They desire a longing
A longing for that tender sweet bond
The bond of the scarlet river
That flows from within
It is what keeps their hearts
Beating in their caged chests
For without the blood
They could not live
They are bonded by the rogue
Aspiring throughout their souls
For it is what makes them become
Identical as oath brothers
Crimson marks tear up the past
With a small river flowing down
Downward from the crystal eye
The eye of all things known
Emotions are only expressed
Through the pounding of this blood
That never ceases to be
Their passionate desire
Bursts from within
To crave and taste the blood
The bond from within
No Ball in the HallNo Ball in the Hall2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
"Jack, I said no ball in the hall."
Reminded Jinny with her call
-"But what is it about my ball
that I can’t play with it in the hall?"
Jinny glared at the little clown
"It will turn the hall upside down."
-“Turn upside down? That's a neat trick!
How do you do that? With a kick?"
-"You kick that ball and I'll pull your ear
You can play outside, but never here."
Jinny walked away and left Jack aware
about the ball in the hall, it was no dare.
Jack quickly ran the hall to play outside
but running made his shoelaces untie
He tripped and the ball flew off his hands
It knocked four vases and two table stands
And right after the loud "crash" and "crack"
Jinny came back furious shouting at Jack
'What did I say? Didn't you listen at all?!'
- 'Yes, I did, you said no ball in the hall!'
- 'Then why did you disobeyed me if you knew?'
- ' I didn't! It was the ball, it didn't listen to you.'
The angry Jinny walked over to Jack
whose big, silly head got a smack.
Open WoundsOpen Wounds2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
life is but an open wound
forever drowining us
people are foolish
to think that they can stop us
but they cant
each one of us is filled with flaws
good and bad
we are different
yet the same
no one can truely see
what we see
they will never understand
there might be others like us
but we are alone
Such Envy ConstruedSuch Envy Construed3 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Such envy construed from a dead, lifeless thing!
One would think I had taken too much of wine
Yet here I still lie, overcome with this dream
When the sensuous dawn and the morning are mine
I curse the sweet cloth that extends his form
So dark, yet inviting in its fibers of night
If the heart is the eyes, then his heart beats on
For his hand is my scepter and his being my sight
Such violence! Such envy! Are mortals so daft?
If a rose stabs itself on the thorns of deceit
I scream out my words, but you only will laugh
At the warring so bloody, yet blindingly sweet
If I lay me down tightly and rightly to sleep
Then dear Death will come tramping, as soon is his due
Announce my cold state, for the flesh will not reap
I am lying in arms so much sweeter than you
