My Love for you will not be understood
By those who have never seen a raven's feather
Glisten in the winter moonlight
Or those that have not seen ice melt
At the mere touch of a warm hand
Those that fear the darkness in your eyes
Do not know that on a starless night
The stars are just behind the clouds
Not failing to bestow their light
And they have never found a treasure
In the depth of a tenebrous cavern
Or seen behind a hideous mask
The wondrous sight of silent, hidden beauty
My Love for you will not be understood
And it was never meant to be
It is but a secret kept by the dungeons
And remains, like you, a mystery

He found her kneeling on the ground, hands digging up the earth, as usually.
If anyone were to paint a picture with the title "Mother Nature", this would be it, he thought fondly. But then he slowed down in his steps. I wonder whether she´s angry at me...
He had promised to help her repotting the Devil´s Snares. However, an accident at Potions Class had kept him at the Hospital Wing the whole morning and it was only now that he had found the time to walk down to the Greenhouse.
Coming closer, the expression on her face made him hesitate somewhat more. Helga without a smile was like Rowena without brains. It scared him. Could she really be so upset about a missed appointment? But then again, the cold, logical voice inside his head told him, he had a good reason to have missed it. So why was he feeling so guilty?
"What are you planting?" He had closed the distance of the last few meters in haste and was slightly out of breath.

"But it would be funny."
"Oh, Mols, you are trouble."
"We promise we won't do anything. We're just curious."
Dominique had not been blessed with the degree of ethereal beauty that her mother and sister possessed, but she had more than enough make it completely impossible to deny her what she really wanted. George grinned. It seemed as if his little brother would be mercilessly teased by the next generation of Weasleys as well. That girly shriek was just too hard to resist.
"Swear on Merlin's wand?"
"All right. Spiders."
The girls looked disappointed. "Spiders?"
Molly snickered. "Uncle Ron is afraid of spiders?"

Hermione spent her Sunday morning in the lounge...slash library. She kept all her historical diaries and books in this room. This was her sanctary where her passion for history was kept alive. Since before she attended Hogwarts, history was her favourite subject, one of her ultimate passions. Twelve years later, she was still sitting through the past in this room, trying to find out the real truth, especially about the magical world. Her husband was very helpful in this area. Ronald Weasley had been born and raised in the magical world but even though Hermione knew more about Magical history than Ron, he still helped with the stories that he heard when he was still in his mother's household.

Remus Lupin was not in a good mood. He was wearing an itchy jumper, his hair stuck into every direction, he had been awake half of the night because of Tonks' snores and on top of that his bones still felt like mashed potatoes after the transformation two days ago.
After struggling with his tie for the fifth time the usually patient werewolf lost it.
"Forget this! I'm not going! I'd bite everybody's head off, maybe even literally and I don't think your parents would like that!"
Tonks stopped hacking her fingers into her muggle device and stared at her soon-to-be-husband; her hair and eyes reflecting her confusion (tomato-red and neon-yellow).
"What are you talking about? Didn't you know that parents of metamorphmagi possess the ability of growing limbs and heads back? It'll be fun!"
Remus threw her a melodramatic don't-try-me-look and collapsed into his favourite, dark green wing chair.
"I'm serious, Dora. If I go in this state they'll probably disinherit you."

Ron came back with a pajama-clad, yawning Harry and a sealed vial. "All right, who are we going to test this on?" he asked eagerly.
Hermione took a deep breath. "It should be me." If there was something in her potion that would, say, cause one to sprout donkey ears within twenty-four hours, she should be the one to carry those consequences. After all, it was her own lying lips that led to this situation. She popped open both vials. The Veritaserum left no impression on her taste buds. The glittery liquid she and Draco had concocted tasted like pineapple.
Ron rubbed his hands together and grinned. "I'm going to ask the first question. Who were you with last night, Hermione?"
"Malfoy." Oh, dear. Whatever the glittery liquid was, it was not Obfuscerum.
Ron and Harry gave each other triumphant looks. "It works, it works, it works!" Ron did a little happy jig.

She still remembers the first time she saw him.
His hair was a light brown almost golden in appearance when hit with the right light. Although she was stricken with his eyes the most.
Really there was something about them. They weren't really green or blue, but rather a combination that seemed to vary from each eye, so one seemed to be greener while the other stayed the palest of blues.
She thought he was pretty, in a way.
Almost endearing with the way his hair fell and his eyes seemed to twinkle with hidden knowledge a bit like Dumbledore's but this man's eyes seemed to be sadder, less jolly and more reserved she would dare to venture kinder even.
She realized he was quite a bit older then her as well, which didn't faze her in the least working were she did she was used to older wizards and really the only bad thing about it was that they could be compared to a piece of day old toast.

The last few minutes of Transfiguration dragged on, but as James glanced up at the clock, he couldn't help but think, Just a few more minutes, please? He knew pleading with the clock was useless. Scorpius sidled closer to his parents while they stood in the steam of the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9¾, waiting for the signal to board.

based on the Harry Potter series written by J K Rowling
The night of the Yule Ball came, Draco was dressing himself in suave black dress robes. He and Pansy Parkinson had headed over to the Great Hall 5 minutes late, as he decided he wanted to be fashionably late, but Pansy wished to be on time. As they entered the door, he passed Weasley and Potter, accompanied by the Patil twins. They were looking up the stairs in awe. Draco followed their eye line and saw Hermione walking down the steps. The next day, Hermione barely noticed the looks and the whispers and the taunts. Pansy Parkinson was so annoyed at being ignored, she set Millicent Bulstrode and Daphne Greengrass on her. While Hermione was pinned to the wall by her shoulders, Parkinson got right in her face. "I know what you are," she hissed. Hermione looked right through her. She couldn't bring herself to care about idiotic schoolgirl nonsense. Parkinson flicked a finger against her forehead. "Are you listening to me?"
"Come along, Pansy, we'll be late for potions." Draco was passing them, looking straight ahead as he spoke. He wore his school robes carelessly today, open all the way down the front to show his summer-weight trousers and loosened tie. His eyes had shadows under them, and his hair needed trimming.
Hermione tried not to react, but Parkinson saw something in her eyes. "

Suddenly, the tiny sound of feet padding along the wooden floors awakened Ginny from her thoughts. After a moment of silence, eight year old Lily's face poked through the door.
Lily was practically identical to her grandmother Lily Potter, in both looks and spirit. Flowing dark red hair, skin the color of milk, a tiny splash of freckles across her nose. In fact, if not for her chocolate brown eyes that resembled her mother's so closely, she would have been a clone of a younger Lily Potter.
