Taking my Time A few days later, she found him at Apollo's Café, sitting at a table and looking as though he was trying desperately to keep his mind off their impending date he had asked her on. 'Probably fears the worst. All things considered, can't say I blame him ' she thought to herself, idly smoothing the black leather of her dress. She was grateful that Dr. Chakwas had held onto her old dress from when she aided Kasumi in recovering Keiji's graybox. 'That PVC dress in my closet that Traynor found ' she suppressed a shudder at how downright unflattering that dress looked. Traynor had good intentions in adding that to Samus' wardrobe, but this one was more stunning, to say the very least. She sauntered over to the empty spot at the table he was sitting at, her black lace pumps clicking with each step. She stopped just before the chair he was occupying.Taking my Time2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Kaidan ?" she asked
At Last, a Reply... Kaidan found himself thankful that it was dark by the time he had reached his apartment. Granted, it was only midday, but the atmosphere had clouded over in anticipation for a storm, leaving little light that managed to break through the clouds. The lighting seemed appropriate, given his melancholy mood, he thought to himself as he made his way through his apartment. He hadn't bothered clicking on any of the lights when he came home- the natural light coming from the window didn't quite fill the apartment, but it was enough to see where he was going. His weary eyes scanned the space, lingering on his black couch for a moment, trying not to think of when Olivea had cuddled against him there, shortly after the Battle of the Citadel, before his gaze came to rest on his work desk, a soft sigh finally breaking past his lips.At Last, a Reply...3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

"It's just a cold Mary Margret." Emma said, her voice sounding odd courtesy of the stuffy nose. She tossed the tissue into the garbage and laid back down on the stacked pillows behind her head. Mary Margret stroked the hair back behind Emma's ear.
"But it's the first one you've had since the curse broke." She replied, sounding sad. Emma frowned. "So?" She coughed again, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. Mary Margret cocked her head. "It's the first time I've had to take care of you like this…Ever in my life." Emma groaned again. "I don't need you to take care of me. I need to go to sleep." Mary Margret looked hurt so she replied. "Could

Kaycee drapes her arm over her daughter's shoulders. She can scarcely believe how quickly she's grown up. Just seems like yesterday that Ayrene was barely up to her knees, now a tall, slender, beautiful woman stands beside her. She gives her an affectionate squeeze, "So what do you think sweetie? I told you that I would take you dancing for your eighteenth birthday. This place good enough?"
Ayrene's eyes take in the flashing lights, the pounding music, the dancing patrons, and she smiles. "You really are the coolest dad ever. Mom would completely freak if she knew you brought me here."
Kaycee imagines the fury that would come down on her if her wife knew where they were. She shudders at the thought, "Don't remind me Aya. Now, shall we have some fun?"
She guides Ayrene over to the bar, raising a hand in greeting to the Turian bartender. "Raker! Long time no see!"
"Good to see you Shepard." He glances over at Ayrene. "Friend of y

Little Syren Shepard opens her eyes sleepily, gently rubbing the sleep from them. She glances around her room, the pale orange light of the sunrise peaking through her curtains. She carefully hops off her bed, wrapping her blanket around her shoulders from the cold, and picks up her teddy bear, Athena. Syren shuffles over to the curtains and peeks around them, standing on tiptoe to see over the window sill. A small gasp escapes from her, followed by a quiet giggle. White, as far as the eye can see, the entire countryside covered in a thick blanket of snow. Realizing that it's Christmas morning, Syren quietly shuffles out of her bedroom, moving one door down on the right, "Aya? You awake?"
Her big sister is sitting in her bed, reading a holo-comic, clad in red sweatpants and sweatshirt. She looks up at Syren, "Well, good morning and merry christmas Sy."
"Mewwy Chwistmas Aya."
"Anyone else awake yet?"
"I dunno. But it snowed outside."

I didn't want to go super overboard with details-if you're a Mass Effect fan you'll be able to imagine the extras and fill in the blanks.
EDIT: So, after getting back into Mass Effect 3, I realized that I'd made a little mistake with my ending here.
That is that 'war assets' are more important then 'galactic readiness' so, consider that as a part of what get's you a respective ending too.

"I tried, Shepard." The Illusive Man said, as he placed the barrel of his pistol to his head and pulled the trigger.
His limp body fell onto the floor, and Shepard watched as his cold, steel-blue eyes went dark.
" Shepard!...-an you me?" Admiral Hackett's voice filled her head.
"This is Shepard, what is it Admiral?" She said into her radio, her free hand putting pressure on her wound. This was all too surreal; almost three years ago she had the same conversation with Saren, the rogue Turian Spectre who has become indoctrinated by the Reaper Sovereign. She was able to convince Saren of his indoctrination, but like the Illusive Man, he was far too gone.

Ashley Williams walked towards the Embassy lounge. The knowledge of Shepard's victory lingered in her head. Just a few days ago Councilor Anderson notified her of Shepard's victory over the Collector's and his betrayal of Cerberus. She felt like an idiot. Even more so when she learned that Garrus, Tali, Joker and Chakwas joined him in his mission. Why did she say those things on Horizon?
Of course she probably screwed up any chance to be with him. She grew fond of him during their mission to take down Saren, but he didn't seem to express the same interest. She always assumed he had a thing with Liara. Or so the rumors went. Maybe she now has the opportunity to find out. Though there was a whole new rumor about who he was with, but it was too crazy to be true.
Ash entered the lounge. It was pretty empty. It only took a quick scan to see Shepard's table. With him were Tali and Garrus. Ash cringed. It was almost like fate was rubbing

"You're in my shot. Move to the side."
Jane Shepard winced at the menace in Garrus' voice. She stood in the middle of the wards on the Citadel, in front of a turian who Garrus had every reason to hate. She was in her full gear, weapons and all, but the man in front of her was in civilian clothes, completely unarmed, just like most of the people in the wards. Usually she felt fine as she walked through the Citadel; hell, even on the Presidium she didn't feel out of place.
But today was different. When Garrus asked her to help him kill Sidonis, she agreed because it would help him close the door on a section of his life that tormented him every day. She knew how Garrus felt because she had done the same thing with the things of her past. After Akuze, Shepard was haunted by all the things she could have done differently. She found ways to close those doors, and now she thought that

Two years later after Shepard had left the council due to all the political bullshit (if he accepted the offer), Shepard wakes up and looks to his right to see Tali laying there beside him her eyes closed and breathing softly, with her mask off and was cuddled up close to Shepard.

"The Quarian Admiralty board wants to talk to you and Tali about the recent news you dropped on them," Edi said.

The door chimed and slid open. Shepard was not surprised to see the doctor standing at her master computer terminal. The Broker's AI, Glyph, approached the entry, but Shepard waved it away, irritated.
"Hello, Shepard", the asari finally said, looking up. "What can I do for you?"
The marine did her best to hide her growing frustration. She and Liara weren't exactly strangers. Somehow, though, despite finally being aboard the same ship, the asari seemed very distant.
The door slid shut behind her. The afforded privacy did not inspire Liara to leave the terminal.

Ducking his head further into his armor, Garrus unconsciously backed up a step, but Shepard had him in her sights. Uncomfortable, the turian's shifting glances focused on the stars passing out beyond the safety of the ship.

He had a wife named Masha and a daughter Svetlana, whom he loved very much, and they all lived together in a harsh cold land. Outside was snowy and dark, but inside there was laughter and light. The inventor made many things to keep them safe and entertained, clockwork flowers and robots with shimmering microcircuits. Robots to fight and kill the howling terrors outside.
One day, the inventor's beloved wife fell ill; she became weak and frail, unable to sit up or even speak. He spent hours by her bedside with expensive medicines traded in town, while his little daughter would sit in the hydroponic garden and weep, fearing for her mother's life. When she was close to death, the inventor retired to his workshop, leaving only to feed his wife her medicine, and tuck his daughter in at night. For three days he did not sleep or eat, but at their conclusion he had finished his desperately constructed device. A glass coffin perched upon a metal cube,

Serving on the same ship during said Reaper invasion while putting your relationship or what was left of it- on hold was even less so. Still, he had expected her to hate him.

In 2187, the four main Council races decided, in light of the massive devastation in the galaxy, to open their ranks to many other races, realizing that their main weakness before the war was not being unified against their foe. No longer did they take the condescending attitude that they showed for so long, instead welcoming others with open arms.
The first three races to be accepted that year were the Volus, the Krogan, and the Quarians. Each of these races more than proved themselves during the Reaper War. To prevent any "bloodshed" or worse, Urdnot Bakara was chosen as the Krogan Councilor, to keep the peace between the Krogan and the Salarians. Admiral Tali'Zorah was nominated for the Quarian people but she respectfully declined, giving the position to Admiral Zaal'Koris instead.
