As soon as he could get away from the old man that pulled him away from the fight, Bruce ran to his car and grabbed the bag he kept his gear in and rushed to change. Meanwhile, Waylon was battling two large plants that were putting up a good fight while Pamela stayed safely back, holding a small plant in her hand, hidden inside her purse.
Being taller than him, the two plants had an easy job of keeping him at bay, attacking and retreating, but other than keeping the large teenager at bay, there was not much else they could do against the raging mutant.
"This is how you treat me after all we've been through?" he asked and knocked one of the plants out of the ground.
"All we've been through? Do you listen to yourself? All you care about was that I gorgeous, you didn't care about anything I was interested in! At least Bruce takes an interest in me beyond my looks!"
"What's wrong with likin' you for your looks? You show'm off plenty."
"You take that back you... sewer lizard!"

That night, after a few more hours of work, Bruce finally spread out the completed version of what he was turning the memory cloth into. He looked at it with a proud smile, the familiar shape would soon help him to...
"Master Bruce?" he heard Alfred as he walked up the steps to the attic so he scrambled to hide the cloth. "Are you in here?"
"Uh, yeah, Alfred. What is it?"
"Honestly, Master Bruce, it is one o'clock. Don't you think it's about time you went to bed?"
"What were you doing this late?"
"Um... school project. It's due in a few days."
"If I can assist you in any way..." Alfred said walking to the table Bruce had been working at.
"No! It's... sensitive stuff and boring, you know, high school stuff."
"I see. Well, off to bed now."
The next morning, Bruce was just as tired as the day before and could barely keep his eyes open in class. Thankfully, whenever she saw him close his eyes for too long, Barbara would poke him in the ribs with a pencil to wake him up. By lunch time, he

"Yes, Coach!" he called back and got back to climbing.
But when he got back down the coach looked displeased with his performance.
"Listen here, Wayne. I have an eye for athletes and by the looks of you, you're holding back. What're you afraid of, you 'll stand out?"
"Something like that "
"Well tough, I want new blood on my football team and you're trying out tomorrow or else," the man said walking away.
Seeing how Wayde was one of the players on the team, Bruce was reluctant to show up for tryouts. In an underground laboratory, Wayde was lying on a bed, his wrists and ankles were shackled with large metal restraints and there was a large metal arm with a myriad of equipment attached to it, among them a few syringes connected to thin tubes that went up the arm and through the wall. On his left was a large window leading to another room in which an old man in a lab coat was looking over several indicators. Next to him stood Eduard who looked pleased for some reason.
"Hey Ed... remind me why I'm doin this..." Wayde said nervously.
"To get back at the Batman, you dim-witted oaf. Now stop behaving like a spineless gecko and calm down."
"I just... I don't like needles!"
"Then perhaps it would comfort you, Mr Jones, to know that when I'm done with you, no needle will ever hurt you again," the man in the lab coat said checking his vitals.
"I swear it on my medical licence," the other replied and pushed a few buttons that lowered the mechanical arm towards Wayde.
Gotham High 1Morning, the sun was just starting to shine on Wayne manor, it's rays barely lighting up a messy room filled with crumpled papers of schematics and calculations, clothes thrown all over the place including the bed where a young man with dark hair was sleeping. The door opened and an elderly man dressed in a neat suit walked in with a tray. He took one look at the room and frowned then walked over to the table and placed the tray on an empty corner then went to the window and threw the curtains open, waking up the teenager in an instant who groaned and turned his back on the sun.Gotham High 15 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

It was the second body in two days.
Halloween was only a few days away. This was always a hectic time of year... the police were already running pretty thin...
Murder, unfortunately, was not an unusual occurrence in Gotham City. What with all the super villains running around town, along with the everyday criminals. But every once in a while, one of these cases show up...
A serial killer was on the loose.
This was the second body.
The two bodies shared nothing in common in the way they died. The last body had been burned to a crisp, while they were still alive. The body that lay before Kimberly Cross, however was completely intact.
The people murdered were completely different as well. The body they'd found yesterday, they discovered after checking her dentals, was a young woman named Holly Shore. The body in front of Kim was not an young, attractive woman, but a middle aged, overweight man.
Despite this, the bodies did share something in common; a mask.

Dr Strange was right, he had to face his fear. Wearing a full gear, even though it was a bit loose for him and he had to adjust it carefully, Bruce tied the rope to a tree then went to the old well on the estate. The light did not penetrate more than a few feet inside but he still climbed on the edge then slowly lowered himself in. After a while he had to turn on the flashlight attached to his helmet to see, every little sound seemed amplified in the dark, damp tunnel. In less than ten minutes he reached the bottom, ending up in part of a cave complex. He was a bit nervous and kept looking from left to right but because of the flashlight he disturbed an entire colony of bats that flew off the walls and surrounded him, turning into a flurry of black, leathery shapes. Bruce's first instinct was to duck but he tripped on the rope and fell, his helmet went flying into a rock, the flashlight breaking on impact. He was left alone in the dark but slowly he noticed there was light after all,

Joseph Kane awoke to a ringing headache in a cavernous chamber, a lot like a church. In fact it was very like a medieval church, with the creepiest stone statues and stained glass you'd ever see. Horrific scenes of torture and damnation, figures of lecherous couples and doomed individuals. And right in front of him, above a pair of mighty oak doors, stood a stone wheel. Around the figure of the wheel were allegorical figures of sin and virtue, pleasure and wisdom, war and peace, life and death. In the center of the wheel stood the stone figure of a woman in a crown and robes; half her face a beautiful young woman; the other a skull. Supporting the wheel were the figures of an angel on top, and a devil on the bottom. A control wheel made of wood and steel stood in front of it.
This is like a church Two-Face would love! Even has his favorite idea: fate. Joseph felt dried blood on his face, his clothes were torn and messed up. He remembered being attacked, chaos,

Half of it was flying every which direction, while the other half seemed to attack her face every time she moved her head. She wore a simple night-gown, nothing more than a very long cotton shirt. It covered everything and was incredibly loose, making her look like a heap of linens with a head sticking out. But it was comfortable, and Jezel had a need for comfort tonight.
