You slowly hazed in and out of sleep. The light filtered in through the hotels thin curtains. You groaned and tried to turn over, failing misarablely when your seven month baby bump weighed you down. Suddenly you felt a pair of arms wrap around you from behind.
"We have to get up now," your German husband, Ludwig, mumbled.
You eyed the clock and noticed you were supposed to get up thirty minutes ago. You had the sudden urge to check your husbands temperature. He usually was up on time and ready to go by the time you rolled yourself out of bed. You smiled and turned over snuggling closer to his chest.
"Fine," you mockingly whined before kissing him on the lips. Ludwig softly smiled into the kiss before throwing the covers off. This time you whined for real as the cold air hit you. You procrastinated for a few minutes as your husband got ready in the small hotel bathroom. You were not excited about the day in any way.

Yes, I am.
Are you afraid?
Yes, I am.
Will you ever be afraid of nothing?
Will you ever be completely happy?
Someday all your feelings will stop roughing
All of them are becoming scrappy.
Being okay is not what it seems
"okay" is a word of sloth
it may be a word of dreams
but mostly it's a word of both.
Sadness and reclusion.

This is a one-shot!!
The masquerade party at my school was stunning so far. I twirled into my strapless _(fav color)_ dress, while letting my necklace glow in the dim light. I was dancing with one of my classmates to a slow, soothing waltz. I twisted and there was another partner rotation. I flashed a friendly smile at my previous partner and moved on. That's when I felt a familiar burn in my stomach. It flared more wild than fire and it made me shoot a cold glare at my albino partner.
"Guten tag, frau."
"Gilbert Beilschmidt, don't you dare even speak to me."
Two pairs of sad, ruby eyes looked into mine. I shivered as he gave me that same look that night. The night when I spotted my ex-boyfriend, Gilbert, kissing another girl.
I could clearly see without any doubt that Gilbert was kissing another girl. They were under street lights, and it looked as though they were under a spotlight. Gilbert spotted m

You captivate me, darling
and all I want is
to kiss your lips, and
shout to the world that I love
you, and only you.
You tell me we can't
can't do this, not tonight, dear
too risky, too late,
too dangerous, but
baby, I don't care tonight.
Because, I want the
world to know that you

I want the world to

They cannot break us, and I

Slipping through the cracks.
Where you're going,
Always have to ask.
You never lie,
You touch the sky,
You're never coming down.
Touch the wall,
Leave them all,
Go and wear your crown.
It's all a game,
They're all to blame,
It's never going to end.
So stand up tall,
Stand against the wall,
Prove that you won't bend.
It matters not,
If one is hot,
Only if one is kind.
You can fight,
For what is right,
You're not alone, you'll find.
You can win,
Against this sin,
And you can prove your worth.
Just stand up tall,
Back against the wall,
And throw them to the hearth!

Stars shine in the sky,
shine in the darkest nights.
They will always be there
even if you can't see their light.

Not everyone can grab
a shooting star and keep a hold.
The brave are not strong,
not the quick nor the best.
They are the ones who can
dream of stars to their hearts content.
Whether you grab stars,
Or dream during the nights.
Are you willing to grab
a wish in the star's flaming light?

Could you love me again?

The vivid and deep blue
It surrounds the land you stand on
Yet you try to forget the waves you rode
The corals you felt are still there
Slowly dying like the rest of the world you awoke
Do you feel the sand at your feet?
If you look back you would see the ocean
The ocean currents are constant and true
The land before you is dangerous
If you return to the ocean it will embrace you
The rushing water would cover your every surface
Be kind to the ocean
For it feels remorse for the lost purpose it has
The purpose of serving you under the wide open sky

Chains on my wrists.
My knees are bruised,
My knuckles are split.
I closed my eyes,
Take one last breath.
No one survives the trials,
and now I'm the last one left.
Death by burning,
or drowned in the lake.
Milky eyes stare up dead;
it's almost like they're awake.
Their hair wisps around
in the gray, braken liquid.
I close my eyes, and with one push
I enter the lake with purpose driven.
I feel the water
suck me right in.
I manage to open my eyes,
even though the lake is so dim.
I can see my sisters around me
yet they're all strangers, every one.
I think to myself as I sink like a rock,
What wrong had we ever done?
Their milky eyes are staring back at me,
accusing me of their same crime.
But then there is one thing I realize-
Their eyes look just like mine.

A time of giving
To show people your love
And if you want flaunt your money
As the winter sun sets the children sleep
For they are tired from the play

Our Love Died With HimThe world lost a great man exactly a year ago today. Our Love Died With Him1 year ago in Stories & Vignettes More Like This
Perhaps he was not great to you, but to me?
He meant the world.
In the beginning, he was a ruthless, young man. With an air of arrogance and indifferent power he commanded those around him. He possessed a sort of energetic, flawless energy that few could only dream of, as if he couldn't contain his entire self within the boundaries of his physical body. He was magnetic, electric. He was everything I could even dream to be, and more.
Over the years, life took a heavy toll on him. He became a desperate, desolate man that only rumors bring to life and light, the kind of man who could not hold himself together. As if he were afraid that the wind would steal his spirit away; afraid that his flame would be erased. His focus no longer lingered on the horizon because the future held no fruit for him. And for a long time, he wandered hopelessly, carving a deep and bloody trail into the paths of his tired soul.
But as he aged into his later ye

It was small and extremely tender. The ivory of its obvious coat was pure and glimmering, the sleekness of it so inviting and warm. Its pink nose was twitching rapidly, and I watched it tentatively move toward me and smell me, its nose pressed against the metal of the small cage.
A voice to my left startled me. "Hello. Is there anything I can help you with today?" Without thinking I stood and smacked straight into a solid, warm body. I yelped and stepped back, my head cringing backward to fully glance at the intruder.
He was extremely tall and lithe, his body slender yet obviously well-built. His hair was ebony-black, his eyes such a captivating green.
He laughed slightly as he glanced down me, his hands steadying my shoulders in a friendly manner. "Oops. Sorry about that. Are you ok?"
I gaped at him, realizing that the seconds were ticking by and I had yet to say anything. "Yes!" I flushed. I stepped back and

I felt the coolness of the notebook under my hand, the smooth cover of it a lovely shade of blue. And when I glanced at it from beneath shaded eyes the intensity of it...brought memories of your azure-blue eyes.
I cringed, feeling something fail with in me. My hand curled up in a first from my position on the wooden chair, my gaze falling to the table. The table was slightly broken, its legs uneven and dented, as if someone had repeatedly hit at it over and over and over again. The surface of it, too, was scarred and embedded deeply with many dents and bruises, as if someone had taken a knife and carved multiple incisions upon its layer.
But what did it matter? It reflected me entirely as I am. A broken being in the very depth of an abyss.
I tugged at the notebook, feeling its mass and existence through my fingertips. Turning to the first page, I felt a smile overtook

She saw a little blue flower and picked it up. She had worn flowers in her hair with that white dress. There had been flowers everywhere, in vases, on the ground, in that little wicker basket that had hung from her wrist.
Her curly blond hair flew into her face as gusts of wind tumbled around her. Her hands, longer and more elegant than they used to be, reached up to fix her carefully-done hairstyle. The same hairstyle as when she wore the white dress.
There were flowers here too, she noticed. Lots of them. Not pretty pinks and pristine whites and happy yellows, like before. Deep purples, powerful ocean blues, blood reds, in little clusters, piled on the piano that sat next to the giant box. There were no children with wicker baskets, or waiters with that fizzy stuff tha

Ladonna was climbing the slopes along a cliff. It was her favorite pass time because it was challenging yet thrilling at the same time. Little did she know that she wasn't alone on the slopes.
