starting a projectI'll be a senior at my high school this year, and in order to graduate seniors need to complete a senior project. Now is when I tell you about mine. B0)
At the end of last school year, my art teacher and I sent a letter to a sales rep of Wacom, asking if the company would donate or lend 10-20 drawing tablets to my school in order to allow me to teach a digital art class to the students and public. In my studio art class I started taking in my tablet and doing digital work there. My teacher also got her first tablet at the beginning of that year. But so many of my classmates had never heard of or seen a tablet before, and were confused about digital art and how it worked. Throughout my experience with digital art, a lot of people seem to dismiss it when they hear it's done with a computer - they don't realize how much is really in control of the artist, and how it's really very like traditional art. So I decided to teach a digital art class.

Also I would like to thank :icondanidrastic: ! She's been helping me SO SO SO much! And not just encouraging me, which she does A LOT of, but she's also helping me raise funds for the class by helping paint shoes and also selling her own adoptables, which are AMAZING! On top of it all she's super busy with work and college and she's seriously wonderful for being so helpful. She's taken pictures for me! She'd edited pictures for me! She's listened to me think what I'm doing next through annoyingly out loud during lunch! She's just super wonderful <3 THANK YOU DANI!! :0)
