The Road to FaithIt is amazing, to think that God can reveal Himself and His messages to us in every aspect of life, no matter how miniscule or insignificant we may consider these instances to be.The Road to Faith5 years ago in Spiritual & Occult More Like This
In our walks of life, it is easy to ignore what He tries to tell us, or what He tries to show us, because we are often too caught up in our own ambitions to pay any attention.
We live in a get there fast, me first society. We speed on the roads when were late, not caring who we endanger in our paths. We ignore people trying to merge into our lane, even if their blinkers are on. We speed up to close gaps, even if we know someone else is trying to merge over. We get angry, and curse at people on the road for driving slowly, even if theyre elderly people or people who are simply not used to the area.
But more often than not, we dont see what we are doing. We promulgate wrath and pride so much, these two destructive traits have b
History of Go-TeeMy entire life I have thought giant things were cool. However, one day I was thinking to myself and figured that although being giant is cool, it wasn't quite as cool if you didn't transform a bit. I suppose I then made a little connection with overweight people and this theory. They got larger and changed a bit as they did (Well, technically they did't get any taller, but you know what I mean).History of Go-Tee3 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Due to this I found scenes of cartoon characters getting fat in cartoons to be hilarious. Especially when they ate other characters whole, because that'd make them even fatter. Of course at the time I didn't realise that you digested food and gained weight, instead believing that fat people just had a lot of food in their bellies. As time went on I started to think more and more about overweight women almost exclusively. Finally, around nine or so years of age, I came to realise that I thought they looked beautiful.
I can't honestly say I thought much of it at first, I wasn't yet truly on terms
Logical ArgumentsOkay, because I believe this is very important, I'm going to be writing about logic.Logical Arguments3 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
More specifically, Logic and Christianity.
No, they are not incompatible.
I just finished (or at least I believe I finished)
talkingarguing with someone on the topic. In the middle of the topic, I learned some tactics of Apologists, people who argue on the behalf of Christianity. I'll be sharing some of that too.
I think the best way to describe the proper place of logic is to define it.
Logic is a process of thought. It is using reason to come to a conclusion in a non-random fashion. Logic is reasonable (able to reason).
Now, God, with all his power and might can't do some things.
Before you shout "Blasphemy" and try and burn me at the stake, wait a moment and let me name them.
God cannot lie. (Hebrews 6:18 NLT; "So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie...")

I see my friends.
But then they start to fight.
I never see the reasons why.
I can only watch as their friendships fall apart.
I don't know what's going on.
I will never truly know.
I'm so confused,
But what I do know is that.
Friendships are being torn.
People are self destructing.
Everything is starting to fall apart.
And all I can do is watch.
I'm not apart of it.
I was never apart of it.
But I'm a bystander.
And it kills me to watch.
As my friends become enemies.
And nothing I do or say.
Will ever change anything at all.
For I am just a silent whisper.
Among the cannon fire and gun shots.
Watching this world fall apart.
And never being able to do a fucking thing.
I cry and I beg for them to stop fighting.
I hate to see this happen to them.
But I am just a wisp of smoke in the fog of confusion.
And I'll just have to watch as this all falls apart.
Perhaps I have it wrong.
Perhaps this is all a misunderstanding.
But I am just another lost s

Becasue things arent evil, or good. This world isnt black and white. its not even grey. Its just a world; aworld with people in it.
Hitler, for example, wasnt evil. He wasnt insane either. He was a hardened WWI soldier, who was elected into power of a failing nation of former barbarians. He needed a scapegoat; and he found one...ersome. (and yes, germany was a land of former barbaians. HISTORICALLY, it was made up of what was left of the goths and the visibuels (sp?) and whatnot; who are listed as barbarians in histroy books, and helped rome to fall and whatnot).
Granted, he picked off certain people; which i dont particularly like, but then, he killed people in general, which i am... indiffrent to.
Think about it; in WWI 50,000,000 people di
Souls - A Super Smash Bros. CreepypastaI finally returned from college for my winter break. I've been away for a long time and it was really nice seeing everyone, but I found myself alone even when I come back for a little while. As I unloaded my things from my car and carrying them to my room in the basement, I found my old Nintendo 64 console in my closet. Awesome! I haven't played the system in well over 10 years. As I unpacked my things, I quickly started setting the system up and found my old Star Fox, NFL QB Club 2001, NASCAR 1999, Yoshi's Story, and many other games that I grew up on. I was so excited about the long and amazing journey while playing these games. The first game that I grabbed was Star Fox. I blew the bottom of the cartridge and slammed it into the system. I flipped the switch into the on position, but nothing happened. No sponsors, no sounds, just a black screen. I looked down at the system, which had the little light on telling me it was working. I flipped the system off and sat in confusion. “Souls - A Super Smash Bros. Creepypasta2 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

Nobody knows his name.
No matter what he tries to do,
It is always the same.
He keeps up with all the trends,
He knows them inside out.
Each one he pulls off perfectly,
Even that selfie-photo pout.
Each week he brings a box of muffins,
Though nobody knows why.
He used to try and hand them out,
Now he doesn't even try.
He shares the muffins with the crows
and eats them one by one.
For consuming that much sugar,
He sure looks miserable when he's done.
He looks down at the empty box
and you see a little smile.
The crows fly off and he lies down;
They'll all be full for quite a while.
The same routine, every week,
I think so that he can pretend,
That in the year that he's been here,
He's made at least one friend.

Drawing the black, oily blood that gives life to thought.
He carves into the flesh of the page
The way a butcher cleaves his own bleeding canvas;
Fine strokes that he appreciates in a way others may not.
Meat hanging from his blade.
He pulls verse from his veins, purple and swollen.
Coerces his tears into canto
Until his eyes are too dry and desiccated to shut.
Is he looking at me with that blind stare?
I like to think
This demon who eats death,
He swallows your sobs and spews forth music.
Listen to it, wrap yourself in its chill, and dream,
Perhaps you won't wake upon a scream.
Choke it down.
Clamp jaws tight around the sound.
A moan of pain, mixed with frightened pleasure.
He is there, not to comfort, but to compose.
Perchance to find release.

Dee Wright sighed as he finished tidying the desk. Hed finished with dusting, mopping, organizing, and not a single customer had come in for some time. He cracked his neck gently and settled into his chair. The industrial fan in the corner oscillated a few times. He rapped his fingers on the wood of the table. Just three hours left in his shift.
Despite the occasional boredom, he enjoyed working in the back. It was like his own little world. It was much better than being out there somewhere in the rest of store. He liked the owner but he knew she definitely had some quirks. Like the fact she opened a store which sold gender-bending products.
It was a dangerous place if one wished to remain the same gender. Despite those pitfalls, Dee had managed, in sixteen months, never to be affected by a single one of the store products. A record he held alone among the staff. Most employees were turned within a month at most.
The air from the fan brushed at his cap with the store l

Anor Londo. The city of the very gods themselves. The grand capital of Lordran, home of the Lords.
There was a time, when those who wished to even set foot in this great city had to prove themselves vigorously, whether battling and defeating their peers in the battles of Stoicism, or going on a pilgrimage through the fortress of Sen, to confront Snake men, demons made of titanite, and also a giant golem made purely from iron, rumoured to have a core made from an ancient dragon.
There was a time, when despite the legends and myths behind it, every human that set foot in Anor Londo all agreed that every story was in fact an understatement. Returning champions would talk of giant soldiers, fully clad in brass armour, wielding brass shields and halberds charged with lightning. They talked of marble cathedrals and keeps, a giant painting guarded by white robed blade masters. They would talk of the Silver Knights, the chosen warriors of Gwyn, armed with a w

At current, between five and ten percent of the world is animated. Normal people turn into animated ones of the course of several hours (between two and six), often while they sleep. The change always begins at their hand, with no preference for left or right. Most accept and even enjoy their change. Their art styles vary as much as human imagination. Their touch spreads their art style temporarily to the things and people they are in direct contact with, but does not change them. There is no known cause but the world is adapting to the presence of millions of people who look like living works of art.
No superpowers. Skilled changlings would be the closest thing but less than ten thousand exist. Of those, very few have full control of their ability to change.

Working its way as the prison begins to crack
As their mind becomes aware of the abuse it has undergone
While in stasis, so with the new found awareness
The artist seeps through the cracks
Melting the walls as they escape silently
Tears creating a lubricant that helps them escape insanity
Now as the sun rises higher than the prison walls
When the artist now knows that life has more to offer

I passed by you in the train station today.
Although, neither of us will never know that fact.
You use to call yourself xXLunaXx.
But you were reborn as Marcus09 when your pride was hurt.
You always stay up late, typing away at useless sites.
Starting a new, when you've barely begun.
You always get fed up with that life,
And find yourself a new name.
Knowing people won't care when you're gone,
You enter the same space that your old user name left behind.
Even if you change your alias,
You are still the same person who left those messages.
Countless faces of avatars and display images,
doesn't really change anything.
You are still that same person in reality.
Just one person.
Just adding a mask after another.
You start to wonder, what is it that you are looking for in this virtual world.
It's easier to live here .
Because you never really existed.

"So what is that device you had in your hands during class?" Jacob asked. "Some kind of new Smart Phone? Can it play games?"
Oh great, they saw the remote, but it seems like they haven't noticed what it is. Should I tell them the truth of what it is or make up some lie?
"What? This? Umm, it's complicated. I'll, tell you at Lunch Break, I don't have time now, I'm late for class."
"Alright, we'll talk to you then" said Andrew, as he and Jacob left on their separate ways for their next class.
On my way to my English Class, I was suddenly startled when I was grabbed from behind by somebody. Startled, I noticed it wasn't really a grab, it was more of a hug, and that the arms were furry. So was a decidedly female chest that was now pressed against my back. Soon a voice I recognized cried out "Oh Hi "Jack" I had a feeling what was going on now. I turned my head to confirm it.
