But I hope I haven't been the worst
I hope that you'll remember me
Even when all we know is gone
You'll always be in my mind
I'll never forget all the paths you helped me find
Please forgive my past mistakes
And I'll remember you had none
No matter where you are you'll be here
I'll never forget you, nor your tears
I'll always help you if you only ever asked
No matter how weak you think you are
In my mind you're always stronger
Even if you can't hold on or fight much longer
Then just stay to hear me say my last goodbye
I can't blame you for anything
Please don't have any regrets
You're life is your own to live
But I ask you live it well
I'll always remember the stories you'd tell
But I have one last thing to say
Before I say goodbye
I have to tell you that I love you
Like only a best friend could
So please remember that about me
I hope you give life another chance
Before you think death is what's coming next
That's the way it goes

If I do not say it, I fear I'll go insane.
I have a feeling that I cannot fight
It is eating at my insides
It is playing with my mind.
I really have to say this
Because you have a right to know
I feel this friendship is growing
Into the unknown.
I'm feeling something different
That I wish I knew.
I never knew I could feel this way
And feel this way for you.
I hope you don't get angry
I hope you don't get mad
Because I don't want to lose you
Forever I'd be sad.
I just wanted to let you know
This feeling that continues to grow
That I'm falling for you
Into this world called love.
I hope you aren't upset with me
Because I don't want to lose a friend
But I have this other feeling
Like I would never feel this way again.
So tell me what you are thinking
Yes, I know I'm scared.
But maybe if we hold on together
We can find a love to share.
So tell me what is going on
In that mind of yours
Because I don't want to drive myself crazy

Chapter 4 'Prince Who?'"DERYN!!!!! DERYN!!!!!" Alek's voice rang out in the near silence. His body felt like it had been stepped on by the Stormwalker. Alek could barely move himself, his legs felt like they were broken, but he tried to ignore it, standing weakly to search for her. He had held on for dear life but....
His head was spinning, the ground a mix of colors and directions. He wasn't sure where he as at all. It was dark, the only light coming from the moon and the lanterns from somewhere up ahead.
He had heard it hit the water, the crunch of wood and screech of men and creatures alike. He wanted to go help them, to find Volger and Klopp and see if they had made it out alive. But he couldn't.
In a way the scenario was perfect. Everyone would think he and Deryn were dead, and his whereabouts would remain a secret forever. But he would give himself up right now if it meant saving the lives that were most

Deryn sprinted down the corridor, grabbing the gut hatch and peeked out about what the commotion was. What she saw totally blew her mind.
"Barking spiders," Deryn mumbled in awe as she saw a clanker machine swoop overhead and shoot a row of bullets into the whale's spine. Deryn dropped down the hatch as the aeroplane zoomed overhead almost beheading her.
"Barking persistent are they! Once on the glacier and now on the border of China? What are the clankers now; watchdogs?" Deryn exclaimed, checking first to see if the aeroplane was gone, then pulling herself out onto the spine. She whistled with the scene that met her eyes; there were huge masses of dead bodies strewn all over the Leviathan, both beastie and human. The sight brought tears to Deryn's eyes to see the airship so helpless with the clankers swooping again and again destroying more and more of it each time.
"Bum-rags!" Deryn shouted at them tears spring

By: DolphinBuster starring: Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy
I held in a growl watching Fluttershy panic in fear as she tried another loop. That pegasus is such a scaredy pony. It had been just about the same thing for the past hour or so. I'd demonstrate the trick Fluttershy would try, she'd panic, fall down, and whimper how sorry she was for failing. She's a pony that you can't seem to stay mad at, but she could be really aggravating at times, though.
Seriously though, I shouldn't be complaining. I was the one that had taken a day off weather duty to spend some time with Fluttershy and teach her a trick or two. But all she seemed to learn so far was a half loop, and how to fall without breaking anything.
Fluttershy sat on the ground, shaking her mane to cover her face. She was obviously embarrassed.
"Its okay, Fluttershy. You put in a great effort. It just takes practice." I had to hold back a choke at grea

Deryn stood outside the door for what seemed like an hour knocking, talking softly to him to try and coax him out, but to no avail. He was not in the mood for anything but sitting and brooding.
Bum-rag, Deryn thought. While he was sitting in there, comfy as a bug in a rug, she was out here, desperatly trying to break the akward silence with Lilit. She had offered the girl water, food, rest, but she declined all, choosing to sit in the living quarters, Bovril on her lap.
The blasted creature had been all too elated to see her, running up and down her arm, spitting out random words in it's excitment. She stroked it gently, cooing to it in different languages, Bovril practically purring.
Deryn made herself a sandwish and sat on the chair farthest from Lilit, chewing quietly. The girl was much different than Deryn remebered, and she felt her cheeks get hot when she thought about they're last meeting. When she finished eating, she grabbed her sketch pad

"You didn't come and sleep with me last night," Sasori said in a slight pout.
"I... I was busy and I didn't want to bother you later at night, un. I'm sorry," the blond replied, his eyes a downcast.
The redhead smiled and wrapped his arms around his servants waist. "It's fine, but would you like to sleep with me tonight?"
Deidara smiled and nodded. "Yes, I would," he said, a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Good," Sasori said, as he leaned down to kiss the blond lovingly. Deidara's face heated up even more and he wrapped his arms around his Danna's neck. Deidara was about to take it further, but Sasori pulled away.
"I don't want to get carried away," he said, brushing the back of his hand against the blond's flushed cheek. "Would you like to go to the orchard?" he asked, already wishing he hadn't.
Deidara's eyes went wide with fear and he shook his head. "N-no," he said, his voice shaky.
The redhead nodded and sighed. "I'm sorry, I forgo-"

They were in a bedroom. A huge bed stood against the wall, with scarlet hangings, and lavishly furnished with chairs and bokshelves. Volger gestured for Alek to sit at the small desk to their right. He complied, too tired to stand, and Volger sat across from him.
"Have you any idea where we are?" the man asked, lacing his fingers together and reclining in his chair.
"Not a clue" Alek answered stiffly. "Though I gather its somewhere quite nice."
Volger nodded. "We are at the home of your granduncle, Franz Joseph."
Alek froze. "What do you mean? Why in God's name are we here?"
"He is dying." Volger said simply. "When the German's attacked the Leviathan, I claimed to have captured you, and they brought us here. I must say, he was quite pleased. He gave me this room to stay in as long as I like."
"Well, thats lovely." Alek scoffed. Volger ignored that and c

There was a light tap on the doorframe that for the most part went unnoticed as she craned her neck trying to see past the reflection. "Deryn, shouldn't you be in your bed?" An amused voice drifted from the doorway startling the child.
Deryn turned around with a sheepish grin. She knew she was caught and if she didn't play her cards right, she was going to get in trouble. "But mammy." She whined, letting go of the window's ledge. "I don't want to go to bed."
"Deryn." Her mam warned and looked pointedly at her.
She relented, recognizing that tone and not wanting to risk being scolded before bed. She didn't want her good mood to be ruined. Deryn trudged over to her bed and crawled underneath the comforter. Now that she was in bed, she whined aga

What in barking hell is happening to Alek? Deryn thought.
2 minutes and 30 seconds later
As soon as the tired midshipman came to halt at the door, Deryn pounded as hard as she can.
" Dr. Barlow? Dr. Barlow! Please open up it's me Dylan!"
no response all she could hear was moaning.
Was the doctor in trouble too?
" Please Dr. Barlow! open the damn door!!" Deryn yelled
Deryn had no choice to kick down the door.
She had to put all her might she could kick down the door.
BAM! went the door and she went inside.
Deryn gasped at the scene she saw, and her eyes were big as saucer plates.

There was Dr. Barlow and Count Volger were making out! Volger had his shirt out of his pants and his muscles hanging out. Dr. Barlow's hair was out of the bowler hat and was replaced with messy brown curly hair going which way possible! Deryn felt her stomach turn upside do

The devil’s bridge
Men, women! Children!
Come, come and carefully listen
to this story unfolding
since which many years have gone
When Switzerland was still apart
discontent and lamentations echoed
from mountain and valley
of the Uri people
« Cruel Gotthard blocks our way
the road to splendid Italy »
It was the great vine they wanted
and pay the Holy Father a visit
Alas, the Schöllenen canyon
defied every attempt of bridge-building
Thus, in this hour of need
it was soon decided
to call upon the devil’s force
and carry the heavy risks
Such happened indeed
and the devil agreed
to build the bridge in one night’s time
a bridge strong and fine
As said was done, and before wond’ring eyes
a bridge stood across the river Reuss
But when there was joy, it quickly faded
For the devil awaited his payment
The first one to cross the bridge
his soul must fall into the devil’s grip
But the Uri people, in their wit

felt your presence.
How I used to long for even the tiniest glimpse.
Only to be thrown away and discarded so effortlessly.
I came running back each time.
No matter how severe the wounds,
how harsh the words
that seared and ripped apart my innocence,
and yet I so willingly rushed
back into your awaiting cruel arms each time.
How low do you have to be,
to subject yourself to such cruelty.
How hopeless must one be
to willingly forfeit their heart,
to the unforgiving hands

Twilight was lying in her bed wide awake, staring at the ceiling. The sunlight was creeping into the room behind the thick blue curtains; the light filtering through casted faint shadows on the walls. The mare was going over yesterday's lesson in her head. Instead of ending awkwardly like the one earlier this week, it had just been awkward in general. The lengthy discussions she and the Princess usually had about the books had been diminished into a few words and there had been no "ideas" from Princess Celestia. At least this time Twilight had been prepared for it, though the way she prepared for something like this meant that there was rarely much more she could learn. Luckily studying was something Twilight greatly enjoyed. She also got to spend time with the Princess - something she enjoyed even more, lately more than ever. But no matter how much she loved all this, she hadn't been able to shake the nagging feeling that s

Alek walked along the great air ship that was the Leviathan. His now rubber soles clanked against the metal walkways of the ships spine. The whole crew seemed to be a little on edge whenever he and his men walked about with their "highly flammable" shoes. Until finally to put them all at ease they borrowed some rubber shoes that were necessary if you were to walk along the great ship.

you told me nothing.
Nothing worth knowing, anyway.
Whatever happened? Did you just get bored?
