The boy crouched on the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea, he couldn't have been over thirteen or 5 foot 3 as he stared down over the edge to the rocks below with green eyes, tan cargo shorts and a navy blue t-shirt made up his attire. A tiny forest bordered the cliff behind him as two people, obviously his friends make their way through this forest to him...
"Max!" the older of the boys called to the boy on the cliff...
I sigh and look back at Kyle, his black hair moving just enough to see him standing a few feet behind him.
"What?" I asked causualy.
"Why'd you leave?" Jake asks, stuffing his hands into his baggy jeans, he was 6 feet tall and had spiky brown hair and a scar that ran just under his left eye, which was blue. He had taken off his shirt, reavealing the sweaty muscles underneath.

It was a Saturday afternoon. When I was done watching television I went to work on some homework. Luckily, my friend Lyndsey called and asked to go on a bike ride. My parents said it was okay. I grabbed my backpack and went to get my bike. I sped off to meet her at the park.
“Hey Sarah, wanna go check out that abandoned school on the other side of the park?”
“I am not sure about that…” I replied.
“Oh come on!” said Lyndsey.
“Well…okay…”I said nervously.

Phil couldn't believe his luck when he stumbled into the deep cavern full of gleaming gold and shining silver. A few days ago he had heard from a few sources that a mountain range a few miles away from where Phil lived was home to a gigantic treasure, but from what he had heard, the treasure was cursed no one who tried to claim it for their own had ever returned from the place. Even the world's best tomb raiders had disappeared without a trace when they tried to find the treasure.
"Oh man, look at this stuff!" He grinned from ear to ear, looking at the giant treasure hoard. "With this much stuff I'll be set for the rest of my life!" He dove toward it, grabbing loads of coins, pendants and gemstones in his hands, beginning to pile them into the backpack that he had brought with him for the sole purpose of taking as much of it as he could in one go. "It might take me a couple trips back to this place, but I'll leave this cave with every last coin!"
It was rare that Phil had a gree

Chapter 1: Mysterious Beverages
It was around 2 a.m. and everyone had gone to bed except Lee. He was a true deviantArt fanatic and was on the site as much as possible. It was hard at first though since he had to keep his account secret for the first couple of weeks until his parents found out.
Suddenly, Lee heard a familiar sound, a rattling metal fence. He let it go assuming it was a cat; being that there were many felines in the area. Around 30 seconds later he heard it again, going the other way! Lee knew something was up and, knowing he was the only one who heard it, went to the back door to have a look. He knew he was the only one who had heard it due to his acute hearing which he assumed came from being half blind in one eye with an astigmatism.
Upon flipping on the porch light, Lee saw a case of Coke(the soda). He thought it odd that the company delivered the drinks to his home, especially at 2 in the morning. There was something odd about them though: the bottl

While I'm honoured that you'd like to read my works, I regrettably have to inform you that this story has been discontinued after eight chapters and a sidestory merge. There won't be any more chapters in this story, sadly.
I am however working on a new project that will hopefully outshine this old gal - it's going to be released some time in the future, and I hope you'll be there to read that was well.
If you can deal with this story ending abruptly with no end in sight, then by all means read on, and dream.
People dream. It's natural. Daydreams you usually control and you can make them whatever you want. Sometimes they get forgotten, sometimes they spring back to life after a long time, or just a heartbeat. Sometimes, they come true.
Last year, I stayed home from school two days because of stomach pains. My mother thought it was some kind of odd flu, mainly because she had it t

There was only darkness I see when I woke up but the only thing I can see is myself. I stood up and try to find a way out
A Connection - Dragon TFI saw a silver blur, weaving through a forest, its metallic hue only magnified by the weak light that filtered through the thick treecover. He - it's only apparent that he was a living thing when he'd started to tire - slowed. Deep blue, previously masked by the trees and sky, adorned the top of his body. Even in his tired state, he was still capable of movement at an astonishing pace, dodging trees at a seemingly impossible pace. I still couldn't tell what he was, but I had vague suspicions. It soon became obvious that he didn't slow from fatigue. He was looking for something. I watched him, trying to make out his form between the numerous trees. You're still that lone soul,
But this time
You feel a presence
Building up inside you, slowly.
You can now see truly,
You open your eyes
And witness something incredible.
You've noticed your hand,
Yet it is no longer that.
You see claws spurting out from your fingertips,
Your nails, fallen to the floor.
It looks painful
But you feel nothing.
Nothing but the strength
Still growing inside you
Now making its way to the surface,
Changing you slowly...
You watch as your fingertips fuse.
As five becomes three,
Your new claws growing longer
With each passing second.
You stare in amazement
Not sure what to feel...
Shock? Fear? Awe?
But there is one thing.
One single feeling
Surging through your body...
One feeling whose existence
You cannot deny.
It flows through your veins
Filling you with the energy
Of the beast within.
Now freeing itself
From the depths of your soul...
Yet this power cannot be contained so easily.
Halloween Night [Chinese Dragon TF]Noah paced around his bedroom, frustrated. His costume for Halloween was really late, coming only in the early evening of the event itself. While Noah wouldn't have minded that, the costume was a huge disappointment.Halloween Night [Chinese Dragon TF]2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
A few weeks back, he had ordered a Chinese dragon costume, of which the shop keeper was all too eager to describe to him, but didn't have a sample to show. But it was described as a realistic long dragon costume, sleek and snake-like. Slender limbs for arms and feet, elegant fins across its back, and a long snout with flowing whiskers. And at a low price, how could he say no?
However when it did come, he realized he should've said no. The costume he saw was one that looked entirely fake. The skin was made of cheap rubber, scales painted on. The "realistic features" were whiskers and attachable claws. It didn't even come with horns.
Trying it on, Noah realized it didn't fit him. Not because it was too big or too small, but because it didn't seem like it was shaped for a hum
A secret in blue scalesWe all have secrets. We hides thing to prevent people from seeing what we really are. Sometimes we do it because we are ashamed of ourselves, and don't want the others to laugh at us, and make us suffer. But our secrets just make us fake, and make our lives miserable. In the end, we become secrets ourselves, and spent our life time wondering what it could have been if we could have got rid of them.
No other example can be more significant...than the story of two teens, whose dark secrets gave them the opportunity to live the lives they always wanted to live, and truly know what it means to be happy.
That afternoon the school's corridors were empty. The students were in their classrooms, listening to their teachers talking about people doing things centuries ago, how to analyse a complex function, how your pancreas work, and in the worst cases about grades.

From his perch the dragon listened intently, with a feint sense of familiarity coming from the boy. It had seen him before, but from where and when?
"Excuse me, might there be a Shaun living here...?" he asked timidly.
The man looked surprised for a second before an expression of pain flashed across his aging face. "No, I'm sorry, there's no Shaun living here..." he said, shutting the door.
The young man walked away wordlessly, going back down the street from which he came. The dragon was overcome with curiousity as he wanted to know who this familiar young boy was and, with a large flap of its wings, took off from its perch.
The aging man was seen staring out the window, watching as the blue dragon flew off in the same direction as the young man that had knocked on his doors

I was excited to meet new people over there, take a ton of photos like always and enjoy the feeling to discover something new.
