I wanted to animate very badly, but at the same time, I didn't know what to animate, as usual. I decided to practice facial expressions for the fun of it, and what would be more expressive than one of =Zeurel's characters?! Shrike is my favorite, so I chose him.
Shrike (c) the one and only fantastically amazing =Zeurel This little old thing (c) me :3
With the launch of the Master Chief Collection coinciding with Remembrance Day yesterday, this sequence is more relevant now than it will ever be- so I thought I'd share it with my watchers one last time.
This animation is something I have created with my recent abundance of free time.
It is a Kinetic Typography animation (just like the Monty Python Argument Sketch animation I posted a week or two ago), only this time I have used the end sequence of Halo 3 as my audio track.
I am really happy with how this has turned out, and I believe it is definitely one of my best pieces of animation. I tried to make it as appealing to watch as I could, and put a lot of effort into every aspect, including little side-animations and nice looking graphics. I hope you enjoy.
Time taken: 30 hours-ish. Programs used: Adobe Flash CS5.5 & Adobe Photoshop CS2. Font used: Viper Nora (Free from dafont.com).
Re-uploading some previously deleted work and a DD.
Poster for a past Star Wars gallery show. Planned on doing a big action scene, but instead went with this. If you don't get the joke, it's a cross-over between Samuel L. Jackson's character Mace Windu (Star Wars) and Jules Winnfield (Pulp Fiction).
The poster is a mix between this scene, and Mace Windu's fight with Palpatine where he nearly kills the Sith Lord. Anyways, I like to imagine this is how that scene played out like and ended.
