To Put DmC in PerspectiveA slight rant on looking at Capcom’s reboot in a new, more positive way.
Two years. It has been two years since the first time DmC was announced and still progress has been slow. I’m not talking about the developers; in fact they have been working their arses off to release trailers, interviews and demos for the public. No, I’m talking about the supposed ‘fans’ of the series that have nothing better to do than hate on what I believe to be a perfectly good game. Sure, there has been a lot of change to what was once known as a cheesy, style-filled, eastern designed franchise, to now being a more contemporary and modern take by a western company, but a change might have been needed.
if you managed to make it this far through this entry without pressing the back button, you’ll read about some of the more updated issues ‘fans’ seem to be having, as well as different perspectives on said problems. Sometimes taking a

And honestly, I'm not feeling it. Doug Walker (aka The Nostalgia Critic) has been doing a series where he's been vlogging his experience watching the original Avatar series for the first time (Take a look they're actually really good go watch them! http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/specials ). He's a new fan to the series and his enthusiasm and critique of the original series has only helped to intensify my loathing and hatred of The Legend of Korra's disastrous season finally.
The more I remember how amazing and awesome the original Avatar series is, the less I am interested in picking up the pieces and following these unlikable characters through another series of exploits, especially after haphazardly killing off the main villain in such a clumsy and awkward way. Not only that, but there's no growth to the main character at all. There's no journey of her learning how to be an Air Bender the way there was

Ahem. Here we go then.
This has been on my mind lately. Love. What is it? Edible? Profitable? Portable?
I honestly don't know. Since young, I've had an introspective personality with no desire to talk to other kids of the same age.
Much less of the male variety. Ah, but don't get me wrong! I watched and read a lethal amount of romance stories like every normal girl. Evolving from Disney to shoujo manga and so on. I can't really say why, but I loved love and yet had no reality based interest in it.
(Unhealthy, I know.) I remember a conversation between my parents and I (age 10) going something like this.
"Any boys you like at school, Juliet?"
"Yeah, they can be pretty immature at that age."
"No no, I'm gonna be a spinster. An oooold spinster."
Granted, my parents were taken back a bit. "Did she mean it? Is she broken? Can we fix her? More importantly, how does she know what a spinster is?
What's in YOUR Shepard's bathroom?I found this prompt in one of my writing reference books. Basically, in order to get to know a character better, you go into their bathroom and nose through their stuff. SO, here's what you can find in Dakota's:What's in YOUR Shepard's bathroom?3 years ago in Personal More Like This
pumpkin scented shower-gel
mint green mini-rubber ducky that sits on her sink
lavender bar-soap by sink
pastel green toothbrush
pale pink strawberry flavored lip-gloss
eye drops for tired, over-worked eyes
oversized lavender bath towel
pastel green bathrobe
autumn-scented moisturizing cream
pile of laundry
lavender terrycloth bath mat
The ducky was a joke from one of her ME2 squaddies, not sure who, not sure why. Also-bet you can't ever guess what her favorite color is...
And the EA servers are trolling again.

Ry is one awkward turtle when it comes to physical greetings. I didn't even have to do physical greetings when I was younger, but now we need to handshake, bro shake, bro fist bump, high 5, hug, hug and peck on the cheeks, suck each other off..... OMG and its different greetings for different types of people, you need to look out for culture, age, relationship, gender, the gender THEY relate better to. WHY ISH IT SO COMPLICATED? Why can't we just agree to ONE greeting for everybody? @_____@" I was born in an Asian family and their greetings consists of waving and nodding, simple! I liked that, I like the fact that there's no sort of physical contact, I tell you why I like that... its not because I am unfriendly, but the fact that I don't think my friends has washed their hands after jerking off. :I Oh yeah, you think guys wash their hands after choking the chicken? Think again mate. The most they would do is probably use a piece of tissue and wipe
PAX DisappointmentI don't enjoy Penny Arcade. I have my reasons, after all we all have things we like and don't like. For the same reason I'm cool with people disliking my work (providing they leave me alone about it), I'm cool with letting people enjoy Penny Arcade while I continue to ignore it's existence.PAX Disappointment2 years ago in Personal More Like This
But Penny Arcade isn't just a comic strip anymore. It's also a convention. A BIG convention that a lot of comic and gaming industry people flock to. It's become one of the bigger conventions in America outside of Wizard World and San Diego/New York Comic Con.
Recently Penny Arcade did a joke with rape as the punchline. That's downright offensive and disgusting in my books and I'm on the side of a lot of people who found it equally offensive and insensitive. But freedom of speech and all that, it's not a series I enjoy so I normally wouldn't even be talking about it...
Except that things kinda escalated and took a turn for the worse...
First the Penny Arcade people started mocking rape victims and an
How I became a SessKik fanHey everyone! How I became a SessKik fan3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I'm still busy finishing the commissions in the wait list and working on other projects, but I finally finished this journal with the story of how I became a SessKik fan. I had promised to write it a long time ago, so I'm very glad I'm finally posting it. I had to cut some parts because it was becoming too long and confusing, so those are not all my reasons. I may write a SessKik Frequently Asked Questions to mention other aspects. ^-^
Alright, so I think most of you've already noticed how much I like Sesshoumaru and Kikyou together. XD And I frequently receive comments asking me why, especially because they are not a canon couple.
First, I want to say I think people are free to like any pairings, canon or not, and nobody should say how you should create your fanart/fanfictions. They are just fictional characters after all. However, I personally can't go too far away from the canon. The original story is very important for me.
So, why do I pair Sessho

The Yaoi Fandom
Important: Read below first
Now, before I even begin to explain this, I’d like to first say that if you cannot get past even the first few paragraphs, you are probably one of the people I am referring to in this. If you happen to get to the end of this I urge you to spread this around. If you are not mature enough mentally or emotionally to handle the content, then turn back now, as you will be offended. This is not a joke and should not be taken lightly; I’ve been watching anime and reading manga long enough that my statements in this are true as can be, and I see an issue. I would also like to state up front that I am not referring to the soft-core fans, or those who just like it a little bit. No, I am referring to those who openly and constantly love and obsess over hardcore yaoi, those who even bash straight pairings and need a daily fix of yaoi fan-fiction; those are the ones who I am referring to in this case.
Even if this i

please do not take this suggestion as an ugly snide.
I am Christian, but I am sure you know that,
because throughout my poetry, I make this a fact.
And looking back, I've realized a mistake,
as a one sided position I have seemed to take.
I preach tolerance on my side, from a Christian stance,
and remain unaware that you too maliciously advance.
Like some Christians, you hate, you're ugly and cruel,
you judge without knowing, and are quick to assume,
that we want you all dead, and wish you to hell,
you jump to conclusions at the ring of a bell.
To you we're just zealots, we're all just the same,
and you make it a point to insult our holy name.
I think it funny how you want our respect,
yet some of you proclaim our religion to be a simple jest.
And yes we have radicals, just like you,
but I think it's time we discern the difference, don't you?
To not like does not mean to hate, nor does it mean to despise,
to put it in words, we simply
