The melody of lifeOnce there was an old woman who lived deep in the woods. All alone, she eked out a living deep in the woods, growing her own food and helping travelers who cam by her house now and then for advice and herbs. She was a kindly soul who never refused even the meanest of souls that happened by her house. The melody of life2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
And so, one day a curious traveler who had happened across her home asked her, "Why do you live all the way out here? Is it not dangerous to live alone so deep in these dangerous woods?" He stared at her with curious eyes as she contemplated how to answer the child before her. Her answer instead came in a riddle, "What is nature? What is Life? and what do these two things have in common?" she asked him. He thought about it and said, "Survival?"
She just shook her head smiling. "No, though it was a good answer. Stay here for a night and maybe you will know the true answer. Though you must help me ready the house up for a guest." She said as she tended her garden. And so he stayed, helping h

But she wasn't the aloof trainer that people thought she was. But what many of her admirers and fans didn't know was that in her spare time, she liked to do research into various Pokemon, ancient civilizations and mysterious powers that she found fascinating.
This is the story of how the Champion became a superheroine.
One day as she was traveling, she stopped in Eterna City to take a quick break. She had been investigating some rumors about Team Galactic having some sort of distribution plant or warehouse and she'd been meaning to try and shut them down secretly. When she arrived at the local Pokemon center, the Nurse Joy handed her a letter, said it was from an old friend of hers.

The line extended down the stairs, past the gates, and so far around the block that museum receptionists put up velvet rope dividers to twist the queue. They looked worn but not uncontent. It was worse two weeks ago when the exhibit was first announced. The crowds subdued them into complacent servicers while the ordeal hardened them into guest-desk Spartans. They were merely grateful now.
Newspapers passed between waiting strangers. Headlines read "All of Britain on Pilgrimage!" or "England's Greatest Treasures Unveiled!" Great Russell Street was littered with the spent pages. But instead of the staff, officers of the met greeted the anticipating masses with dismissal this morning. There were a few minutes of hullabaloo, then a few more of irritation, and finally of exodus. For the first time in half a month, the entrance of the British Muse

Shyvana woke up in unfamiliar surroundings her head resting on something hard and warm, lifting her head slightly she noticed that she wasn't on the floor and yet was on something just as hard. Tilting her head upwards nothing could have prepared her for when she found out that she was sleeping on the crown prince Jarvan. Her face was so red that a tomato would have been envious; her fidgeting must have woken Jarvan because he had the exact same result. Shyvana quickly jumped off him and hurried off into the bathroom to cool off while leaving Jarvan was very red in the face.
Whilst Shyvana was trying to regain her cool Jarvan went back to examining the armor that Shyvana had recived, the sun was shining upon it and caused a very dramatic effect with scales made of bronze and silver with golden linings. Jarvan instantly took note that this armor could not have been made unless the maker was the famous Blomgrun! The blacksmith that crafted his crow

When Shyvana stirred the first thing she noticed was the amount of white she could see, wincing from the brightness of the lights she looked around before sitting up. She discovered it was a bad idea due to the sharp pain that exploded from her forehead she flinched when she heard a gasp, putting her hands above her head to block any incoming blows or attacks.
A startled voiced exclaimed "You shouldn't be up yet!" Shyvana then discovered that it was actually a nurse. "Sweetie could you please wait for a few more minutes?"
Shyvana nodded although unsure why she was told to wait. After a few moments a beautiful blue haired woman came into her view, she had her hairs in pigtails and were bound by golden bands. She had a midnight blue dress that hugged her curvy body and her sleeves were not connected to the dress. Her sleeves were a teal color looking like a coat having multiple paths down to the ground. Shyvana P.O.V (Point of view)
Even in sleep her dreams were haunted by possibilities of how her mother died or how the rest of the villagers faired. It seemed that most of the mothers and children had survived the attack, the men that survived were either wounded or were missing a limb, and the children had nothing but scratches on them. The men had decided to clean up the bodies of the dead and buried them (If they hadn't been devoured) for the honor of those that died, Shyvana felt like she had been in a stampede of water buffalo. She felt dead inside. Her face traced with no emotion. When kids her age came by and asked if she wanted to play she looked at them in shock, they were thinking of playing when the village was just about being destroyed?
She shook with rage when they kept poking her about it, she finally snapped and was about to rant on about how this wasn't the time to be playing around when the adults called that it was time for a v

Rainbow came up behind Fluttershy and wrapped her arms around the shy girl. Fluttershy glanced around nervously, turning around to face Rainbow, who responded by pulling her in for a passionate kiss. After that, she couldn't complain. There was something about the way that their lips fit together so perfectly, and how Rainbow's always had the faintest hint of bubblegum, as she was often chewing. Rainbow pulled away after a moment, a playful smile on her face.
"What, afraid we'll get caught?" she teased. When the other girl didn't reply, her smile faded.
"It's not that I'm ashamed to be with you," Fluttershy tried to explain. "But I don't want anyone to treat us differently."
"There's nothing wrong with us 'Shy," Rainbow insisted yet again, pulling her into her embrace and holding her close. "We are who we are. If our friends really care about us, they'll accept that we want to be with each other."

The bespectacled, black-haired boy nodded and uttered a quick goodbye before turning off his XTransciever. She must have pushing herself hard, he told himself. She'd never left the small town they grew up in before, so she must have been eager to see it all. Still, it surprised him.
Bianca hadn't seemed to change much physically. But all in all, to the core, she was still the same bright, smiling girl he knew. Walking along through the desert, the thought of seeing her again gav

So how may I know of your secret, do tell me?

Because the light won't let me.
You have not kindness in your inherited temper.
So how can you give away so much?
When all you have is love.

“It’s alright. I am here now. Everything’s going to be ok.” Is what she said, and what “he” last recalled. A man opened his eyes. He found himself lying down in a warm bed, covered by a blanked. He turned his head right, where expensive luxury ornaments resided. Four white Lionbreathe flowers placed in a pot, facing opposite directions. He lifted his head, followed by the upper half of his body, causing the blanked to fall off him. He looked down, his right hand had been severely crippled and bandaged, strapped to his neck. It hurt him. He also could not feel his legs. The man removed the blanked and placed his feet out of bed. He looked through the room. On the walls, there were several pictures of accomplished individuals, most of them showing their greatness. On a table was the golden side of a crowns front. You would place it on your face not your head. Along the crown were several fruits and pots with water in case he shou

The Flower Shop of Dreams
_____Day 1: Noon_____
Well I figure since my sister woke me up, why not wake up? So I do, very slowly, by grabbing the towel from the drawer and go off to the shower. I yawn and over hear a conversation.
"Did you hear? A flower shop is in town now," Mom says.
"Really?! Cool, can we go there soon?" Kotomi says with excitement.
"Sure, we can. Later this week okay."
Ha, Kotomi as bright as ever. Maybe happiness sunshine hit her today. I open the bathroom door.
The routine as usual: brush, shower, go. No more than 15 minutes, I wonder why women take a while in the bathroom How would a male know?
I grab the towel and dry myself. Moving the shower curtain away and walk out of the bath tub. Dry the feet on the rug and open the door.
Reaching to open the door, the sounds of voices seep inside the crevices of the door. Ignoring the voice I grab the handle and turn. Open and astonishment appears.
"Huh?!" a soft voice says.
