So much time without submitting something, isn't it ~ I haven't really drawn anything in months, maybe it's an artist block? Or maybe I do have ideas but I'm lazy as hell.
Well this is a plushie of Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog I finished some days ago. I started it at the beginning of last year so it has really been quite a long time since I started it lol... poor Tails.
I've always wanted a Tails plushie with his look in Sonic 2 (he's just too cute there!) I love how he looks with black eyes and being so tiny gaaah
Now I'm making a Super Sonic plushie Sonic Adventure style for my older brother, but I soo want to make a Pikachu, Charmander and an old school Sonic plushies too... I need them! XD
C-ya and have a verrry nice day.
(PS: My mom's camera is soooo cool I'd never taken such awesome pics... too bad the place wasn't the best but oh well XD)
Painted with about about 7 different acrylic paints, and toothpicks to apply the paint. (The Rings and Cuffs are different shades of blue, and the gloves, shoe tops, and chest is grey).
Yes. I painted this with toothpicks. XD
Since I already had a Shadow Jazwares, and this had a horrible paint job (as you can see in the lower pic, which also had the stripe marks carved, but not painted...), and I had the right colors, I decided to make a Mephiles custom.
I bought a Tails figure around 4pm today and finished this custom sometime past midnight, so you do the math of how long this took me. I was gonna make Miles because he's badass, or maybe Antonie, but the toy line does need more girls so Fiona it is. Her head and arms are Tails and her legs are Knuckles(the Knuckles that I failed to make metal knuckles with wasnt a total waste after all...) Her body is not from an already made figure. Tails was fat, so I sculpted a new body for her and attached the head, arms, legs and single tails with the extra one chopped off into the torso, so it actually still does have most of its original articulation.
I was a dummy and stood her upward in the toaster oven so that she was touching the ceiling of it. Her ears melted a little and her hair and bow...oh god I had never seen clay burn so horribly. But its all good because I was still able to put the figure together.
I was looking at my Jazwares 3.75 inch Sonic figures sitting on my monitor today, and then it struck me. NAZO! So I pulled up Nazo unleashed and watched it. I changed my mind when I realized that I'd have to kill my only Shadow figure to make him, so I decided to use an extra Sonic I had laying around instead and made Hyper Shadic. (I think he's a lot cooler anyway.) This is the product of 5 1/2 hours of work. I know that I could have done better with the paint job, and the sculpt on the other 4 quills, but I for one think he came out good. If you don't know so already Hyper Shadic belongs to Chakra-X The paint has a slight blue tint to it in the sun. It also has a slight sparkle from the white pearl paint I used as a base. I don't think I boiled the Sculpey long enough because it's really fragile and keeps breaking off. I guess I'll need some super glue. You must watch the three episodes of Nazo Unleashed. Ep1 [link] Ep2 [link] Ep3 [link] <- That one is the best of the three. Best fight ecene I have ever watched.
All work and custom (C) to Mew14 A.K.A Me Hyper Shadic (C) to Chakra-X
"I'm Knuckles, Knuckles the Echidna" Hey, Im the only one doing the introductions around here. Anyways....This is Knuckles, Knuckles the Echidna Another picture taken at kelly park which took the picture of with super awesome chocolate cover super professional photography camera and i did the editing. Hes yet another fanime auction. I actually made a knuckles back in High school and displayed it in the school's art show but it got stolen along with a yoshi, pikachu and a sonic which kinda discourage me to share my pipe cleaners to the public for a while . But its okay because this knuckles was ALOT better than my first one.(the first one is half the size of this one. This ones almost 8 inches)
I was looking through my gallery and realized I didn't have any good pictures of these plushies I had made, so decided to take some. I will delete the old photos of these from my gallery, so if you have added those to your favorites, fave this instead please
Team Chaotix, from Sonic the Hedgehog, Charmy, Vector and Espio
These are really old (over two and a half year already), made these when I was still making a lot of plushies (I haven't made any for a long time... Maybe I should give it a try again) Even though these are really old, these are still one of the best plushies I have made so far
...I think I got nothing else to say about this. Enjoy or don't
I know a lot of my watchers/followers want or are interested in my Quilava plush, but they can't afford it. And I don't particularly like this fact. So, I've been developing a "mini" Quilava plush that can be bought for a fraction of the cost of a full-size one. I was finally able to finish him over Thanksgiving break, so I hope everyone likes it!
Mini Quilava is mini. Also, I'd like to make it known that smaller is not alway simpler.
This little guy is about 9 inches long, which is bigger than half the size of a normal sized Quilava. He is about 7.5 inches tall, excluding both his fire and ears. He is about 10.75 when you include his head-flames.
This plush is a simplified version of my original Quilava plush. To make this plush easier for me to make so I could sell it cheaper, I made the flames differently and painted on the red of the flames using an Elmer's Painters fabric paint marker. There also are not any weighted beads inside of it for simplicity's sake.
The toes, however, are thread sculpted, and there are paw pads stitched onto the bottom of every foot. I completely redesigned the eyes to make them cuter, and they were drawn on GIMP and coloured on Photoshop. They were printed onto transfer sheets and ironed onto sturdy bottomweight.
