Kiss of DeathBlue butterflies leading the way
Through the dark forest.
Whispers following me
In the blackness.
I want to find him,
Embrace him one last time.
Even though it's been years
He has remained in my heart.
White moonlight shows his path,
Blue butterflies joined with red ones.
Our colours: life and death combined;
I can find him this time.
My last trip, my final choice:
It's all for a kiss.
His last words, his lovely voice
Still rings in my ears.
Soft laughter, I hear behind me.
I recognise it!
As soon as I turn around,
His beautiful face I see.
Little I know of this illusion
I don't want reality.
I embrace his cold body
And a kiss of death we share.
Now we are together
As red and blue butterflies.
Flying through the dark forest
Just us in the silence.
The choice of a mageShe always watched them from the background. All those talented mages, who knew how to cast spells without any problems. She's been part of the Circle of Magi since she was seven years old, and yet, even 10 years later, she was no better than those who had come only two years ago. It was true that there had been no magic in her family before her, but that shouldn't be an issue. The choice of a mage4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Why did she have to watch them jealously? That tiny little elf, always Irving's favourite with amazing talents in elemental and spirit magic. Anders, who always ran away and barely attended any lessons, yet he was more talented in healing than any of the apprentices. Even Jowan was better than her.
Not that she ever complained. Selnim Lonus was an elf taken from the poverty of the Alienage in Denerim. So, in almost every way, living in the Circle Tower was better for her than anything else that could have happened to her. But she was not happy. Selnim lived in fear both in the tower and back when she had been in

"You are the loud one!" came the angry answer.
"It's too dark! I bumped into something!"
"Maybe it was the skeleton..."
"What?! No! I told you I don't want to be here!"
"Shut up both of you! Wait with arguing until we are far away from the templars." Ewan whispered. "We are almost at the sewers."
"I hope you are right about these sewers..." Aed whispered to the little mage leading them. The girl just sighed.
"Anders said it leads right next to the river at Gherlen's Pass. He managed to escape this way, I'm sure we'll manage too." she answered quietly. Of course she wasn't sure about this. Anders' tales were sometimes too colourful to believe. But it was worth a try.
"Great. So now we're gonna get all smelly and disgusting and then we'll get completely wet too."
"No. It leads next to the river. Not into it. We can wash ourselves properly once we are out." she was losing her patience.
"Let's hope Anders wasn't lying about it."

"Well, as Jowan owes us, we could just simply go to him and ask for him for supplies, while we are at it. The Chanter's board can wait Or, Ser Templar can go to the Chanter's board, while we talk to Jowan. Less worries then."
"Nice try. As if I'd let you walk into a maleficar's house without a Templar." Evarist answered shaking his head. The three mages rolled their eyes. They had asked Jowan and he said he wasn't a blood mage. Of course, they also thought that their friend wasn't smart enough to learn the forbidden art. That's why they helped him.
"All right. Any idea where he is?" Ewan asked, but they all looked absolutely clueless.
"Let's think this out logically: He is an apostate mage, hiding in the capital with his wife. He probably doesn't have a lot of money and he can't show his talents to anyone. He can't do proper physical work, but knowing him, that would be his choice

"Just stay calm." Evarist said as he stood beside them.
The Templars walked up to them.
"We are looking for three apostate mages, matching the description of them." One of them said to Evarist pointing at his three companions while the other two decided it would be a good idea to keep an eye on them.
"This girl is from the Alienage. We asked her help for some local information. My two mage companions and myself are on official business, investigating the happenings in the orphanage." Evarist explained the situation. It was true that while Ewan and Aed had their staff with them, Sylverin could easily pass for a simple elf. Surrounded by mages, nobody would be able to feel her magical powers. The mage trio had to keep a straight face, but they were all shocked at how simple it was for the Templar to lie.
The lead Templar seemed to think about this for a second. He wasn't sure if what he was told was the exact truth, b

"How should we decide where to go then?"
"We could toss a coin..." Aed answered
Sylverin looked at him as if he were an idiot. "A three-sided coin?"
"Or a none-existent one..." Ewan added. "We have no money..."
"What? I thought you had some?" Sylverin asked shocked.
"Yes, it's in the river..."
"Well, that is great. We are off to a good start then. What now?"
"Ser Barandt, you don't happen to have any money on you, do you?" Ewan asked carefully.
"Not nearly enough for four people." he answered.
"Okay... Well... What if we sold our mage robes and got something more comfortable. We could get good money for them and we wouldn't get too much attention in normal clothes." Aed offered.
"We'd still have our staffs with us." Ewan shook his head.
"You would. I'm completely fine without a staff. It's much easier to control mana without it." Sylverin said simply. "My st

The light at the end of the tunnel faded from a bright white into the colors of the world and he saw something he would never expected to see: the face of a woman covered by a surgical mask. He felt drowning from the liquid stuck in his lungs, and that was strange, because he didn't die by drowning, but in a hospital bed. I'm still alive, after all, he thought. Twenty-nine years were a young age to die, even for someone like him with a nasty disease; he was partially relieved, despite the promise of more suffering ahead.
It took some time to him to notice something was off. Proportions. Everything seemed too big, and when the nurse took him in her arms and lifted him with a single had, he finally knew it wasn't the morphine making him delusional: he was naked, wed,

Someone sits next to me;
A familiar smell
Brings back memories.
The warmth of the sun,
In tag I've been caught!
Our laughs echoed through
The warm winds of spring,
The sunshine's golden light
Made us look like we were shining.
The kind hug of my mother,
Her gentle smile,
I'll never forget
How it felt in my mind...
The loud crowd of the bus
Brings me back to reality,
It is time to get off,
No more time for happy daydreaming...
Chapter 6 - Out of the Ice Tray, Into the Fire“You had better not be a blood mage!” Aed said looking at the confused man.Chapter 6 - Out of the Ice Tray, Into the Fire3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Me? A blood mage? Ew. Do you think I could handle the steams of blood gushing out of my… Ew! No!” the mage said with complete disgust on his face. Of course, after his little explanation everyone in the group had a similar expression.
“Great… Just what we needed in the morning.” Ewan sighed. “Who are you?”
“I’m Knoll of the Mages’ Collective!” he said with a bow. Ewan looked at Gem, who nodded.
The mage was short, almost elf-height. He seemed to be around the age of thirty. He had brown hair, brown eyes and carried a rather odd looking staff. One side had a blade on it, while the other showed the moon, possibly made out of silver. While he was short and didn’t seem very dangerous, but there was something intimidating about him. His Tevinter bloodline made him look more powerful than any of the three mages in the party.

-¿Posta?

"We don't need her to slow us down." Came the answer from Aed.
"She needs to grow up. If she can't get help on her own, she'll never become independent." Evarist nodded.
The two brothers looked at each other, raised their eyebrows, sighed and nodded. They had to agree, Sylverin was still too dependent on them and others. While it was her idea to leave, she would not have done it if nobody wanted to go with her.
"All right, where to then?" Aed looked around as they left the Alienage and Ewan pointed towards the Chantry.
"Let's look at the Chanter's Board. We might find something of interest there and we could certainly do with the coin." The other two nodded.
"Isn't that what the brat is doing right now?" Aed asked reading the second entry on the board.
"It is! And they are offering quite a lot of gold for it. Then, we don't need to do anything!" Ewan said as he began to walk away, but Evarist cau

Ma

As the cool night turned into day, you rubbed your eyes and slowly began to drag yourself to your feet. You walked toward the bathroom and slowly started to make yourself look presentable. Once you had showered, and dressed you headed to the kitchen for some wonderful, life-giving coffee. You had the feeling today was going to be a long day.
You noticed that the lights in the kitchen were off, which was strange because usually Sanji was already up and preparing breakfast. You quickly grew suspicious as you slowly opened the door and took a few steps in. Suddenly, the lights clicked on, blinding you temporarily.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled out.
"Wha-? What's going on?" You looked at everyone, they all had giant smiles on their faces. And in front of them, was a giant, three teared cake. And on the bottom tear, written in frosting, were the words, "Happy Birthday, (f/n)"
You had completely forgot that it was your birthday! You remember Robin asking you once about it and you half-mindedly

"She's not injured internally, no bruises, no cuts. So why is she not waking up?" Chopper asked, completely stumped. You began to wonder that yourself. What happened?
"She used such a powerful form, just like Cuba did. Only she was in more control over hers...could she be simply just exhausted from the feat?" Robin offered.
"Maybe, but how long until she wakes up?" Sanji whined,
"(f/n)...." cried out an unknown voice.
"I have no idea, could be hours, days, or never." Chopper said solemnly.
"(f/n)..." the voice cried out again.
"Don't say that Chopper!" sniffled Usopp, "She'll wake up soon! I know it!"

Months passed since your and Zoro had spent "quality time" together. Since then, you and the crew have been on many adventures. What made it even more wonderful was that the day after your birthday, Luffy had asked you to be part of his crew. You, of course, naturally agreed.
And as promised, You and Brook began the music lessons. Both in guitar and in voice. Originally, when you began your first guitar lesson, you could hardly strike a chord without your fingers hurting. Your voice was quite and soft, but it had potential to become something more, if you were willing to put in the hard work.
And work hard you did! Brook was a wonderful teacher, but it was up to you to find confidence in yourself when you sang. Your beloved would often catch you singing some tune to yourself when you thought you were alone, and when Zoro would begin to clap, you immediately would become flustered and your voice would stray.
Eventually, you did master a song or two, now you just had to develop the multi
