Our Little Celestia
They say that time heals all wounds. But that's not true. Sometimes, time only causes the wound to fester—to become infected and burn with the fire of loss.
I have told this story at least a hundred times. And every time is like opening the wound afresh and pouring salt into it. So now, I write it down on paper so that those who wish to hear the tale may read of it. For I will never tell this story again.
It was the year 1903, and dust roared across the vast farm fields of Missouri. In those days, I was the head of a small family owned farm in a rural community. The summer h
My little Dashie: Reader's CutIt was three days after her sonic rainboom. I had kept her inside during those days, I wanted to be extra safe no one noticed her, even if it was unlikely someone would ever wander anywhere near this block. But I wasn't taking any chances for Dashie. Plus, we entertained ourselves with the celebrations, and the explanations. My little Dashie: Reader's Cut4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Now here we were, at the usual park, on a cloudy day, with Dashie flying softly by my side, sporting her brand-new cloud-and-rainbow-thunder-bolt cutie mark. I was so proud.
She spoke first when we arrived there, "Hey! I noticed something when I went so high in the sky last time, can I go up there again? Please?"
I gave her a questioning look. What could she possibly have to do up there? She seemed resolute enough in her desire though.
"Well, okay, but please let's not make a habit out of..."
"Okay." And she was off, leaving just a rainbow blur behind.
I followed her contrail with my gaze. She was going straight up, higher and higher... until she disappeared

It was a perfect day in Ponyville. The sky; a vibrant ocean blue, free of any clouds. The air; crisp and full of excitement. The grass; the same shade of lush green no matter what side of the road you were on. In light of the recent events that had taken place in their lives, Applejack and Rainbow were more than happy to take the day off, and to spend it together.
"So, Dashie," Applejack spoke, having to raise her voice to be heard above the busy chatter of Sugarcube corner. The store was filled with ponies, young and old, searching for sugary treats to enjoy in the

"Dash! C'mon, ya' can't stay cooped up there forever!"
The winds of Equestria were crisp and fine this particular morning, and most residental towns were out and about, doing daily chores, shopping, mingling, ect.
This was all but the case for a particularly lonely pony.
" Dash, please! " Somepony pleaded from the ground.
Somewhere in the outskirts of ponyville a cloud home, or more accurately, a mini fortress, sat gloriously in the airspace. The only resident of the home, Rainbow Dash, was going through a self-induced depression, locking herself from everybody, including HER.
She lay on her bed of cloud, incapable of removing herself from a fetal position. Her tears starting to darken the 'material' as it was absorbed into the structure.
It had all started with that damned mare Applejack...
Pinkie Pie Discovers CoffeeThe hallway to the second floor of the Sugar Cube Corner was quiet, almost eerily so. There wasn't a noise to be heard, despite how there were two newborn foals and a notoriously hyper pink pony in one of the bedrooms.Pinkie Pie Discovers Coffee3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
As the Cakes came upstairs, it was music to their ears that there wasn't any commotion so far. They opened the door to the twins' bedroom, to catch them asleep in their crib with Pinkie Pie standing watch over them, looking a little sleepy herself. She perked up when she saw their parents come in, and shut the door behind her.
"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Cake!" Pinkie Pie whispered. "I thought you were going to be gone a lot longer. You said you wouldn't be back until 3, but now it's only 2:15! Did the ponies in the baking contest not like you two?"
"Oh dear, no," Mrs. Cake responded. "They thought we were wonderful judges, but it wasn't as long as we thought it would be."
"But that's not the best part," said Mr. Cake. "We came home to tell you that we finally got the catalog!"
