"It's better to have loved and lost,
then to never have loved at all."
I guess that all depends
on how the loss occurred.
Was it something that
eventually faded away
or did it end up turning,
into some form of hate?
"There's a fine line
between love and hate."
There once was a time
when you used to love me,
way back when,
you probably hate me
because we're no longer friends.
But that's fine,
because I kind of despise you too,
for all the pain
you put me though.
"True love will never die
and will always stand the test of time."
I guess the love that I knew,
never really was true,
because if it was,
then it would still be alive.
There would still be a "we"
instead of just you
"Time heals all wounds"
which is a complete lie.
A total bunch of crock
said in love's demise.
Although, it might sting a little less
eventually given some time.
But it will never completely mend
and a part
will always remain
It's just so

Brown hair, brown eyes,
Dreaming that one day she'll touch the skies.
Though she knows deep down it's not possible;
She's too busy poppin' OC's to make herself feel unstoppable.
So she finds herself:
Tracing dragons in the marshmallow smoke with her fingertips
Denying the bittersweet taste on her lips
Because she's trying to keep the monsters at bay
Knowing that one day,
The OCean's gonna rise up and burn her alive;
That these foil-blacked fingertips will betray her, she strives
To keep this memory in the forefront of her mind,
Though she must admit, she was rather blind
When it came to drugs. I mean,
It took her awhile to realize

Under the sun,

Protect your young,

Do not hesitate
Nobody has won,
Too late to go back
Only one track,
Don't reach for that...
Sound of the gun,

Round in a circle,
Shot in the face
From this desolate place
Malevolent clock tower,
A gruesome grave
Everyone will remember,

Teeming with an ocean’s depth
Waves were crashing down your cheeks
Tears you should have never wept
And I heard a sound I’ll not forget
The slamming front door as you left
In shock I waited as tragedy unfurled
Denial settled into the silence of my world
Without a glance or shallow sigh
You left me here with no goodbye
But in my heart there grew an ache
A pain that, most nights, keeps me awake
And now I finally realize
What I saw in those shining eyes
Not the sunset; the sunrise
So this was never a goodbye
This was letting go.
And now I’m coming back.

you just needed your daily fix
What happened to the times when
we just couldn't get enough of each other

how much we longed to be together?

Why can't I have both?'

You see the ways their eyes linger on you
When they're looking around the room
The way their bodies brush yours when you're walking through the hallways to class
The way they stutter and look away when apologizing for the accidental contact of skin to skin
You see it coming from the men.
You never see it coming from me.
God, was the world not complicated enough already
Without causing me to notice the interplay of textures in her hands
The calluses like mahogany mountains carving ridges of stone
Into her palms softer than Impressionistic sunlight?
I'm not supposed to feel this way about another woman. I'm not supposed to sit here
With a star around my neck and daydream about the way her tongue could taste like cinnamon,
Like my grandmother's home, like gingerbread cookies and the dawn of Christmas morning
These words are blasphemy, so I call upon God to give me a reason for my emotions.
Wasn't the world fucked up enough already without this?

Telling me to leave.
To leave behind all I once loved,
All I once knew.
To take a cold, hard blade to my skin.
And though I started walking towards the darkness,
Soon I would walk towards the light.
I couldn't help but think;
I thought of my mother, my brothers, my father,
About my friends and the rest of my family;
And then I thought of my sister.
She went through this too, the whispering breeze beckoned her once too.
But she didn't listen, no, she walked away.
Her skin marred, still she was the most beautiful girl in the world, and I thought,
"Man, I want to be like her."
A blast came, and with it, a wave of thoughts.
About all I could do if I just walked away,
About - if I did go through with this, how others would react.
And a matter of fact,
I would have rather have been smacked.
I didn't want to cause them pain,
But now I see past that.
Now I want to live.
And as I walked away from the darkness,
I felt a burden taken off of me,

Eyes set upon the target,
Because I see no other resolution.
I stretch my arm backward,
Ready to launch the unforgiving weight.
As I pray to God I don't miss
While the other half of me whispers, "Wait."
But time winds down,
So I thrust it forward and the mirror shatters.
I am finally free from myself.
And that's the only thing that matters.

#43) I'm a casual fan, and I'm afraid to dip my foot deeper into the pool of the fandom. A friend of mine is attending a pony convention soon. Should I attend the convention? I'm still not 100% sure about 'bronies'. Thanks!
Answer: I think a convention would be the place to go if you're really into the fandom and wish to spend time with other people who are also really into the fandom. I know several people who have attended pony conventions, and they've given me mixed feedback. Some have really enjoyed themselves, and have met some interesting people. Others have found encounters with other bronies to be unnerving and odd (one got pounced on by a guy in a fur-suit). Therefore, to be on the safe side, you may wish to think twice about visiting a convention.
Then again, you have a mixture of sensible and extreme bronies anywhere you look within the fandom, and so as long as you can handle a bunch of people who you may think are taking it too far, you may also

HAVING RECEIVED HER mission, Lina left the council chambers and made her way back to the Officer's Quarters. Once there, she quickly stripped off her ceremonial armor and placed it neatly upon the armor rack, before taking a seat at the small writing desk that had been provided to her. She took several sheets of parchment from the nearby wooden shelf and dipped her quill in ink, as she quickly drafted a series of standing tactical orders for her troops to follow in her absence. Once these were done, she put them aside and wrote a letter of transfer. This was normally considered a mere formality, but judging by the nature and difficulty of her mission she had to be prepared for the possibility that she would not be returning. As such, the letter of transfer stated that her second-in-command, Knight Luther Aldebrand, would be given full command over her forces. On a personal level, Lina despised the man but she was forced to recognise the fact that he was the n

America led you out to the courtyard. You stumbled and almost fell a few times. He was a pretty fast walker.
You heard England's hard-soled shoes tap along behind you, at a bit slower pace. He was grumbling a bit.
The sunshine warmed your face and you could tell the three of you were out there.
America linked his arm around yours with a grin you couldn't see.
Immediately the loud chatter stop, and you felt all eyes on you.
Your skin crawling, suddenly you regretted agreeing to hang out with America and England.
"Dudes, why'd the party stop?" America laughed and pulled you along.
Then the whispering started.
"Why is that loser girl with Alfred Jones?"
"Ohemgee, look at the faces Arthur is making at her!"
"The two hottest guys in school? With her? All time low."
A few people laughed and you bit your lip, trying hard not to cry.
America pulled his arm away from you, obviously hearing the comments.
England cleared his throat and shoved you out of the way so he could pass

The rest of the day was almost like a dream.
If you dropped into a pool on accident, America was there. If you slipped on a puddle, America was there. If you needed an intertube but couldn't get into it right, America was there. He just loved to play hero with you!
You were pretty sure that you liked him just a teensy bit. Okay, more than that. Normally you would tell him, but you just couldn't sum up the courage to. Why would America, the most popular guy in school, like a loser blind girl like you?
At about seven, right after the four of you finished your burger and fries dinner(the same thing you had for lunch), it was time to leave.
Strolling outside into the warm early fall night, you felt America take your hand and you smiled the tiniest bit. "Thanks for a cool day Al."
"No problemo ______! It wouldn't NEARLY have been as much fun without you!" America laughed.
You heard England's voice behind you. "Hey fatarse, get over here and pay for this lovely young lady."

Neither of them had moved much throughout the night except for their legs which had somehow become entangled with each other's. The palms of his hands were uncomfortably sweaty as they still lay where he left them last. Alfred was still asleep so he took this as his chance to get up before he caught him in the act. He carefully moved his hand off his chest, the sweat acting as glue as he pulled it off. So far so good. He slid his other hand away from his neck. He was in his usual attire, which was his red and blacked shirt, jeans and sneaks. But at least he tried to snazzy up a little big! He put on a black tie, and grinned in the mirror.

He wondered about everything; what she was wearing, what she thought of him, and if she even liked him! The bats jittered in his stomach as he neared the door. Before, he could knock Fionna opened the door! She was the most beautiful thing she ever saw!

That wouldn't keep him up for long, I noted as I watched Stephano angrily struggle with the uncooperative wood.
Stephano pointed to a large red door way on the opposite side of the flooded area, "Run in there!" He shouted at us.
The water monster grew closer and closer with each ticking second and Piggeh sensed that. He leaped before I knew it, hopping from box to box with Cry and PewDie following closely behind us.
I turned and saw Stephano struggling with the monster, holding up the rear, and told Piggeh to move faster. He simply nodded out of breath and leaped faster, reaching the door in no time. Cry and PewDie made it shortly after we did.
I squinted out into the darkness and saw Stephano struggling with the beast, slashing at it with hi
