The boy crouched on the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea, he couldn't have been over thirteen or 5 foot 3 as he stared down over the edge to the rocks below with green eyes, tan cargo shorts and a navy blue t-shirt made up his attire. A tiny forest bordered the cliff behind him as two people, obviously his friends make their way through this forest to him...
"Max!" the older of the boys called to the boy on the cliff...
I sigh and look back at Kyle, his black hair moving just enough to see him standing a few feet behind him.
"What?" I asked causualy.
"Why'd you leave?" Jake asks, stuffing his hands into his baggy jeans, he was 6 feet tall and had spiky brown hair and a scar that ran just under his left eye, which was blue. He had taken off his shirt, reavealing the sweaty muscles underneath.

Chapter 1: Mysterious Beverages
It was around 2 a.m. and everyone had gone to bed except Lee. He was a true deviantArt fanatic and was on the site as much as possible. It was hard at first though since he had to keep his account secret for the first couple of weeks until his parents found out.
Suddenly, Lee heard a familiar sound, a rattling metal fence. He let it go assuming it was a cat; being that there were many felines in the area. Around 30 seconds later he heard it again, going the other way! Lee knew something was up and, knowing he was the only one who heard it, went to the back door to have a look. He knew he was the only one who had heard it due to his acute hearing which he assumed came from being half blind in one eye with an astigmatism.
Upon flipping on the porch light, Lee saw a case of Coke(the soda). He thought it odd that the company delivered the drinks to his home, especially at 2 in the morning. There was something odd about them though: the bottl

Amongst the bustling streets of Philadelphia, Eric Venia walked with his hands in his brown coat, purposely avoiding the Christmas-spirited carolers and fraudulent Santas as he walked by. The snow fell softly to the ground as a slight breeze stung his face in the loaded streets. Most of the crowds were enthralled with the Christmas spirit. Eric, however, was not. The people amassed throngs that were thick and difficult to pass through, unless someone was to slip down the dark alleyways between the old red brick buildings. Eric did so, knowing he was heading for trouble making shortcuts through the one way streets. He could only hope he wouldn't be paying for his brooding mood and rash decisions from a heartbreaking woman.
As it turned out, if he wouldn't have bad luck, he would have no luck at all. Four burly men crawled out from behind the dumpsters. He looked behind him for an escape, but two more men appeared from the trash he had walked past, foolishly obliviou
The DarkI idly strolled down the well-worn pathways through the trees yellowstone national park, basking in the tranquility of a pleasant saturday morning out in the wild. Despite how thick this forest was, gently blew past me a cool breeze as I walked, earning me a sigh of relief as I felt the sweat trickle down the sides of my face and down past my neck. I heard the cacophony of the birds up in the trees making their cries and calls. Every now and then I heard a flutter of wings as one took flight. A warm, summer day. Perfect for hiking. The Dark3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
This was relaxing, after so much stress in school, I was finally at peace. Such was the beauty of Yellowstone Park, where no matter what happens, it never seems to fail in creating such a strong sense of tranquility. It was comparable to being on another world. With the hustle and bustle of daily life in the city, as well as the demanding schedule of a full time job, it was hard to imagine that this place was actually on Earth, let alone so close to my home.
Becoming a red dragonFor those who wants to listen to me, this is my own personal story...this is how I became a dragon. Believe me or not, it's true. Exiled - Dragon TFPrivate Matt floored the accelerator on his humvee and slid onto a long drift as he barreled down a small dirt road. He grinned as the engine whined and grew labored as he climbed a hill. Inside his hummer was his squad of soldiers. One manned the .50 cal mounted on the roof. His other three sat in the seats, weapons at the ready. They all had a blank look on their face, prepared for the fight ahead. One of the soldiers checked his rifle safety and tapped his forward assist, making sure the bolt was forward. He smiled slightly and sat his weapon back on his lap. He looked over to the center of the vehicle and looked at the person sitting there. He snorted as the passenger held her hands in her lap, head hanging low. He looked out the window, out into the darkness. He bobbed as the humvee started to slow. The driver hit the brakes and the truck and skidded to a halt in front of a dense wooded area. He turned the switch to the hummer, the diesel engine sputtering and shutting off. The paExiled - Dragon TF6 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

“Right…” Sighing, he glanced back at the empty waiting room, surprisingly plain-looking with its whitewashed walls and shiny, checkered floors. Large potted plants and dark grey couches were positioned in neat rows throughout the room, and there was a long table overloaded with various pamphlets and magazines next to the front desk where he stood. Pre-recorded voices greeted him from the ceiling far above: “Welcome to Helena Pharmaceuticals! Your Key to a Better Life!”
The young man grinned at that. He tried not to, but he couldn’t help it. It was just too exciting, especially whenever he stared at the thick metal door on the far side of waiting
The Seattle 777 IncidentIt was a rough day at Austin-Bergstrom International when our airplane landed, with wind and rain threatening to close down the airport. But somehow, the Thursday Shanghai run always came through. Our Boeing 777-4G9 seemed to glide in to the runway despite hefty crosswinds, before touching and quickly slowing down. Under air traffic controller guidance, I exited at the nearest taxiway and it wasn't long before the 777 was mated with the gate and everyone started to collect their things and disembark. I said goodbye to the people in first class, which was handled by one of three jet ways. While I'm honoured that you'd like to read my works, I regrettably have to inform you that this story has been discontinued after eight chapters and a sidestory merge. There won't be any more chapters in this story, sadly.
I am however working on a new project that will hopefully outshine this old gal - it's going to be released some time in the future, and I hope you'll be there to read that was well.
If you can deal with this story ending abruptly with no end in sight, then by all means read on, and dream.
People dream. It's natural. Daydreams you usually control and you can make them whatever you want. Sometimes they get forgotten, sometimes they spring back to life after a long time, or just a heartbeat. Sometimes, they come true.

Nick stared blankly at his computer screen. It had been days since he'd had any sort of inspiration for his songwriting and he just felt completely bummed out. His online friends had tried to make him feel better, but all in all it seemed nothing would help. He just needed some sort of inspiration to break him out of this slump.
After an hour of browsing around FA and DA and his other social networks and coming up with nothing, he leaned back in his chair and let the chat messages flood in. Someone started going on about their problems again, and he began to tune it out. He turned on some music to help himself relax and ran his hands slowly down the keyboard.
Maybe I'll write a story, he thought. That'll give me a break from writing music and I could actually come up with something good.
He opened his writing program and watched the cursor blink for what felt like an eternity, trying to come up with an idea. Then his instant mess

She looked out across the forest and shivered. In front of her was a large, mossy rock; the same rock she had walked passed half an hour ago. She groaned and looked down at her feet as she tried not to worry. But she was lost, hungry and tired. And she was lost. The voices in her head kept telling her so.
She sighed and ran a hand across the rock, feeling its fuzzy green coat as she kicked at a rock on the ground. It skipped and skittered away from her, disappearing under some trees. Then she yelled about how unfair it was.
She could feel herself slipping; her grip on reality fading. She couldn't let it slide, because she knew what would happen when she did. She knew the others in her mind too well.
She sat down in the dry dirt under the rock, holding her head in her hands. She'd had to deal with them for ever. Yet, she was still afraid. She was always afraid of what would happen when they took over.
Am I human?Am I Human?Am I human?5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
That was the question that I asked myself as I was standing on top of the cliff, with the rain and the wind blowing furiously around me.
"Am I Human?"
That is a very simple question for most people. Either you are a human or you are an animal, it's as simple as that. For me, that is not the case.
I'm not what you can call human, (after all: since when did humans have wings or a tail or maybe fangs and claws that could tear anyone that gets in their way to shreds?) but I'm not what you call animal either. Animals can't talk or walk on two legs or choose. They don't have what humans call "a mind", they just go on pure instinct and that's not what I do. I have a mind and can control what I do, though my instincts have sometimes got the better of me.
So what am I then? A half breed? An experiment that have gone wrong?
A FREAK? No, that's not what I am.
I am a mix. A mix between the two. A mix between the humans and the animals.
I wasn't born like this. If I was then I wouldn't
