“It began long ago,”
“In a hole in the ground,”
A little hobbit named Bilbo,
His unexpected journey abound.
The light of Durin’s Day, a map and a key,
Would open the door of the home it used to be.
The dwarves of Erebor,
Dragon fire in the sky,
The war would soon end,
Thus the hobbit said goodbye.
Fifty years later,
The story goes on,
The Fellowship was formed,
Their friendships were strong.
Sauron was defeated,
The Fellowship almost failed,
And at the Grey Havens,
There came an end to Frodo’s tale.
The Boy Who Lived,
A wizard at heart,
Even the dark Lord Voldemort,
Couldn’t tear his love for family apart.
He had Ron and Hermione,
We loved him as a friend,
If you stuck with Harry,
Until the very end.
In the forest of District 12,
Katniss and Gale were the hunters at hand,
War broke out before so everyone ran,
And thus The Hunger Games began.
At the reaping it was Primrose’s name,
But Katniss took her

Hermione was in the back room of the book shop when Crookshanks started mewing and pawing at the doorjamb. She peered out at him. "What do you want, fuzzy-butt?" He performed the feline 'follow me' dance until she set down the grimoire she was mending and followed him out into the shop proper.
"May I help you?" M. Martin was asking a teenaged boy.
"I, ah, no parlayvoo Frenchy," the boy said.
"Goodness, Harry, you've grown a foot!" Hermione exclaimed.
Harry, caught in an awkward stage, had grown upwards but not outwards. He still looked wonderful to Hermione, and she didn't mind how bony he was when she hugged him. "Yeah, I had to buy all new jeans because my shins were showing," he said. His hair flopped over his forehe

"What do you think you're doing, Granger?"
"You're doing it wrong! If you just dump all the spider eggs in at once, your cauldron is going to explode."
"I'll have you know that my O.W.L. score in potions was Outstanding."
"Stop being such a Malfoy. Look--"
Draco gave Hermione a small shove. Hermione pushed back. Draco's cauldron hit the floor, spewing blue goo everywhere. They both turned to look at Snape, who was regarding them with a flat stare. "Five points from Gryffindor."
"And none from Slytherin? That's so unfair," Hermione complained.
"And detention for Miss Granger."
The other Slytherins snickered. Draco gave Hermione another small shove. "Serves you right, you uppity, mouthy Muggle-born." She bumped up against another table, dumping Crabbe's cauldron right in his lap.
Snape clutched his forehead and muttered something under his breath. "Detention f

Life has gotten back to normal. It's only been about a month since Lucius died, but Draco and Narcissa are both doing so well now. It all seems to be easier on them already, or at least that's the way they make it seem. Things are definitely feeling like they are back to normal now that Draco and I are living at our own apartment now, I'm back to work at the bookshop, and Narcissa is moved into an apartment down the hall from us. Charlotte Sinclair has been actively involved in Draco and Narcissa's lives over the past month. Draco and Neville have also developed a very strong friendship. Draco hasn't seen or heard Bellatrix in a couple weeks. It seems like everything is starting to relax and return to normal. I close up the bookshop, ending the work day. I have recently changed my store hours so that it's only open from eight in the morning until six in the evening. I would be lying to myself if I were to deny that the change was made so that I could spend more time wi

He found her kneeling on the ground, hands digging up the earth, as usually.
If anyone were to paint a picture with the title "Mother Nature", this would be it, he thought fondly. But then he slowed down in his steps. I wonder whether she´s angry at me...
He had promised to help her repotting the Devil´s Snares. However, an accident at Potions Class had kept him at the Hospital Wing the whole morning and it was only now that he had found the time to walk down to the Greenhouse.
Coming closer, the expression on her face made him hesitate somewhat more. Helga without a smile was like Rowena without brains. It scared him. Could she really be so upset about a missed appointment? But then again, the cold, logical voice inside his head told him, he had a good reason to have missed it. So why was he feeling so guilty?
"What are you planting?" He had closed the distance of the last few meters in haste and was slightly out of breath.

The dark haired teen looked relieved. "Thanks, Hermione. It's important, somehow. Well, good night. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Good night, Harry," Hermione said with a smile, but when he had disappeared, she frowned. "I think there might be a reason why you want to protect him, Harry," she murmured in the dark of the room, before she too went to her bed. This needed thought.
"Harry, quit staring. It's getting obvious now."
Harry turned his head to Hermione, a sheepish smile on his face. "I'm sorry. It's just… I don't know. I'm completely out of sorts."
Hermione frowned. "What's wrong?"
Harry shook his head. "Not here. Later, right?"
The girl nodded, knowing they would head up, since the first Quidditch match started today. It was too painful for the dark haired teen to watch the game, even though he loved it, so they decided to have a study session. But Hermione already knew it

Arthur was slowly cleaning out his desk, getting ready for his move to the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects.
He was feeling a touch nostalgic, to be honest. He had always loved working for the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office.
He took the last spark plugs out of his drawer and placed it carefully in the box with his other things, turning his attention to the top of his desk. There wasn't much there that needed moving, except for the picture of his family. He picked it up for a moment and smiled to himselfmore nostalgia, as the photo was a few years old, with Molly having a different hairstyle and Ron being

It was oddly heavy in his hand. His thumb traced mindlessly over the fine filigree on its surface as it had done a thousand times over the past week. He imagined his skin removing the silver, particle by particle - removing her initials, removing her memory. He slowly eased the locket open.
The two halves snapped together before Godric even touched his shoulder, and the locket disappeared with some sleight of hand before Godric spoke.
"Salazar, please reconsider."
Godric had been repeating that phrase for the past seven days - in anger, in friendship, in exasperation. Now, in desperation. Salazar ignored the warm hand and continued stuffing his saddlebags.
He didn't need Godric to tell him what was right, and what was wrong. The way she had reacted, had been wrong. The way his "friends" had made light of her contempt for all of them, had been wrong. That they wanted that filth to remain here,

"Honestly, Draco, why do you know so much advanced magic?"
Draco had Hermione by the hand, and he was leading her through a narrow alley to the back of the church. He knows I'm as good as he is, these days." They paused before the rectory door. "Ready?" he asked as he reached for the lion-headed door-knocker.
"No. But go ahead." Hermione didn't ask what was going on. She was pretty sure she knew.

The next day, Hermione barely noticed the looks and the whispers and the taunts. Pansy Parkinson was so annoyed at being ignored, she set Millicent Bulstrode and Daphne Greengrass on her. While Hermione was pinned to the wall by her shoulders, Parkinson got right in her face. "I know what you are," she hissed. Hermione looked right through her. She couldn't bring herself to care about idiotic schoolgirl nonsense. Parkinson flicked a finger against her forehead. "Are you listening to me?"

Hermione tried not to react, but Parkinson saw something in her eyes. "

Dusty sunlight filled the bedroom slowly and covered all things inside with a soft glow. Unfortunately nobody noticed this silent magic, since both inhabitants of the king-size bed were fully asleep.
After some time, a thin finger of warmth reached Draco´s nose-tip. He furrowed his brow but kept taking deep and regular breaths. Astoria shifted slightly beside him which resulted in her elbow resting against his delicate chin. His frown deepened noticeably and an uncharacteristic snore escaped his lips. Awakened by this rude sound, his eyelids started to flutter and consciousness began to invade his formerly peaceful body.
At once an avalanche of perceptions washed over him: The unbearably bright sunlight, the birds singing outside, his right arm being smothered by himself and of course, that offensive specimen of bone stabbing his face.
He turned onto his back - a movement that lead to even more unbidden consciousness and made him remember the answers to the que

Spinning and swirling to a systematic halt?
Would you climb to a mountain majestically high,
Raise your eyes up to the finite electric universe,
And reflect on the redemption of a death so diverse.
Veins line the black with faults of blood,
And I can hear the crazed howls of horror,
Erupt up from the centre of an empty Earth.
Screams swell to scorch the skies above me,
Where sunlight fades to freeze the faces I see.
What would you do if the world finished,
Falling and frolicking to a fatalistic end?
Would you swim to a sea seductively low,
Embrace your demise in that endless dark space,
And regret on the reclamation of a pitiless place.
Bones cover the gray with scars of greed,
And I can hear the fazed sighs of sorrow,
Burst forth from the core of an eccentric Earth.
Calls condemn to curse the cries around me,
Where twilight dies to damn the dead I free.
