I want to color so many of these and I work really slowly with any kind of traditional medium. This piece is prismacolors with a a chem wash to melt and smooth the pencil. Once it dried I lightly went over it to give it a slight texture. I didn't want to color the background because I'm lazy and I like how everything pops how it is. I didn't want to make it too busy... and I'm lazy >.> I totally messed up the lighting, like I changed my mind halfway through... T_T
What is Vector Art In digital art there are two layer formats: raster and vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.
When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixel effect.
When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't pixellate.
The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it! - for more information please go see ^ChewedKandi
I know that the date on this is a little over two years old, but that's because I lost it. But, I recently found it again. This is from the local news paper, the Houston Chronicle featuring an article about bad holiday movies. I'm sure any true MST3k fan would recognize those two characters and know the movie's name from witch they're from.
For this year's Valentine's exchange, Eve has traded her usual Halloween colors for something a little more in keeping with the season. Those of you who've taken the time to read my work know that our beloved heroine is VERY single. Anyone feel like changing this unfortunate state of affairs?
