Here is a little Knuckles Chao I've completed. Everyone knows I'm a Knuckles fan-girl, so obviously, this little guy is definitely my favorite! KNUCKLES LOVE!!!

I mainly referenced this little guy from images taken from the Sonic Adventure games. The main differences here from the Sonic Game Chao are his eyes are made to match Knuckles and his hovering doo-hickey was designed to look like a Master Emerald shard from the Sonic Adventure game.
I loved making his little knuckle spikes too. Just too cute and fun to do.

I used the 3" Knuckles figure to pick the pose to match. Wanted something that represented Knuckles, so I went with a "Punch" pose.

All my chao are hand made, hand painted, and glazed with a matte finish on the bodies and a gloss for the eyes.
The figure is is to scale of the 3-inch sonic figures that you can get from ToysRUS, and stand about 1 inch tall. With the little hovering doo-hickeys, it makes them about 1.5 inches tall. I don't know if I want to sell this guy...but I'll think about it. Maybe I'll make more to sell when I make my Etsy shop. I'll keep my viewers posted.

Sculpture type: kit mod / kitbash
Work time: 1/1/2010-1/19/2010
Character : Seishirou from Clamp’s Tokyo Babylon and X ( I know he’s in Tsubasa also but that’s a different him… )
Sculpting materials: fixit sculpt, magic sculpt, and Prosculpt for the coat only
Wip:
Paint: Artisan and craft acrylic.

-I reworked the coat a little bit. I first overlaid a ton of fast drying medium mixed with very little artisan black. The mainly oil mixture fills in all the cracks and levels off any unevenness. The problem with this is the fast drying medium is extremely glossy and you have to wait a few months to dull coat it. So instead I waited a few days and went ahead and sealed the coat with delta interior matte vanish. The resulting crackle pattern (since the artisan paint was no where near dry) simulates real leather a little bit better than what I had before.

-The sunglass pic is without flash. I found the original sunglasses I was working on. I think they look a lot better, definitely smoother, but maybe a bit too big.

I made another one out of a plastic pumpkin. Now with glow sticks! This time I used a hot knife making the cuts a lot cleaner and smooth. Before you ask I Do not have a working printer so I couldn't print out a Stencil I had to Draw it on the pumpkin. I did Look at a picture of a stencil for reference though.
Sonic (C) :iconsegalogoplz:

If you want to make one of your own you will need
1. A hollow plastic craft pumpkin
2. A Pencil
3. A hot knife tool a.k.a Wood burning tool with x-acto knife (you can get them at hardward stores they cost $15 to $20)

Draw a design on your pumpkin, then slowly and carefully cut through your pumpkin with the hot knife. When your done lightly shave off any hanging pieces then cut a hole (with the hot knife) in the bottom large enough to put lights through (no flames)

Now who put these wierd obstacles in Knux' way?
:D

Pointlessly playing around with simple animations in GIMP. This came out. May load a little slowly... I failed at reducing it to a smaller file size... :(

It was fun to make this, so maybe I'll do something similar with other characters later. Dunno yet. ;)
