The oath gives speed
Horses and riders tall
The sparkling shield
On bloody field
We answer Gondor's call!
Kisses to wives
The last goodbyes
Who returns, we don't know
This is the day
When we can't stay
The King calls, we follow
The sea of spears
The sun sheds tears
Eorlingas ride to war
To the red day
To glory, fame
In the ancestors' hall!

It didn't matter which twin you chose right? As long as one went to help with Tamaki...right?
You knew the difference between the twins, you knew they were individuals as much as you and Haruhi were as well as twins. You could tell them apart with ease, and never failed at the 'which one is Hikaru game'. Maybe that's why the three of you were so close... But anyway, even though you knew they were different, that didn't impact on your choice. Why would it, it's not like you had a preference for one of them... right...?
Shaking your head to get rid of the thoughts that were clouding your mind and causing you to blush ever so slightly, you picked an arm to loosen. Gently you withdrew your arm that was linked with Kaoru's ever so slightly.
The boys eyes flicked towards you at the movement, understanding your choice. He nodded at you, taking his arm back completely. He turned to face Haruhi and jogged off to go help her.
"Well well, it's just you and me huh?" Hikar

The boys' eyes widened at your hostile tone; your voice had come out as a low growl due to your throat being dry from lack of water. The short, black haired man seemed unfazed by your hostility and continued to stare at you with cold eyes.
"We seek shelter," the black haired man replied in a monotone voice. His grey eyes continued to bore into yours as he slightly nodded his head in the direction where Jean sat. "We have an injured soldier who needs medical aid."
You ceased the staring contest with the short man after a moment of silence, by throwing your dagger into the ground by your bare feet. You let out a grunt and curtly nodded your head at the men.
"(First Name)," you said simply.
The black haired man remained silent for a moment, before replying in a bored tone, "Levi."
"I'm Eren Jaeger," the brunette said.
"Jean Kirschtein," the injured one said, smirking at you.
"A-Armin Arlert," the blonde one stuttered.

BathingIn the quiet forests of Doriath, the sunlight was falling dappled through the leaves high above. The birds were singing, the branches were rustling, small animals were hopping happily through the undergrowth. A slight breeze whispered through the trees, and a small brook murmured nearby. Galadriel, however, was unable to enjoy it.
"I feel disgusting," she complained, pulling sharply on her reins to steer her horse around a small bush. "Do you people never wash?"
Her Sindar guides looked offended, but were unsure how to respond. She was a high lady of the Noldor, after all. As usual when in need of guidance, they turned to their lord.
Celeborn sighed quietly and gave Galadriel a mild smile. "We will be in Menegroth very soon, my lady. Be assured that King Thingol's halls have very beautiful baths."
A frown marred the loveliness of Galadriel's face. "We will be in Menegroth in two days. I feel disgusting now." She huffed out a breath and pulled her

One and Whole- Frodo and Sam's reunion Sam had managed to ride out of Hobbiton unnoticed. He just had to get to Tower Hills now, give the Red Book to Elanor, and then leave. There was nothing left for him in The Shire now that his wife Rose had passed away, and Samwise was nearing it himself. The hole in his heart had grown ever larger, and though he did not show it, he was getting more and more depressed. His children were all grown up now, and some of them were married and had children of their own.One and Whole- Frodo and Sam's reunion2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
But he was ready to leave that behind.
Today was Mr. Bilbo and Mr. Frodo's birthday, and he could not bear being apart from his master any longer. He wished now that he had jumped onto the boat and gone with him, but one cannot change the past.
A new feeling of desperation came over Samwise. He had to get there. He kicked his elderly pony, Bill, who's life had been incredibly long, and they rode off, with a new-found determination.
At last, he arrived at Tower Hills. He trotted up to his daughter's home,

Today was a day dedicated to training, every recruit was to train in hand-to-hand combat by order of Commander Erwin. The training was to be conducted with partners. You dressed yourself in your uniform, harnesses and all and headed out of your room. On your walk to the training ground, a voice called your name and you spun around to meet the familiar voice.
"Hey, ______! Wait up!"
"Oh, good morning Armin!" you greeted the small blonde haired boy.
"Good morning! Are you heading off to the training grounds now?" You nodded. "May I walk with you? Eren's run off of me this morning and I don't know where Mikasa is either. Eren seemed very eager to start training today," he explained to you.
"Sure. I could use some company," you told him while donning your warmest smile.
The two of you walked, conversing the whole way to the grounds. He told you stories about his favourite books and auth

"Elwing " Celeborn attempted to console his young relative, but she refused to be comforted.
"You left them! You left and now they're gone." The young elith collapsed on the ground, sobbing. She clutched her stomach, fighting the physical agony which assailed her. Agony and guilt. She should have been there. She should have made certain her brothers were following. She should not have left them.
The attack happened so fast she could barely separate the jumbled, nightmarish events, but it seemed like slow motion at the time. The elves of Doriath knew that a battle with the sons of Feanor was possible. Elwing's father, King Dior refused to relinquish the silmaril he had inherited from his parents. They were prepared to defend Doriath, but they were not prepared for the savage brutality of the Noldor. The Noldor killed without conscience.

She excelled in chorus and sport. Her voice was tintinnabulous, like ringing silver bells or a running silver stream. When asked to read aloud in class, she never stumbled over words, not even Shakespeares: in fact, she acted lines in Shakespeare with great skill and comprehension, baffling her teachers.
Ruth Cisneros thought quite highly of her own abilities. She drew her ancestry from Charlemagne, though some might argue that the relative whod founded her family line was not a child of Charlemagne, and did not, in fact, exist.

Three childish words I haven't said in a while,
Three words I never knew the meaning of,
Until you put a hook in my heart and pulled,
I want you,
Like magnets want each other,
Their complete and utter opposite,
Only no matter what way you flip me,
I want you,
Like fire wants something to burn,
Like the way music needs someone to dance to it,
Like the way heats makes you crave someone to love,
I want you like killers want war because that's all they know,
That's all they're good at,
I want you,
But I never said need because with time this might fade,
Which is why this isn't love,
But since I can't seem to pull myself away,
I want you,
It'd be like a nuclear explosion,
Another big bang,
We'd make our own universe that was formed by the trails of fire your fingers leave on my skin,
I want you,
I'm sure it's not healthy,
But I don't care at all right now,
Because all I feel is a demanding presence of I want you,
And the acute awareness of the places we could be,
So that even if

Scenery: First Age, Lake Mithrim, after the rescue from Thangorodrim
We're riding on horseback through the autumn forest, biting up the leaves. They are rustling and giving off a scent – wet and somewhat bitter. Findekano calls them: oak leaves. I take it on trust because I have forgotten the names of many things.
My cousin is keeping beside me all the time – he is afraid I can't handle the reins.
I cannot get used at all to how long his hair has become. If braided it runs down almost to the saddle and if loose even further down. A river of hair. When Findekano puts on his helm he winds it around his head and pins at the back of his neck. It looks very funny. Like a pie. I'd be glad to do the same but it's a long way to the pie for me – my disheveled locks barely reach my shoulders and below the ears curl relentlessly.
"Are you not tired?"
Finyo's braids and the whole mass of his hair are bouncing as he goes and from the very start of the ride I've been

There was a feeling of pity in sitting heavy in your stomach.. and your chest. You sat outside of the closed off door and leaned against the frame. The sight was burned into your memory. Erwin had been so covered in blood, no one could tell if it was from a wound of his own or from the comrades falling around him. It was disturbing when a shaky voice called out his name, and he didn't move, he didn't look like he was breathing. Your mind began to swim in hysteria again before you opened your eyes and took a breath. You were safe in the building, he was safe in the building.. He was alive. You honestly struggled to remember how Levi had found the both of you as quickly as he did, but.. Thank God for that little man. A sharp exhale pushed through your lips as you turned around and opened the door quietly, catching sight of Levi sitting on a stool next to a steel bathtub. Erwin still being unconscious, Levi took it upon himself to take care of the commander.

I once heard his name
It whispered over the ground
It was as of he was god
I was just a young girl
But little did I know
That this name
Would change everything I knew
Was he real?
Was he not?
I hope we shall never know
For knowing ruins myths, hopes and legends
He was the greatest man
And an even better warrior
He left the greatest story, one that evokes feeling
He won twelve battles
Then vanished into the mists
His horse, army, sword and world
Vanished as quickly as they came
He did what none will ever do again
He united the most unlikely people
They fought for land just beginning to shine
They stood against the darkest of armies
For a cause only a small band of knights understood
Sometimes when I walk alone in the mists
When all is quiet and only a horse can be herd
I swear I can see him, and feel them
Upon a hill far ahead
There is ghostly figure
A legendary man astride a great white stallion
