Lies: Western Dragon TFUnlike my other stories, this one is like a prequel in late fall. November 28th, to be exact.
Eli was walking down his street to get some "groceries." At least that was what he said. He was going over to a friend's party without telling his parents the truth.
So at the party, He met all his friends: Cole, Garette, Liam, Jade, Grey, and the others. Grey had ordered them all Chinese for dinner. Grey brought it back as soon as Eli got there.
After the meal, each of them took up a fortune cookie. Everyone's was strange, but they all kept their secrets to themselves. Grey was the kind of personn who belived in superstitious mumbo-jumbo, so he told the group that if they kept the fortunes to themselves, they would come true.
Grey didn't realize he was right.
Eli's fortune was, "The error of your ways will change everyone around you." The lucky numbers were not lucky at all. All multiples of 6.
"Hey, I gotta get goin'. My parents don't know I'm here." And with that everyone said goodbye to El

Man to Dragon TF
Chriss alarm clock rang, waking him up. It was Chriss 21st birthday today, but he wasnt excited or happy. Chris had no family or friends to share his birthday with. His life was a mess. He had a low paying job, and he was close to being kicked out of the house he was renting.
He got slowly out of bed and got dressed. Chris walked down the cold empty hall to the kitchen to have some breakfast.
Just when he was about to open the fridges door, his doorbell rang.
I wonder who it could be... Chris thought as he opened the door.
There was no one in sight, but whoever did ring the doorbell left a colourful present for him.
How nice, he said to himself, wondering who would leave a present for him.
Chris went back inside, closing the door behind him.
He sat on his half chewed second hand couch, and slowly opened the present.
Inside was a chocolate cake with bright red icing. In black icing, there were the words
Whispers in the WindThe boy shivered. He walked along the path slowly, the crunching of snow the only thing he could hear, aside from the occasional whistling of the winds through the trees. He took off one of his gloves and blew warm breath into the hand, before putting the glove back on with shaking hands. His thick, Kevlar-lined jacket was the only consolation to him from the harsh, cold winds, as the sun was setting in the distance, and it was already more than cold.Whispers in the Wind3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
He was a soldier, well, a few hours ago, at least. The dog tags draped around his neck and the rifle slung near his abdomen were more than enough proof. But, soldier or no soldier, he was a frightened, freezing child in this forest. And the weapon he had may be able to kill the enemy, kill any beasts, but there were things it could not kill- His fear. That, and the cold. And, most of all- his paranoia. He heard things, out in the forest- bad things. Sometimes he'd mistake the harsh wind for a rocket scream. There would be whispers through
The Spring“Man, this is boring.” Daniel muttered, tugging at his backpack straps and adjusting it a little. The forest trail that he was walking along bore no point of particular interest, apart from the thousands of trees and other samples of greenery that smothered his view. He could’ve been at home now, playing video games or maybe taking a stab at some of his art, but nooo, he was out here hiking along some stupid trail because his parents thought it would’ve been a good idea to drag him out for some fresh air.The Spring7 months ago in Short Stories More Like This
The trail along the mountainside was, apart from being very boring, also damp and muddy, for it had rained the night before, softening the ground below him and reducing it to a brownish mulch that would probably stain his clothes, were he to fall. Trailing his parent’s careful steps along the path, he sighed again, looking to the sky for some sort of divine intervention that would save him from the torment of boredom.
The hike trailed out far and long, up
Alive InsideA knight in training, seventeen year old Merek rode through the countryside on horseback. His master, and captain of the king’s knights, Lea the Fierce, had presented him with a quest, one that Lea stated that if were to complete would allow him into knighthood: a dragon had taken shelter in a cave in the countryside and Merek was tasked to kill it. Despite what seemed like a golden opportunity, something didn’t sit right with Merek. Why would his master send him, a knight in training, to slay a dragon? Never in the past was he given this opportunity. Not only that but to send him to do this on his own? There had to be something his master wasn’t telling him. He pondered what it could possibly be.Alive Inside9 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

Monty stepped through the gate out of his yard, to find a middle-aged Hispanic man warming up a grill.
"How are you not hot?" he said, and took a swig of his beer.
"'Hi Hector, how are you doin'?" said the chef sardonically. "'Mind if I join your little barbecue?' 'Oh, no problem, neighbour. Did you bring any chips or anything?'"
Monty stepped back through the connecting gate, reached down, and returned with a cooler. "Yep," said he, with a grin. "Or anything."
After much consideration, Hector decided to forgive his neighbour. Perhaps the addition of a cold bottle of Budweiser helped too.
"Where's Flo?" enquired Monty.
"She ran to the store. We are out of buns."
"How long do you expect her to take?"
The older man raised a sardonic eyebrow. "Have you ever tried to buy stuff on July 4th?"
"No, I get all my shopping done ahead of time. Beer, ice..." Monty considered a moment. "That's p
Factory DefectsAfter a year of delays and red tape, my air rifle had finally arrived. I had received a phone call in the morning from the staff at the range informing me that it had arrived. All I had to do was to clear some paperwork, and it would be mine. Of course, the rifle would have to stay in the range or armoury. Upon receiving the news, I had hopped onto the bus, and made my way to the range. I had waited a year for the rifle, and was eager to try the gun out.
When I reached the range, I was greeted by a stern-faced policeman.
"Sir, are you the owner of this gun?" He asked, as he took out a clipboard.
"What's the serial number?" I asked, not wanting to lay claim to someone else's weapon. I had been given the serial number beforehand by my coach.
He then rattled off the serial number, confirming that the gun was indeed mine. I signed on the form, and he stepped aside, handing me the weapon that was in its case. I then proceeded to clear the rest o

Amongst the bustling streets of Philadelphia, Eric Venia walked with his hands in his brown coat, purposely avoiding the Christmas-spirited carolers and fraudulent Santas as he walked by. The snow fell softly to the ground as a slight breeze stung his face in the loaded streets. Most of the crowds were enthralled with the Christmas spirit. Eric, however, was not. The people amassed throngs that were thick and difficult to pass through, unless someone was to slip down the dark alleyways between the old red brick buildings. Eric did so, knowing he was heading for trouble making shortcuts through the one way streets. As it turned out, if he wouldn't have bad luck, he would have no luck at all. Four burly men crawled out from behind the dumpsters. He looked behind him for an escape, but two more men appeared from the trash he had walked past, foolishly obliviou

I opened my eyes to the world around me. There wasn’t very much to look at in the first place, considering that it was already nothing but pitch black, but it was something. Fumbling around the dark, hard interior of what seemed to be a holding cell I groped the floor and crawled forward, getting a feel of where I was. For one, it was a concrete floor, judging by the texture of the material below me, and with a few more centimetres of blind crawling, I bumped into a wall. I turned the other way and found that wherever I was, it must have been a pretty small area because it didn’t take long for me to hit the opposite wall.
I crawled up to another wall and sat there. Again, where was I? The interior of this dark prison smelled of antiseptic, akin to a hospital, yet without any source of illumination, I could hardly tell if it was a hospital or not. My gut feeling told me that where I currently was currently in anything but a hospital, bu

Smoke filled my nostrils as I took a deep breath and looked around at the halfway burnt down town. My sword swung idly from my side as I strolled into the inn; inside soot covered villagers were yelling about a dragon destroying their town and what they should do about it. The town's elder rubbed his wrinkled forehead and finally stood saying
"Please good people please silence," and everyone did; so he continued "It is obvious that we have two options one beg the queen to forfeit some knights to our cause or two we pack and leave."
Again chaos broke loose as the villagers heard what they thought was their only options. I pushed my way to the head of the crowd and jumped up onto the stage that the elder was sitting upon.
"OR YOU HAVE OPTION THREE," I yelled and everyone stopped to look at me. I felt pride rush through me as I stood tall in my dragon skin boots, gauntlets, tunic, and shield.
The elder looked at me and finally signaled for silence "Who are you m

Cool water dripped from the hanging stalagmites on the rounded ceiling, and the thick scent of mildew was strong in the air. Drake squinted at the yellowed paper map that was supposedly written with directions to a special treasure hidden within the cave. As he was about to start rereading it, a crashing sound was heard, along with the noise of nails clicking on the smooth stone ground. Drake panicked, and stuffed the extra batteries into the flashlight. He clicked it back on and shone the path in front of him.

Random dragon TFOur story begins with an average Joe who, incidentally, was named Joe. Joe did justice to the stereotype of your everyday nonchalant guy. He was 6,4 foot high, had brown tinted black hair ( which was combed back ), a fit but not extravagant build and dully iridescent grey eyes. He preferred comfort over fashion when clothes were concerned and thus his friends and family would consider his apparel blunt, efficient and crisp ( ties and sleeveless jerseys among his favourites ).Random dragon TF5 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

His other three sat in the seats, weapons at the ready. They all had a blank look on their face, prepared for the fight ahead.
