"? I ask you this, because I do not know the lines between what is normal in life and what is not.
I give my word to stay polite here, unless people really start to get cocky or annoy by purpose. I will read your answers calmly. I ask you to answer here, or note me.

I assume situations to be what they are not
I don't choose the right decision often

I forget when to hold my tongue.

Write What You KnowWrite What You Know2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Once upon a time, a young woman was so in love with books that she decided she wanted to become a writer so she, too, could create loveable stories. She read everything she could about writing. Then, one day, she found herself in a book store where she bumped into an old man among the shelves. Turning to apologize, she discovered it was a venerable, much-loved author.
As soon as she could find her voice to speak, she said, "Oh, sir! I know you are very busy, and so I would just like to ask you one small question: what is the best piece of advice you have for a beginning writer?"
The old man smiled and said, "Certainly, young lady. In fact, I will write it down for you." He took out a small slip of paper and a pen and jotted something down. Then he handed the paper to her.
She thanked him profusely and moved out of his way so he could go about his business. Then she looked at the little paper in her hand. She frowned.
"Write what you know."
Well she was very disappointed. In fact, it m
How Not to Tell a StoryAfter being on DeviantArt for a few years now, I've noticed patterns in people's stories. Patterns, that I can't say I've ever seen until I started using the internet. I believe that's because these kind of patterns are thoroughly unprofessional. The pattern in short is this:How Not to Tell a Story2 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
Character = victim
Plot = bad things happening to said victim
Maybe this sounds harsh. It's not if you understand that is ALL there is to these stories. They take any character, hurl them into a tragedy and that's it.
Let's get this straight: We do not know your character well enough to care about them yet. No matter how bloody and gutty their injuries are, no matter how many of their family members are deceased, no matter what their boyfriend did to them, no matter what kind of disease they have, WE. DO. NOT. CARE!!!!!
These kind of things are sad in themselves, but WHO is this person we're supposed to feel so horrible for? Establish THAT. It should be your absolute FIRST priority: no exceptions.

A sole object lit up the dark world. It was the dead of night, and armored men with guns patrolled the area. However, I was drawn to the tent that the soldiers surrounded. Security was more tight inside. They all seemed to circle... a hammer? It was not the type of hammer that people use on nails, but more of the sort that nerds used for their role-playing games.
For some strange reason, it was this hammer that I was being drawn to. I cannot explain precisely why. I simply had the urge to walk towards this direction. All of the steps that I have taken to get here is more than the steps I would take in a week. Honestly, I am not a very active person whatsoever; why are my feet not cramping at this point?
Anyhow, back to the hammer. Why is it sitting handle-up in the dirt, as though it's been stuck there for some time? Are these FBI-esque people guarding it? Now that I thought about it, the entire place seemed to be built around this weapon. Why would I be drawn to something under the wa

I awoke before her this morning
Sitting at the foot of the bed I watch
Her breathing is slow and calming
So angelic she is while in slumber
As I watch her I wonder what it is
What makes my soul cry out for her
Her touch is so warm and gentle
It sends tingles through my body
Raises goosebumps on my skin
And makes my muscles tighten
But that is not why I love her
Her sweet fragrance enchants me
It arouses a deep animal yearning
A hot passionate desire awakens
My hands tremble, my senses heighten
But this too is not why I love her
Her exotic body, her silken skin
They make my heart pound
Igniting a fire deep within me
A raging fire only she can quench
Again I admit this is not why I love her

Though clouds have followed me for so long
Calming my soul and reviving me
But even this is not why I love her

A Simple and Humourous Guide:
Often we find ourselves feeling unhappy, feeling depressed and weepy (some would say whiny), but the truth is that all of us feel undeniably shitty. Therefore, having plenty of experience in this area, I have taken it upon myself to present to you this simple guide.
Righto, you all want to be happy, but none of you are. You've tried several things:
1. Posted a shitty status on Facebook hoping someone will pay attention to you.
2. Cried after no one liked your post because you have no friends.
3. Submitted your post to DA secrets so they could use it.
4. Felt better for about 30 seconds since people faved your secret.
5. If 4 didn't apply, you cried about it some more and then went to Tumblr for the next six hours.
My dear friends, this cycle is not the solution. You are not making yourself feel better, you are making all of our art look worse, especially with step 3! Hence,

How To 'Flesh Out' an OCHow To 'Flesh Out' an OC4 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
The aggregate of features and traits that form the
individual nature of some person or thing.
In this tutorial I will guide you through a way to 'flesh out' an Original Character (Also known as an OC). Before we begin, let's go through the basics.
A character is quite simply one who possesses qualities that define them from someone else. Every character is original and unique. A character can not only be human, but an animal, an alien, or anything that the imagination can come up with.
However, characters are often difficult to create, because to put it bluntly, you are in a sense creating a new being. This being needs the same kinds of traits and characteristics you possess, but can't be your own. They have to be original. In this case, many young writers and artists forget how hard it is to make a character and forget the complex details that enhance a character.
Fleshing out is a term used commonly in developing characters. It means to add additional det
