"Thank you God, Summer is finally here at last!!!" Gene shouted out as me and my 6 closests friends were walking out of this dump called "Middle School", and into freedom. We've waited 15 weeks for this time to come, since this year in 8th grade had been a pain in the butt when Dramarama came around and hypnotised every prep to fight and make drama.
Typical if you catch my drift.
"So Miranda, what are you gonna do this weekend?" Andrea asked, folding her arms and staring at me with those shy brown eyes of hers. She's the shy one, sometimes talks whenever there's nothing to say, but she's still a nice gal.
"Not much. Though I think my mom has some plans for the both of us to go to Corpus Christi for the whole weekend. Maybe today I'll be going to the mall to shop for a new swimsuit and sandles."

"Okay everyone, have a fun and safe holidays!" She called out above the screaming and yelling. The shouting slowly died down, and the class streamed out of their final lesson for the year, deep in conversation about what they were going to do in the summer holidays.
One boy, me, was the last to make it out. I was slim and tall, and had black hair, along with dark, chocolate brown eyes and dark tanned skin.
"Hey! What are you doing?" My friend Kevin asked, coming up to my side and nudging me with his elbow.
"I dunno man, I guess I'm just gonna stay home and rest for a few days," I lied, wanting to spend more time with Sapphire.

Corruption and Hope Chapter 1: The First DayThis is it. Today is the day. The first day of the first year of integrated high schools. It's been a long time in coming. A lot of preparation and money has gone into this day. Many parents warned against it. They claimed that it was too dangerous. Too many risks. What would happen if one of them slipped? If they took a wrong step or dropped something? Or if one of them got hungry?Corruption and Hope Chapter 1: The First Day3 years ago in Settings More Like This
This is the first day of integrating humans and dragons in schools.
The yellow bus pulled up in front of the humble home. Matt had been selected based on test scores, physical fitness, sociability, and some rumored expandability. His parents didn't care, they just saw it as a way to get into history, and they truly believed that age old rivals could coexist.
Matt waved goodbye to his parents before shouldering his bag, and boarding the bus.
The trip to the new school was long. Not because it was in a remote location. It was in fact at the very centre of the first human and dragon city ever built. However, t

Though thy teeth be sharp, and thy claws great, waste not thy strength on me,
for thy beauty doth pierce mine heart worse than any wound.
Do not waste thy breath upon me, for I burn already a passion far greater than I can bear.
Oh dragon, hold back not thine beauty from mine eyes any longer, spread thy wings for me, let me see thy grace, thy majesty, thy glory complete!
Though thy scales turn away the sword, they cannot turn away my love for thee.
Though thy wings block the sun, they cannot block mine thoughts so bright of thee.
Though thine eyes stare death, I . . .only have eyes . . . for thee.

If she was given a choice between a shopping day at a mall or a day outside, she would chose the great outdoors. Today she was hiking along a path in the woods, in her native state of Montana, and admired all the wild plants and creatures as she went. Derrek began to talk to his mom about the day he had. He left out the part about the stone until later. She listened intently to his speech, then spoke soon after. "Did you think about checking the weather before going out?"

"Watch the skies," Sapphire said.
The sun had just sunk into the sea, leaving us to the ghostly moonlight and gleaming stars. We glided from cloud to cloud, speedily and stealthily, always checking behind if we were being followed. Down below, there were few signs of civilisation. A river snaked its way through the rolling land, eerily shining in the moonlight. A large forest of ghostly white gum trees sprawled out across the land. Occasionally a farmhouse, or an abandoned shack, or maybe a dusty outback road lay. I looked over at Kiiro and Astrid, gliding next to us. Astrid gave me a thumbs up and a smile. Everything was okay. I relaxed a little, a brief moment of relief from the tension. I knew any moment a creature from the darkness could just appear whenever they wanted, wherever they wanted.
"They can't get us if we're in the light," Sapphire said, reading my thoughts.
But there wasn't any light.
Fear once again crawled back into my head, ripping relief from the boundar

If you haven´t then you should try it. Its actually really calming. Just to sit down and listen to your inner voice. Some call it our soul or spirit, I call it a conscience or maybe the voice of reason. We all have one and all of us can hear it, the hard part is to understand and actually listen to what it is saying.
When I walked trough the halls of my school, I was doing all in my power not to listen to it. Instead I was concentrating on my footsteps:

It caught it skillfully and got it to do exactly the same movements as when I used the hand.

Sister Sister Bonus material 3: The Royal Dragons and Title Drop
The world of Sister Sister is ruled by dragons of all kinds, but each group of dragons typically has a mated pair of dragons that are far stronger than the others….these dragons are known as royals.
The common appearance of royals:
Royal dragons look like the other dragons of its species, but on the inside, they are far different. Visually, the only thing that clearly separates a royal from the rest is glowing markings on the tail tip. The markings glow the same color as the “power type” of the species (Fire is red, air is white, water is blue, forest is green, storm is yellow, ice is dark blue, stone is brown and lava is orange). The markings are also shaped as the symbols of the species. These glowing markings glow brightest when the royal is using most of their power, typically during a fight or period of great stress. Hybrids with full royal parents can have bi-colored markings that are shaped as di

Chapter 3: Growth
Derrek woke the next day to the young green dragon curled up on his chest. It took steady breaths, its chest rising and falling. Derrek slowly moved out from under it, the dragon opening one eye to look at him, before returning to its slumber. Stretching, he walked to the door and unlocked it. today he had to find some place the dragon would stay while he was at school. It couldn't stay in his room, the paint on the door was allready clawed off and he had to save the cat twice from going down its throat (The dragon soon got the point about not eating the cat.) It also needed free roaming space to stretch its wings. No way could it do that in his cramped up room.
Derrek allready thought of a few good places to let the dragon stay that was away from danger and close enough to keep regular contact with. The top of the list was a small cavern. The mouth was allevated six feet off the ground and was very well hidden. It was by accident that Derrek
