So it's been a while since I've uploaded anything and this is why. I have been working on this scultpure for far too long!
This is my draenei priest Lourdes, it's a kind of a tribute/farewell piece as I haven't played WoW for quite some time. It's also the first time I've tried a humanoid figure and clothing and man, did I learn a lot! I'm just glad it's done now. Phew.
The outfit is kind of based on the Raiments of the Divine, a robe I was after for ages and never got Typical. The staff is just a green one from somewhere in the game. I was going to make Benediction but I figured I had enough on my plate already.
Made from Super Sculpey and Sculpey Firm, with weak areas reinforced with Apoxie Sculpt. Painted with acrylics.
Just felt like busting out my watercolors again, since I bought a new, better scanner a month or two ago and haven't used it much. I love messing with this media, though most of what I do are headshots and such haaa~
Up top is my priest Salvatori, he was done mostly in watercolor pencils which I've found tend to be lighter and require a lot of layering to get really deep, rich tones. More control, but they're slower.
Down bottom is my highwayman Carrefour who I started out in watercolor pencils, but got impatient and just busted out my straight pigment instead and started painting, with some pencilwork to tighten him up at the end.
