Found another outfit that reminded me of the Baroness (its that segmented look that her armor has in the cartoon), so thought I would try another version of her (this time with Victoria 4 as a base) :-)

Just discovered that the outfit was made by a fellow DA member, here: [link]

Here are a couple more images at my blog (the last one topless):

I was surprised that this came out so well. She even looks okay with glasses.

i'm so honored to have been asked to illustrate this series of interlocking retailer incentive covers for IDW's g.i. joe line of books.

much like the snake eyes/helix covers that i did last year, these needed to be interlocking. i proposed the idea of vertically arranging them (instead of the standard horizontal layout) to IDW and they dug it.

flint will appear on g.i. joe #10, snake eyes will be on snake eyes #10, and the baroness will grace cobra #10. all issues will be out in february, 2012.

as i've stated many times before, gi joe owned my childhood. having the opportunity to work on the comics that inspired my career is truly a dream come true.

"yo, joe!"

Saw the movie - left me wanting the classic version. Just a test render, still more work to do.

"Hey Joe... how you doin?"

Ok couldn't decide if I wanted to do a sexy zip up suit or some new battle armor, so I whipped up both, sadly it only takes maybe an hour to whip up the figures...yet five to render, gotta learn patience :(
