For the first time in a looong time I was motivated to draw something, though I had no idea what. It was then when I heard about the death of Robin Williams, so I decided to draw him. Coincidentally I wanted to make a TimeLapse recording of me drawing for a long time. With my new smortphone I finally had the tools to give it a try. The first 1-2 were not recorded. It's a tragic death and should be a reminder of how big a blow depression can deal to people. All the more reason to acknowledge it's existence more publicly in a less derogative way.

My character for 3D, semester 2.
His name is Lloyd, and he is a mime.
The weight painting in this is shite (if you don't know what weight painting is, consider yourself very lucky)
So this is him walking, pushing an invisible crate, and then super-jumping (with motion blur!

This is what I've been up to in the last couple of weeks, next to my studies. For those who wanted a longer animation: I hope this is satisfying! There are somethings worth nitpicking, but I'm very happy with the outcome nonetheless - and I hope you share my sentiment This is also my 300th deviation! Yay! And here's the youtube version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4n8SB…
an old pencil test. how long has it been since I animated this I wonder? 1 year? 2? I think that about 2 years old I really changed my technique since then I animated this one straight ahead. and now I use keyframes and inbetweens such fun memories...
I finally get to upload this! I've been wanting to get this up on DA for a long time.
This is a 3D Animated student film, where myself and 4 of my peers created (from scratch) an animation in 10 weeks (it was crazy!)
It's my original story, so I'm pretty proud of that and though it's a year old and there are so many things we would have liked to fix, I'm pretty darn proud of my team for pulling this off in 10 weeks.
