11 Hours before assault on Beam FOB Charlie London
Delta and Seryna followed the two scout teams out of the compound, Delta looked up at the grey sky of London and sighed, no rest for the wicked he thought, and when he lowered his gaze he turned to Seryna who smiled in response as if she had read his thoughts.
A troop transport waited for them at the gates, it would be taking them to the drop off and then return to the new FOB, Kodiaks were prepped and ready to be loaded with personnel and equipment, everyone was on edge, in eleven hours the biggest fleet ever assembled would be at the gates of earth, and it was up to the three scout teams to insure they weren't going in blind, Delta looked up once more and spotted the citadel, it had come in last night for reasons unknown, and that was their job, to find out why it was here and what the Reapers were doing with it.

"No, no, no, no, noooooo!!!!" Traynor screamed over and over again as her fingers flew across the interface desperately trying to re-establish contact with Commander Shepard's armor bio-signal. Tears she did not feel flowed freely from her eyes trailing down her flushed cheeks and dripping off her chin. "No, no, no! Pleeeeease!"
For the last few hours, as Task Force Hammer assaulted the Reaper beam location in London, the Normandy was back in space helping destroy Reapers. Joker made the frigate dance between missiles and energy beams getting in close enough for the Thanix cannons to blast off large chunks of the monstrous ships. The violent maneuvering stressed the ship's artificial gravity to its limits, and Samantha often found herself holding on to her console for dear life.
EDI chastised her several times for not being strapped into her safety seat, but S

"Your investigation is over, Garrus" Executor Pallin barely finished the sentence before walking away, waving his hand in dismissal.
The words stung; abject failure over damned classified documents. A thin growl escaped his throat at the realization. He'd be demoted. Not only for failing to find evidence but also for butting heads too often with Executor Pallin. Hot blood flushed under his plating, making them slightly swell and push against his armor. The heat pointed his thoughts into sharp accusations. How dare he! Executor or not, no one should forbid access to critical evidence. No way in hell was he going to let Pallin step over him on the largest case he had ever received. Footsteps

Chapter 34 Samara
The three of them got to a cab which took them to the spaceport. With the unknown asari driver sitting in the same car, Shepard apparently was not willing to speak about their work, so they sat in silence. When they reached the spaceport, they immediately spotted some unusual commotion between an asari and a volus, who was escorted by two turian bodyguards.
"Where do you think you're going?" the asari asked sternly.
"I'm taking my goods to Omega, detective," the short, round alien replied.
"You're not going anywhere, merchant," the official replied. "Not until I solve this murder."
The idea of police investigation sparked a sudden interest in Garrus. As much as he had hated working under the strict rules of C-Sec, he had enjoyed the knowledge that they had been locking up criminals and making the galaxy safer.
"I had nothing to do with that!" the volus argued. Garrus could see Shepard squinting her eyes, and he got the feeling she was thinking

Commander Shepard wasn't present on the deck. Amidst the beeps of technicians typing at their stations, Kelly had the wry idea that he was down in Engineering spending time with a certain Quarian.
I'm glad they got together, they're both such wonderful people, She thought to herself glancing over at his Console. They're so cute.
Her thoughts at that moment turned to the ships newest... "Crew Member", and what was to be done in regards to it.
I mean... I trust Shepard, he knows exactly what he's doing... but a Geth? Activating a Geth on the ship?
Kelly had examined the psychology of all the Crew carefully. Jack, Grunt and Zaeed had made her uneasy with their presence, but she could understand them a to a certain degree.

Taking my Time A few days later, she found him at Apollo's Café, sitting at a table and looking as though he was trying desperately to keep his mind off their impending date he had asked her on. 'Probably fears the worst. All things considered, can't say I blame him ' she thought to herself, idly smoothing the black leather of her dress. She was grateful that Dr. Chakwas had held onto her old dress from when she aided Kasumi in recovering Keiji's graybox. 'That PVC dress in my closet that Traynor found ' she suppressed a shudder at how downright unflattering that dress looked. Traynor had good intentions in adding that to Samus' wardrobe, but this one was more stunning, to say the very least. She sauntered over to the empty spot at the table he was sitting at, her black lace pumps clicking with each step. She stopped just before the chair he was occupying.Taking my Time3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

The batarian behind him snorted, but eased up on the needle and Vega let out a sigh of relief. He'd been sitting here, in one of the cargo containers serving as temporary housing, for over an hour. The interior stank of stale sweat and sour chemicals and Vega wondered what this container had held before it was emptied out, hoping it hadn't been anything toxic. The buzz of many, many voices echoed strangely inside the container. The refugee camp held more and more people each time Vega came down here. Soon it would be full, then overcrowded. A sharp jab interrupted his thoughts. He gritted his teeth, inhaling sharply, but said nothing. Although the batarians were much more tolerant without the Hegemony breathing down their necks, he didn't want to test his tattooist's patience; he might end up with an image of some krogan's balls inked on his skin instead of the N7 insignia.

John Shepard was approaching the Normandy when he was approached by his captain.
"Captain Anderson," he said with a salute. "Is there something you need?"
"At ease soldier, just wanted to chat," answered Anderson. John relaxed and immediately took notice of the women who was walking up behind him. Anderson took notice of his expression and said "Shepard, meet Jane Hiller. She's an alliance soldier like you and will be joining us on this mission."
"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you in person Shepard," she said while putting her hand out, albeit a little shaky.
John noticing this asked, "Is there something wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Jane having heard his statement snapped her mind back into reality. "Sorry, it's just you look like someone I know. Don't worry, it's alright," she said trying to sound reassuring.
In her mind things were not alright. She had not been expecting to see someone working on the Normandy with the same last n

Lieutenant Elena T'Soni shot through the cold night air over Zoryas' southern continent. The E-HALO (extreme high-altitude-low-opening) drop started on the very edge of space and brought her plummeting toward the ground at incredible speeds. Her commando leathers were so form fitting they never once fluttered in the intense slip stream or created any drag at all for the Asari Marine. Her HUD (heads-up display) told her she was slightly off track of glide path for the LZ (landing zone). She expertly tweaked her hands and feet and was soon on the proper course again. Now she tilted forward, her head straight down and formed herself into a living missile, she even pointed her toes in a nod to her ballet instructors from her youth.
She smiled in pure joy and exhilaration as she dove toward the waiting dark

Aboard the Normandy, it was night and all the lights and sounds in the almost empty ship seemed muffled. As EDI could pretty much handle everything alone, they needed only a few crew members at this time. Jane Shepard loved to go through her ship at this time. Every night she visited the departments and decks, enjoyed the quiet hum until she was exhausted so that her mind had to surrender to her body and she finally could sleep.
How do you sleep, when the survival of all depended on you? Shepard knew the answer. Rarely, restless and full of terrible nightmares. She waited as long as she could, often beyond the limits of exhaustion and then only because it was necessary, because otherwise it would jeo

"I tried, Shepard." The Illusive Man said, as he placed the barrel of his pistol to his head and pulled the trigger.
His limp body fell onto the floor, and Shepard watched as his cold, steel-blue eyes went dark.
" Shepard!...-an you me?" Admiral Hackett's voice filled her head.
"This is Shepard, what is it Admiral?" She said into her radio, her free hand putting pressure on her wound. This was all too surreal; almost three years ago she had the same conversation with Saren, the rogue Turian Spectre who has become indoctrinated by the Reaper Sovereign. She was able to convince Saren of his indoctrination, but like the Illusive Man, he was far too gone.

Liara was happy and occasionally caught herself staring out the sliding kitchen doors that opened to the huge porch that over looked the big back yard which ended at the shores of the crystal clear glacial lake. A lake named Lake Shepard, much to her husband's chagrin. On the other side of the lake snow-capped mountains towered over everything, reaching into the clear, azure sky. It was breath-taking.
Her lithe figure moved gracefully around the kitchen as she gathered items and mentally ticked off nutritional values. She loved it when she got home in time to do this, but her duties usually held her

I didn't want to go super overboard with details-if you're a Mass Effect fan you'll be able to imagine the extras and fill in the blanks.
EDIT: So, after getting back into Mass Effect 3, I realized that I'd made a little mistake with my ending here.
That is that 'war assets' are more important then 'galactic readiness' so, consider that as a part of what get's you a respective ending too.

She carefully hops off her bed, wrapping her blanket around her shoulders from the cold, and picks up her teddy bear, Athena. Syren shuffles over to the curtains and peeks around them, standing on tiptoe to see over the window sill. A small gasp escapes from her, followed by a quiet giggle. White, as far as the eye can see, the entire countryside covered in a thick blanket of snow. Realizing that it's Christmas morning, Syren quietly shuffles out of her bedroom, moving one door down on the right, "Aya? You awake?"
Her big sister is sitting in her bed, reading a holo-comic, clad in red sweatpants and sweatshirt. She looks up at Syren, "Well, good morning and merry christmas Sy."

"Anyone else awake yet?"
"I dunno. But it snowed outside."
