If you haven´t then you should try it. Its actually really calming. Just to sit down and listen to your inner voice. Some call it our soul or spirit, I call it a conscience or maybe the voice of reason. We all have one and all of us can hear it, the hard part is to understand and actually listen to what it is saying.
When I walked trough the halls of my school, I was doing all in my power not to listen to it. Instead I was concentrating on my footsteps:
Left, right, left, right... "don´t listen to the slow, confident voice that you have listen´d to your whole life and has saved you from making a lot of stupid decisions"... left, right, left, right..." but maybe I should...no,no,NO!...just keep walking"...left, right, left, right...
Before I knew it, I was standing outside the principals office, right hand slightly raised, ready to probably make the greatest mistake in all of my...

"You can not escape man", it hissed while it approached.
"Come here and I promissse that you will receive a quick and painlessss death."
I responded by attempting to step up the pace, but to no avail. My foot was badly damaged. The blood ran quickly and I knew that I soon would have to stop, whether I wanted to or not.
The dragon hissed again:
"It lookssss like your foot is badly damaged".
"Thisss game can only end badly for you, Come here now!"
The dragon leapt forward and I felt how its claws got a grip on my shoulders and pushed me to the ground.
"Got you", it hissed laughing in my ear. No ussse! You can't get away.

Though thy teeth be sharp, and thy claws great, waste not thy strength on me,
for thy beauty doth pierce mine heart worse than any wound.
Do not waste thy breath upon me, for I burn already a passion far greater than I can bear.
Oh dragon, hold back not thine beauty from mine eyes any longer, spread thy wings for me, let me see thy grace, thy majesty, thy glory complete!
Though thy scales turn away the sword, they cannot turn away my love for thee.
Though thy wings block the sun, they cannot block mine thoughts so bright of thee.
Though thine eyes stare death, I . . .only have eyes . . . for thee.

I gazed at the tail in my hands.
"What the hell?" I whispered.
The orange color was shining up in my face. I sat down.
I had my hand glide along the orange scales and felt, in the tail, how it twitched in it.
It felt as if I sat there for several hours before I moved, or rather the tail did.
It gave me an idea.
"I wonder if I can get it to move", I said to myself.
I laid down the tail on the ground and tried.
To my disappointment, it did nothing.
"Well, I will get much time to train, I said and smiled against the tail, it seems as if I would be with you for some time".
Almost in reply to it, the tail was twitching. I smiled again and began to go home, with the tail out close behind me.

"Thanks for the ride mother", I said and smiled.
"There was nothing dear, answered she, don't stay up to long now. Remember that you have school on Monday".

I woke up when my mom came into my room.
"Good morning Simon," she said.
"Good morning," I mumbled. What time is it? "
"A quarter to seven."
"Okay," I replied and sat up slowly. Give me ten minutes and then I'll come and eat breakfast ".
She did not reply but turned and went out to the kitchen.
I sank down on the pillow and closed my eyes again.
To my disappointment, I did not rest for a minute before I felt someone poking me in the back.
"I said ten minutes mom".
She did not answer but just poked harder and harder.
Eventually, it really hurts.
"Alright, I'll go up".
I sat up quickly and hit my head in the ceiling.
"Son of a ..."
I rubbed my head and looked around.
"What the? There is nobody here!"
Then I felt how I got poked in the back again. I slowly looked down and saw that it was my tail. It continued to eagerly poking itself in my back.

I had used the two hours that mom gave me to mentally prepare me on how would react. But when I saw her go out of the car I became nervous.
I grabbed my dagger that were on the table next to me and started playing with it. I got it to balance between my fingers and then spin around in the air.
For some reason that has always helped me to concentrate and relax. It didn't work this time. So I tried to give the dagger to my tail.
It caught it skillfully and got it to do exactly the same movements as when I used the hand.
I were about to increase the speed when I was interrupted by the door was opened and a voice was heard.
It was my mom. I quickly put down the dagger on the table and sat down to wait.
"Hello?" She said again.

This is the first day of integrating humans and dragons in schools.
The yellow bus pulled up in front of the humble home. Matt had been selected based on test scores, physical fitness, sociability, and some rumored expandability. His parents didn't care, they just saw it as a way to get into history, and they truly believed that age old rivals could coexist.
Matt waved goodbye to his parents before shouldering his bag, and boarding the bus.
The trip to the new school was long. Not because it was in a remote location. It was in fact at the very centre of the first human and dragon city ever built. However, t
