Lance sat at his desk in the darkness of his small room, staring at the screen of his laptop while his right hand went click on the mouse, flipping from site to site. He was a young teenager with a relatively slim build for his age, Lance's slender face made him seem younger than his nineteen years. With jet-black hair and piercing blue eyes, he was an overall cute and friendly guy. Though Lance was quiet and somewhat shy, he kept to himself most of the time. He was very fond of piercings and he had a couple on his lower lip and two shiny black ear gauges.
After doing a little browsing on a couple of internet sites, Lance went to his deviantart page and did quick search for some decent male vore pictures but to his utter disappointment only found lame female vore pictures. It almost seemed that everything vore on the internet was female related. Male vore was so rare to find while female vore dominated deviantart and Lance found himself disliking his favorite i
Discussion - Giant Humans in the MediaOkay, you guys. This has been on my mind for quite a long time...Discussion - Giant Humans in the Media2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Why aren't there any more pieces of media about giant humans or humanoids?
What has happened to the collective medium that it has cast away giant humans as a plot point? Have they "grown out of it", or are they simply shunning it for whatever reasons?
I can offer up a few arguments, as well as plenty of counterarguments.
1. "Giant human stories are stupid and corny/cheesy!"
Back in an era fearful of nuclear radiation, not knowing its effects on the human race and other creatures, many movies studios were keen on making a quick buck on exploiting this fear, usually through the idea of gigantifying creatures due to such exotic rays. One such radiation-based growth was "The Amazing Colossal Man", A.K.A. Glenn Manning, a human exposed to plutonium radiation that ends up growing to gigantic heights, with his heart and sanity unable to catch up. Other giant human stories of this era were "Attack of the 50 Foot Wo

TIPS AND ADVICEOver the last few weeks I’ve been getting lots of requests for tips and advice. So I thought instead of answering each one I will give an overall guide to what I’ve learnt over the last year using graphite. And some of the things I’m going to say may sound very obvious but I’m trying to cater for artists of all levels so just ignore the bits you already know (I apologise for how long this is).TIPS AND ADVICE1 year ago in Personal More Like This
But before I go on I must point out though, that I am no expert and this is just what I’ve found works for me so may not work for everyone. And I have only really started getting used to using graphite pencils recently, as I had not drawn for 11 years until September 2012. And so I am still learning myself and have only found out what works for me from allot of practising and trial and error. Also I am not going to go into doing skin textures as I’m still learning what works and it’s far too complicated to describe on here.
Firstly you are onl
On dA for 10 yearsI'm happy to have been here for this long.On dA for 10 years1 year ago in Personal More Like This
It doesn't feel that long - but in a few more years I'll have been on this site for half my life. Sheesh!
I've improved so much having an audience to show work to, even if the point of the work wasn't an audience - just having a platform from which I could do anything at all has been really amazing for me over the years.
And then... PMD-e... which has been a really tremendous learning experience for me (and others!), in so many ways. I don't want to turn this journal sappy or anything, but I've been lucky to have met so many people and have gotten the chance to help create a community with its ups and downs.
And... speaking of such...
I'll be making a journal later about the state of PMD-e right now - I know the updates have been sporadic, and this has been for a few reasons. I've been thinking about how to word things for a few days now, and I don't think I've quite gotten it yet.
Anyway, for those of you who've been around since

If you know of any Deviants that violate the rules, report them, and if necessary, send the info Kira-of-deviantART's way. I've seen them on every spammer account I've seen so far, even the ones that joined the very same day [it's not hard to catch spammers after they've spammed]. They've done a very good job at keeping dA as spam-free as possible, so if a Deviant needs banning, inform Kira-of-deviantART. They'll make short work of rule breakers.
I've gotten quite a few people banned lately.

Thank you, deviantART.
For three years, I have been a Deviant,
And none of those three years were wasted here.
And in those three years,
I've met an unimaginable amount of fantastic people,
I've received great amounts of commentary and criticism on my Deviations,
I've found new art styles I'd never thought I'd be any good at,
And much, much more.
I've come to know this site as many things.
But never bad.
Because thanks to this site, I've gotten where I am now.
And it's not just the best website I've ever come to join,
It's also the best community I've ever had the pleasure of becoming a part of.
So thank you, deviantART,
For making me proud to call myself a Deviant.

Nested Stacks in Sta.sh
Organizing your Sta.sh has been made easier than ever! You can now create stacks within stacks in your Sta.sh, giving you even more creative control over your projects!
Stacks are folders in Sta.sh that can be created by dragging one file onto another. When in a stack in your Sta.sh, you can now merge several files to create a sub-stack inside of that stack!

"Grow the Fuck Up" Manifesto
I: the creative, intelligent, self-confident, and eclectic,
...am tired of people using the word "we" as if they knowingly speak for the majority.
Now, reading the GFU Manifesto, I won't say that I entirely disagree. I agree that "part of living in the real world is going to be offensive. And, when we are offended, we are brave enough when sufficiently offended, to peacefully and courteously confront that which offends us and try to resolve it on our own; it is our responsibility as human beings to do so."
However, part of our responsibility as human beings is to accept responsibility for wrongdoings. In this case, that would be submitting works to a website that violate the rules that you agreed to abide by whe

A New Tool to Look for Art TheftI recently installed a new add-on to my Firefox called "Who Stole My Pictures". If you have Firefox and you're interested in installing it, here's the link to the Add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/who-stole-my-pictures/A New Tool to Look for Art Theft1 year ago in Personal More Like This
What it does is add an item to your context menu (menu that pops up when you RIGHT-click on something) called "Who stole my pictures". So when you right-click on one of your images, that menu pops up and you place your cursor over "Who stole my pictures", a new menu pops out and you can choose to look for that image using three different image search engines, TinEye, Google.com and Yandex.ru. I have used the first two before (TinEye can also be installed as an add-on to Firefox), but I had never heard of Yandex.ru. Well, I did a search using Yandex.ru on several of my images and boy, was I surprised!!! One of my images, May Flowers (an oldie, but obviously a goodie) was posted over 3,0000 times on Russian and other inte

But I am quite pleased as out of 92 artists who exhibited at the open art gallery, I was the only one mentioned by name and written about in the local Camden newspaper (its only local). In the actual hardcopy, I was the only artist written about, (she got my surname wrong) and I was also in a group picture.
But on their actual website http://www.hamhigh.co.uk/news/picture_gallery_all_92_artists_in_camden_art_exhibition_gather_for_show_s_last_day_1_2351397 I was also again the only artist who was written about (you may need to tick the survey question to get the full page). Bu

How did the introduction of Jazz, Crazes and popular media influence the American populace during the early 1920s?
