Our Little Celestia
They say that time heals all wounds. But that's not true. Sometimes, time only causes the wound to fester—to become infected and burn with the fire of loss.
I have told this story at least a hundred times. And every time is like opening the wound afresh and pouring salt into it. So now, I write it down on paper so that those who wish to hear the tale may read of it. For I will never tell this story again.
It was the year 1903, and dust roared across the vast farm fields of Missouri. In those days, I was the head of a small family owned farm in a rural community. The summer h
My Little Rants: Princess CelestiaPrincess Celestia is the benevolent co-ruler of Equestria, ruling alongside her younger sister, Princess Luna. She is shown to be kind and caring, and would do anything to protect her subjects. She also isn't your typical princess, as she occasionally loves playing pranks. My Little Rants: Princess Celestia4 months ago in Personal More Like This
How is she depicted by the fans, though? She's a "tyrant", and a "molester", and a "troll". I must've been watching the wrong show, then. Because I don't remember her acting like any of these things. Really, the closest thing she came to "trolling" was in A Bird in the Hoof, and even then it was only one scene and only in good fun. Her subjects were getting tense out of fear in upsetting their princess and she just wanted to lighten the mood. Just because she's a princess doesn't mean she can't have a bit of fun every now and then.
She did not banish Luna to the moon for 1000 years, she banished Nightmare Moon. She and Luna may have shared the same body, but it was Nightmare who was in ful

Mending a Broken Rainbow- Chapter One- Happily Ever After
This is a fanfiction for My Little Pony- Friendship is Magic. It is a romance story between Rainbow Dash and Applejac, and is sequel to my story 'Following a Rainbow'. If you have not read the prequel, please go do so now before beginning this story. The link to 'Following a Rainbow- Chapter One' is in the discription below. Otherwise; enjoy!
It was a perfect day in Ponyville. The sky; a vibrant ocean blue, free of any clouds. The air; crisp and full of excitement. The grass; the same shade of lush green no matter what side of the road you were on. In light of the recent events that had taken place in their lives, Applejack and Rainbow were more than happy to take the day off, and to spend it together.
"So, Dashie," Applejack spoke, having to raise her voice to be heard above the busy chatter of Sugarcube corner. The store was filled with ponies, young and old, searching for sugary treats to enjoy in the
Regrets of a PrincessTo those who did not know her, Celestia was the very embodiment of calm and collected. And even those who considered themselves close to her would never think of her as the kind of mare who'd have any weight in her heart. But this was not so. Perhaps it was to keep the ponies in her realm at ease, or perhaps it was out of some inherent dislike of being pitied, but regardless, the Princess of the sun did indeed have worries in her life, though she would never speak of them. Her mind would often be plagued with doubts and second-guesses about the choices she'd made in her life, but today, none was more prominent in her thoughts than her choice of apprentice.Regrets of a Princess1 year ago in General Fiction More Like This
It had been mere months since it had happened, and still she had a hard time coping. They day she'd witnessed that young filly was unlike anything she'd seen. Twilight Sparkle, a young hopeful attempting to enter Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, had been struggling with her examination. For whatever reason, the young girl had s
Celestia's LossAs she gazed upon the letter in front of her, she couldn't help but smile. Celestia, Princess of the sun and co-ruler of Equestria, was sitting quietly in her chambers, near to a roaring fire, reading the latest letter that her former student, Twilight Sparkle, had sent to her. As a Princess herself, Twilight was no longer required to send her letters as he had so frequently done in the past. Still, Celestia couldn't blame her for wanting to continue the practice, as she too looked forward to reading the correspondence from the young alicorn now just as much as she did when she was her student.Celestia's Loss1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
This letter, however, was not on some friendship lesson Twilight had learned, but on her latest journey into the Everfree Forest. Celestia had suggested she go there, specifically to her and Luna's old castle, to try and find whatever books she could find regarding the strange box given to them by the tree of harmony. Although Twilight was unsuccessful in that task, she had found something else

My sister's Night Court was just beginning. The sun had been set and the moon raised. I thank Mother and Father I have Lulu back for many reasons, including that I don't have to function on catnaps as Princess of both the Day and Night anymore. I don't physically need to sleep, but it still does wonders for my sanity. Just as a settled in to read Twilight's latest friendship letter, a knock came on my door. "Hmm, now who could that be?"
As I open the door, I am greeted, for the second time at such a late hour of the day, by my pupil. Only this time, she does not appear to be in a tizzy over discovering horrifying secrets no mortal should be forced to know from a book which shouldn't even exist, only somewhat confused, uneasy.
"Why, hello My Faithful Student," I reply. "I didn't expect to have you visit me ag

My little Dashie: Reader's CutIt was three days after her sonic rainboom. I had kept her inside during those days, I wanted to be extra safe no one noticed her, even if it was unlikely someone would ever wander anywhere near this block. But I wasn't taking any chances for Dashie. Plus, we entertained ourselves with the celebrations, and the explanations. My little Dashie: Reader's Cut3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Now here we were, at the usual park, on a cloudy day, with Dashie flying softly by my side, sporting her brand-new cloud-and-rainbow-thunder-bolt cutie mark. I was so proud.
She spoke first when we arrived there, "Hey! I noticed something when I went so high in the sky last time, can I go up there again? Please?"
I gave her a questioning look. What could she possibly have to do up there? She seemed resolute enough in her desire though.
"Well, okay, but please let's not make a habit out of..."
"Okay." And she was off, leaving just a rainbow blur behind.
I followed her contrail with my gaze. She was going straight up, higher and higher... until she disappeared

--A few weeks before the events of Equestria Girls--
Shining Armor is outside of the Crystal palace. He stands in front of a line of fresh new recruits for the Crystal Guards. As Prince of the empire and the head of its royal guard he had to train the new recruits. As he marched down the line, he approached each new recruit asking them one question. He first approached a tall blue unicorn stallion.
“WHY ARE YOU HERE PRIVATE SWIFT BLADE!?!?!” Shining yelled in his face.
“SIR! TO KILL SIR!” Swift-Blade responded.
“WHY ARE YOU HERE PRIVATE BUTCHER KNIFE?!?!” Shining continued now facing a slim black earth pony stallion.
“SIR TO PROTECT THE PRINCESSES SIR!!” Butcher-Blade responded.
Then Shining Armor approached an orange pegasus with a blue mane.
“WHY ARE YOU HERE PRIVATE FLASH SENTRY!!?!?!!?!”
“SIR TO BANG YOUR SISTER SIR!!!” Flash said in a clear disciplined to

A Brother's FuryHe was marching down the main hall of the Canterlot Royal Palace with fierce intent in his eyes. Shining Armour, a respected unicorn of the royal guard, and, more importantly, their Captain. Many of the guards posted in the halls saluted to him as he passed, but they knew instantly that something was wrong. Normally, he'd salute them back, but not today. For today, he bore an expression on his face that made it clear to all that something important was on his mind. This was also reflected in his movement, as his marching was more driven, more hasty, than usual.A Brother's Fury1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
But he had every reason to be like this. Because, not too long ago, he'd been made privy to a very important piece of information regarding Princess Celestia. Normally, the stallion would not have concerned himself with the personal matters of the Princess, but this time was different, for the matter in question also involved somepony very close to him. This had struck very close to him and, as such, he'd taken matters into his

Canterlot. The great capital of Equestria. For years, it has served as the very heart of our people and our nation. A place where men and women of all walks of life, and from every corner of the land, can gather together in harmony and mutual respect. A place that, for years, has served as the centre for all magical learning and training. A place led directly by the great Princesses themselves. A place that any true person of Equestria would give their right hand to be a part of. Yes, this city truly was a wonder, a marvel.
And at this very moment, also a place of utter boredom.
I don't know what I was expecting really. Ever since I joined the royal guard, I, like many young men and women my age, was always imagining a life of action, of excitement. After all, they only accepted the most dedicated, the most skillful people into this line of work. A role of protecting not only the great royal palace of Canterlot, but also the Princesses themselves. Any reasonable-minded person would exp
