1. Please don't sharpen your talons on the furniture. I've provided a special post for this in the room behind the laundry where you put your weights and gym equipment.
2. I love sushi too, but I prefer it dead before I eat it. I know you love to fish but please don't do this in front of me again. I nearly fainted and you know I've seen some grisly things.
3. I don't need to hear again how your mom use to deep fry things that look like my hamster, and serve them as appetizers.
4. Please don't use my knitting yarn as dental floss. I sent to Palaven for a new supply for you. It will be here in a few days.
5. I get it that casting is a family activity for Turians, but humans are just not with that hairball kind of thing. I love you dearly, but there are some things I can't do with you, so please regurgitate tha
Shepard Cosplays As Shepard - Update! I'm sorry, but can we take a moment to talk about how awesome Mark Meer is?Shepard Cosplays As Shepard - Update!3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Imagine you are at DragonCon, enjoying the cosplay during a sunny break away from the con floor. Then yet another guy in a Commander Shepard outfit struts by. But wait just a minute...there's something different about him. He looks familiar...kinda. Wait, that's the guy who actually plays the male version of Commander Shepard's Voice in Mass Effect!
I can't decide if the best thing about this quick video is the incredulity in the fans' voices as they figure out who they're looking at. Or it might be that Meer can go somewhat incognito as a character he plays and whose voice is known by millions all over the world. Either way it's awesome.
And if you think that's cool, Did you know that Rana McAnear- The face of Samara/Morinth was also cosplaying with him? (https://www.facebook.com/SamaraME2)

While it's certainly been fun wreaking six kinds of havoc on the various multiplayer venues (Platinum difficulty, gah!) I'm sure a lot of you are looking forward to new single player content to tackle.
Announced during EA's summer showcase, Leviathan will tell the story of increasing desperation, a quest for vengeance, and will add entirely new avenues of play.
The setup for Leviathan is that humanity is looking for anything and everything to win the war and get Earth back. Admiral Hackett has been running black op missions with the goal of tracking down a mysterious and elusive creature that has been killing Reapers; the Leviathan Of Dis. Vanishing decades ago, no one has been able to come close to locating it again, until a scientist on the Citadel finds a trace that could lead them to the enigmatic dreadnaught, but then --as scientists are w
Citadel DLC Review (spoilers) and glitch awarenessI had high hopes for this DLC which is rare because I usually tend to have low expectations for most everything so I don't end up too dissapointed when it inevitably sucks, so I was thrilled that not only did I actually enjoy this DLC but it was even better than I had imagined it could be.Citadel DLC Review (spoilers) and glitch awareness3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Highlights from the main mission for me were getting the actual apartment from Anderson, it's friggin huge and later in the DLC you find out just why it needed to be so big, I literally spent around a half hour walking around the apartment checking it out along with Anderson's audio logs. Another great feature was how they factored your decisions into the way the characters appeared and interacted with you. For instance your love interest shows up by themselves at one point to assist you (I had Kaidan of course and he got a really sweet cutscene where we finally got to see him using his biotics, it was pretty badass). There was also a moment where I was choosing squaddies and the on

Yet again the Mass Effect Fandom proved that it will not leave the ending in the state it was presented in the game. A certain (fan!) mod was created (and is right now in the testing phase) a Happy Ending Mod for ME3. We can destroy the Reapers, Shepard lives (EDI and Geth too) and most importantly of all we don't have to worry about the Star Child.
Instruction how to install it and the mod itself can be found here:
You can also check how the mod works here on youtube:

Feminism vs Damsel FantasiesHey Guys!Feminism vs Damsel Fantasies1 year ago in Personal More Like This
made front page! How cool is that? Thanks to everyone for the well wishes ^^
But, of course, with popularity comes QUESTIONS! Is this sexist? How can I make BDSM art AND be Feminist? This spurred a really great note conversation I had with a fellow deviant-arter. With her permission, I'm reposting part of the convo below.
Q: I would consider myself a feminist as well. I do have a question, though. I understand that what happens between consenting adults is up to them and there is no shame in sexual exploration or what some would consider a "kinky" sexual lifestyle, but some of your art doesn't strike me as consensual. I see bound and sexualized characters who are not getting pleasure from their situation. Some even look desperate for freedom. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
A: Lets take sex and table it for a second. I want to talk a little about catharsis.

Beyond the Extended Cut... I will reignite. And so the end creeped upon us. With the Extended Cut behind me I can finally say that I've seen the full extent of how BioWare wanted to end the Mass Effect trilogy... And I disliked it. Don't get me wrong, the Extended Cut is a vast improvement over the vanilla endings and I think that everyone should check it out - but it is still the same unfitting ending, it is still something taken out from another story and sewn onto Mass Effect's glistening skin, with it still kicking and screaming (yes, this is just a personal opinion and no, I am not bitter about that - I just dislike how it ended). The themes that made Mass Effect so great are still either nowhere to be found, or twisted around to present a vision I just cannot accept as something that belongs there. My fanface is itching, my writer sense tingling... Not the way I want to end one of the greatest sci-fi experiences of my nerdy little life.Beyond the Extended Cut... Way awesome of you guys to ask Weekes this! <3
However...there is that one question I bet we all ponder over...
HOW do they sleep? Are there...special fringe-friendly pillows? Standing up? Pillow showed down into the cowl? On their stomach?
I keep picturing the cowl pillow. A guy with his cowl stuffed full of cozy. That makes me happy.
I think about this...all day. Every day.
This list was put together by Mr. Graz :iconikraiga: and Squeeze the Fish, figured I'd share it with my fellow turianphiles here, unless you've already seen it.
These are all canonical facts.

This story is turning out a lot longer than I intended. Writing from Garrus' point of view is a struggle. Thanks to Lordess-Alicia for her Deviation "Goodnight Shepard" that inspired most of this story. You can see it here: http://lordess-alicia.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=192#/d3hev8m

It was about oh-two hundred hours and I was crouched down, rummaging through the little beer cooler that Joker had tucked away under the mess hall table. I heard the doors of her quarters swish open and there she was. Her lithe form was seductively out of uniform, sheathed in silky black bed clothes with a spotted animal type print that showed the soft curves, yet left everything to the wild imagination.
And there I was…. wearing only my military shorts that bare

Mass Effect 3 review MASSIVE SPOILERS!!!!SpoilersMass Effect 3 review MASSIVE SPOILERS!!!!4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Let's begin then.
I decided to write a review of Mass Effect 3 as I did with Dragon Age 2.
So here I am trying to put my thoughts in some order again.
SOME GENERAL THOUGHTS
In general I really enjoyed the game. I think it's really well done and I love that it's almost like interactive movie. I really like the way cinematics and in game scenes were practically joined with actual gameplay. I love how the whole game looks like, the experience is great, locations are well designed and interesting. I could see the effort put into graphic, and I really enjoyed backgrounds, environments and locations. Menae, Tessia, ruins on Tuchanka... fiest for my eyes.
I played whole series in a row and mechanics didn't change that much. I liked the way player can buy and upgrade weapons, it's a nice compromise between overwhelming number of weapon in ME1 and lack of choice in ME2. Multiplayer is a nice addition but I found surprising

Dear Jane: Your diary is very insightful. It really helps me to better recall those days and put everything in perspective which will help with the book. Did the Broker recover any additional entries? How many times did you call me an ass? I lost count at four. I'd forgotten all about those rabid varren and the things I'd said to Kaiden.
It was interesting to read your admission of being such a poor shot and your appreciation of my teaching you to handle a sniper rifle properly. You did greatly improve under my tutelage. Remember that the next time you insist that you let me win our shoot off on the Citadel bridge.
So my Turian voice got to you, huh? You were one cool cookie, running off to your quarters to research my dick. You're not so cool anymore are you, when you're begging me to give you more 'research'. You looked up Turian anatomy on the extranet and you called me nerdy? You could have just asked me, you know. I have always been delighted to instruct

Sometimes I get a feeling I don't deserve all the love and attention I get from you. I don't look at myself as someone who is popular or special. And hell, even less do I envision myself as a person with enormous artistic skills. I have a long way to go to define my own personal drawing style. And I will get there; someday. I tend to draw because that's how I live. People who surround me on a daily basis usually laugh at this kind of argument. But in fact, it isn't an argument. It's the truth.
I live through art. I live through inspiration.
And YOU are my inspiration.
YOU accompany me with every brush or pencil stroke I make.
YOU support me with your critique and praise.
I sincerely think that without YOU I would feel like living in a vacuum; unable to breathe or even move. I tend to look back at the past few years and marvel at what I've achieved.
A Foot In With Marvel. Some of you may already know, but earlier in August I had once again teamed up with the guys at Udon, but this time to create some artwork for Marvel! For the time I had available I only could fit in 2 artworks, so I was assigned to create two artworks of Mystique. I thoroughly enjoyed working on her along with her backgrounds and Im happy to say that I've already completed both a few days ago. Not sure when this whole project will go public, but as soon as it does, you know I'll be sharing my version of her with you all!A Foot In With Marvel.3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has purchased from my DA store! You have no idea how happy it makes me to know that my artwork is now finding homes around the world The support is totally awesome and hugely appreciated, so thank you so much! I hope the prints turned out well and that you are enjoying them.

After losing her family at sixteen to a bloody Batarian pirate attack on an Alliance colony, the young fighter joined the Alliance military only to lose her entire squad in a deadly thresher maw attack. In the years since, these early scars have forged a new identity out of the shattered ruins of the child whose family died on Mindoir. It was one of those conversations that I wish, in retrospect that I had never really started. Jane didn’t like me bringing it up and I didn’t really like finding out something that I had always suspected. It ended well, but not because I won the ... argument.
It began innocently; she was washing a teacup at the kitchen sink. I came up behind her and nuzzled her neck. She squirmed away, skipped over to the kitchen door and with a lascivious smile beckoned me into the yard with her index finger.
“If you want it, catch me if you can.” Jane said and sauntered away out into the yard.
I’d been lead on this merry chase many times before; all through the house and half the yard. The last time, we ended up making love on the potting ta
