Watchtower Cafeteria IChapter OneWatchtower Cafeteria I3 years ago in Romance More Like This
For once, nothing apocalyptic was happening in outer space, and on earth. Sure there were some fires that needed putting out and kittens to be rescued from a tree, but they were easy to handle. Most of the members of the Justice League were at the Watchtower, mingling with each other, chatting as they walked through the hallways, and of course the uncontrolled lovemaking in their respective chambers.
Shayera made her way to the cafeteria, where a lot of members were having their lunch. After taking a can of soda, some pasta and a few side dishes from their cafeteria lady, she spotted Clark sitting alone, having his lunch quietly after a very tiring deep space mission that went on for three days. He was having his lunch quietly while staring at the Dark Knight who was on the other side of the room, also having lunch.
"So," Shayera sat down beside Clark, who obviously was a bit startled by her sudden intrusion to his daydreaming. "When are you gonna tell him?" she stabbed a p

Batman and Superman struggled against the chords. Batman's strength was now sapped and he hung his head. Superman struggled against a glowy green chord. A chord radiating Kryptonite.
Soon they seemed to have descended to a deep basement. Pitch black darkness surrounding them save for the glowing green chord and the three glowing dots on Brainiac's forehead.
Then Suddenly they stopped and Luthor came forward with two disc-like devises.
He slipped his right hand under Batman's cowl and placed one of them on his temple.
"What are you--...." Batman started but trailed off, staring into space with what looked to be a blank expression. This caused Superman to struggle harder.
"No! Nooo!" And Luthor lifted a strand of hair and then placed the small disk under it, Brainiac's symbol lit up and Superman stared blankly ahead.
The chords slithered away from both. Superman and Batman just stood there, like drones waiting for a command. However, Batman's cloak bulged

Deep in a secret government building in California, an alarm sounds. A nameless worker shouts out "General! Get over here, you may be interested."
A tall man with a shaved head, looking to be in his mid-thirties, walked over to the worker's monitor and says "Oh, god; call the higher-ups and tell them it's time to initiate Operation Morph."

Leopira settled down on top of one of the Elephant's buildings, watching as they hauled in the harvest. She was amazed that Panthro, even with the help of Aburn, could lift those baskets of food. They were so gigantic! The leopardess watched in awe, having tried to lift one earlier. She stretched out in the sunlight, enjoying the warmth. Tygra had wandered of a while ago and she lost track of him, so instead she opted to take a little quiet time.
"Leopira! Leopira!" WilyKat shouted from below. He scrambled against the rock but couldn't find purchase no matter how high he leapt. "Leopira!"
The woman rolled and looked over the edge, "Trouble?"
"No!" WilyKat slid back down and crossed his arms. "Just wanted to see what you were up to, and if you wanted to help Kit and I. Cheetara's busy, and we wanted to learn how to fight some more!"
This seemed like a good enough reason to interrupt her chances for a nap, so Leopira leapt down and landed gracefully beside him. "Alright." She heard a fai

Chapter 3: Keeping Sane
I was woken by the maids.
"Master Damian wants you to take care of that Lightning Saix pilot," one said. I sat up.
"Yes, he was scouting around last night." I got up.
"Where are my clothes, gun, and eye patch," I asked. They handed everything to me and I met Damian in the hangar.
"I want you to kill him this time," he stated. I realized my fox had been fixed, gun and all.
"What if I don't?"
"Then expect a hole in the ground beside him."
"I don't even know this guy," I muttered while walking toward my fox.
"Not your fox Ava."
"I want you to pilot this," he said while pointing to a normal grade Lightning Saix.
"Why? My fox was easily fast enough. Plus his has blades "
I glanced at this Saix and found that at it's sides were golden blades. There was still the Twin Lightning Vulcan guns on it's back and the 30mm Pulse Laser Rifles between the eyes. With the blades and the speed along with IR suppression and hardened alloy teeth and

Hope's Peak Private Academy. The towering pillars of the school bleach the sunlight out of the other buildings around it. The school is guarded by large iron gates and chains, but it still is looking shiny as ever. The people here call the academy the hope of the future - if any person is to graduate from the school, they are guaranteed - and this is completely real - guaranteed success in life. There's obviously a catch however - the school only accepts certain students. The students must excel in the top of their respective area, such as dancing, baseball or singing. Either way, I'm obviously not cut for the job. My name is Makoto Naegi. I'm rather short, but that really doesn't matter. My hair frolicks a light brown in all directions, including a short tuft I forgot to comb down. Oh well. I wear an olive jacket and jeans and tennis shoes. I'm the norm of the norm. If you had to say I had a Super High School Level talent, you could probably say that I'm a bit more o

The light stung her eyes, a few seconds pass before everything regained its color. The dirt arena, the high granite walls, the thousands of spectators staring down on her all came within focus.
As well as the large figure standing in the center of the ring. The closer she got the more she realized, Monrey was right he's big....and hairy.
He had to be every bit of eight feet tall and nearly as wide.
"No big deal," she muttered to herself. "I've fought bigger." This attempt to comfort herself didn't work though. The confidence she proudly displayed just a few minutes ago had taken a serious blow...but hadn't vanished entirely.
She stopped and looked up at this massive beast of a man who towers over her five foot seven frame.
"You to be my next victim," he asked through a heavy accent of some kind.
"Let's wait until the match is over then decide who's the victim," she responded in her best nonchalant manner.
A roar of laughter erupted from this mountain of hair standing before her. "You'r

Rainbow Dash stepped into the musky farmhouse and found Soarin' sitting at the kitchen table. He had a solem, tired look on his face as he rested his head on the tabletop. Rainbow Dash cocked her head.
"Hey, stupid. I thought you were AppleJack for a second there."
"Must you adress me as stupid?" Soarin' asked, still not looking directly at her.
"I'm sorry, a mental defect that has been with me ever since I was a child gives me slurred speach and I try to pronounce your name but the good lord just won't let me you insensitive bastard." She walked twoards the houses refridgerator and took out and apple cider.
"Oh yes," Soarin' said dryly, "How could I forget such an important and crucial part of my life that I should care about?"
"Touche," Rainbow Dash sat down across from him, "Why are you sitting here like your dog got run over by a truck...?"
Soarin' sighed, "It's nothing, you don't have to worry about it. It's none of your business"
"Oh, everything you do became my b

What was I thinking?
A star-adorned tiara plopped onto Twilight Sparkle's bed.
It all looked to so good in my head! The actual outfit even looked good! At least to me... but I'm no designer, am I?
Two oversized, star-plastered sets of earrings and bows followed.
And the whole time, I pushed her to make it. Constantly correcting her over the most minor of details, forcing her to abandon her design sensibilities, and being ungrateful about a dress that she had offered to make me for free!
That dress, cluttered with animal and constellation designs, joined her jewelry on the bed with a soft ploomf. Twilight looked at the ensemble, only now finally able to see it for the trainwreck it was.
Whew. Back to some semblance of sanity. But the damage is already done. It's my fault. I asked for this, and I got exactly what I wanted... at the expense of a good friend's image. Maybe even her career. I'm the absolute worst.
She walked out of her bedroom and d
