These are a pair of fake gauge earrings! They make it look like the tentacle is going through your ear, but they work like normal earrings.
This pair was a test to try out a new shape for the gauges because I wanted to make an earring that could be worn in more than one way. It was very successful, but I think the new ones will look even better and be fun colors~(but I also like the white!)
You can order a pair like these in any color combination you want! Including glow in the dark for only $20 plus around $3 shipping to anywhere in the US~ Pay pal only~

My second large necklace and fake gauge earring set. This is the largest necklace I've ever made. It is about 5 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. Easily the size of my hand. I got a little carried away~ Some tentacle bling, that's for sure!
But as always, it was light weight and I believe the chain I chose for it brings the whole piece together. It was a blast to make, but a pain to glaze! Haha. I decided to work on blending the clays togehter in what is known as a Skinner Blend and am happy with the results.
Polymer clay and polyurethane glaze.
If you are looking for a piece like this, just send me a note!

These are the three necklaces left after Fanime. Well, the one in the middle I kept for myself. Couldn't part with the first one I ever made. This is just a teaser of more pictures to come soon! And all kinds of fun new products!
Here is a big image of most of the gauges I made for Fanime and one lovely lady that let me photograph her with a pair she bought on.
Currently I am not making fake gauges as I have had some issues with getting the bullet backs to connect properly with the posts. Out of a pack of 20 backs only 8 or so will have a good connection and even then I don't know if they will really hold until the earring is done. If anyone knows of good bullet/butterfly earring back for fake gauges let me know!
I have been making lots of normal earrings and necklaces for AnimegaCon in Vegas this month!
