I can't eat,
I feel like I can't breathe.
Closing my eyes,
Trying to force myself calm..
What if he doesn't like me?
What if I don't like him?
What if he doesn't even show?
I don't know if I can do this..
I don't know if I can meet him..
I'm excited and terrified at the same time..
Almost a stranger, but I've talked to him before..
My stomach's all in knots..

There are days
when I feel
all the colors
have drained away
and I float
on a lake
of pristine glass
beneath a sky
bereft of meaning
and regrets flutter
like desperate wings
against the walls
of boxed memories
all treasured tokens
adrift and alone

Jose cringed as he remember Shiloh's face when she found out about Shasta and Gannon. It hurt him because first off Shiloh was hurt by her friends shallow actions, second, Shiloh obviously had feeling for Gannon .not him. He didn't know what hurt the ego more. The fact that his charm didn't work on Shiloh or the fact that he had lost to some short ass shrimp.
Autumn woke up to her phone vibrating. She looked at Collin's text message and sat up.

"Why are you doubting my feelings?" Shasta asked innocently.
"I'm not it's just, I want you to only be mine." Dallas tried to tell her.
"Then be mine only." Shasta pulled down his pants slowly and seductively. This is what not to do kids. Get drunk and end up in this situation.
"mhm?" Autumn flickered her eyes open to the dark night but realized she was moving. She looked down to see arms holding her and feet walking. She looked to other way and found a very pleasing face. Collin.
"What are you doing?" Autumn tried to speak form her deep sleep.
"Taking you inside so you don't freeze." Collin pushed open the assigned room door for the girl and went to set Autumn down. They both collapsed onto the mattress sand Autumn shivered curling up on Collin.
"We should get changed." Collin whispered and Autumn nodded.
"I'll be right back." Collin stood up and walked out of the room. Autumn jumped up quicker than s
FallYou fell. No one to catch you. Free falling. The wonderful feeling of wind whipping your clothes, your eyes closed. Pale moonlight softly illuminating the lake below. Stars glittering unnoticed high above. Why are you falling? Has the world been unkind to you? Is there no one waiting for you to come home? Or have you not found your home yet?Fall5 years ago in Mystery & Suspense More Like This
Your hair streams out behind you, like a raven black banner dancing in the sky. Does it feel good? Have you found peace at least? Have you found solitude?
All is quiet; the animals are asleep and the bats settling back in their caverns. No one is in sight. It is peaceful, but are you? What has the world done to you to make you troubled so? Even in this secluded place your face is filled with a mixture of sorrow, hurt, and anger.
Dawn breaks, light spilling over the horizon to swathe the land in a golden blanket. Still you fall. The lake nears. You stretch your arms over your head and slip into the lake with barely a splash; a perfect dive. It is no

She was one of your best friends then you abandoned her.

Lesson One - CaziluNihongo - Lesson OneLesson One - Cazilu5 years ago in General Non-Fiction More Like This
This is just a little lesson on the basics of nihongo (Japanese). Before we start learning some words, get a notebook, and dedicate it especially to your
Japanese learning. I tell everyone this, but it really does help to have a notebook. I really dont mind if you copy this lesson and print it off, but
sometimes writing things down by hand can help it stick in, so feel free to do both. Also, just reading what I wrote can get a bit tedious. ^^
Okies, so there are four ways to write Japanese: Hiragana; Katana; Kanji, and Romaji. Hiragana is the standard writing system that Japanese words are
written in, Katana is the writing system exclusively for foreign words according to how the Japanese would say then, and Kanji is the system of one character
per word that was imported from China quite a bit back. Youll often see hiragana and Kanji mixed in together. Romaji is the way to w

This is lesson 2 of my short lil lessons on the language of Japanese. In this lesson, we'll cover some more basic phrases, and hopefully
get you to hold a little conversation. Got your notebook handy? At this point, you may want to make it look more purrty with some
colour. I'll give you a clever tip (I know, this just keeps getting better and better!! lol) Red is the colour the brain recognises
instantly, so you may want to underline the stuff you know you struggle with in that colour. Just a thought.
Let's move on.
You've already learnt some basics, and we're gunna build on that: Remember hajimemashite? Well, we'll learn some more vocab to
fill out your introduction.

The middle of the land of Spring lies a bridge over 200 stories high, covering a canyon for over 150 feet.. and she fell from it. I felt my senses tense and the feeling of 'flight or fight' overwhelm my spinning mind before dashing out before me towards her. Quickly I moved forwards, crashing to my knees at the side as I threw my torso and arms to her allowing my hand to wrap around her delicate wrist. My shoulder joint cracked as I let myself drop a little more, my fingers coiled tightly around her, desparete to save her. "Nami..." I squeezed through enclosed teeth as the tears piled on my lashes and corners of my eyes. It hurt so much.. the pain of my throbbing shoulder ripping from it's hinges -- but I couldn't let go. "Please keep holding on... don't let yourself fall--" I exhaled a breath that exhaulted my pain from within. How long could I hold her here? Would my arm tear from it's poor fabrication and plunge to the depths of this canyon with her? As much as my

Truth and theory
I sat there, listening to the sound of bird song in the morning mist. Watching as the twisted ivy leafs fluttered in the cool December breeze.
I remember this place when it was once beautiful. When the laughter and cries of children filled the corridors, but now it just silent... and in ruin hidden on Bodmin moor.
It was one day... sorry getting in front of myself. There are many theories- like it was bombed in the war, but this happened closer to the present. Now back to what I started.
I was in a dimly lit chemistry lab sat in the corner was a strange substances with blue swirling, curling smoke which left the smell of iron in the air. The door creaked open. I turned to my relief it was the chemistry teacher Snake Snape or Professor Snape I should have said. "Sallyya, what are you doing in here?" he asked.

In other news, Yellow is retiring today. I knew it was coming soon. She's short, and old, and she's missing her wrapper (it's kinda gross!). She's missing chunks out of her hair and her body, too. So she put in her notice yesterday and told us all that she'd be living in a nice, comfortable home with an older couple who love art. It's perfect for her.
Ah, the blood is rushing to my head, standing upside down like this! Oh well. It's worth it! Blue and Purple say they like my journals. I haven't showed them to anyone else. Green says he'd like to read them, but how embarrassing would that be! I'd have to keep myself from going on about how cute and smart and fierce and brave and manly and oh, shoot, I'm doing it a

Our box is on a shelf, and that shelf is in a preschool. Jeez, are kids insane! I almost lost my wrapper yesterday, and goodness, would that be embarrassing. All of my bits and pieces showing everywhere! In front of kids! Goodness! And surely not in front of Green. He's really cute and just- oh, I'm blushing now...
Anyways, we got some new buddies today. They're markers. I really like Purple, she's a sweetheart. Everyone calls her Violet. She's energetic like me, and not depressing like Blue, but calm. Besides. She's really pretty and flow-y.
Well, I have to go now because the kids are coming. So I'll write more later!

Shaken HeartsChristina sat in the waiting room of the train station. More than a hundred other commuters were gathered around as well, holding their breaths as they watched the television screen depict the doom that was hitting their country. Christina was scared. She was helpless. It was a natural disaster, there was nothing a single person in the room could do except watch as the floodwater destroyed the land. Strangers, friends, family. Those who couldn't evacuate fast enough were drowned. Christina closed her eyes and pulled her legs against her chest, hiding her face in her knees. She didn't want to see another second of the terrible pictures on the TV screen. She wasn't a Japan native, but she had lived in Japan for a year now with her foster family. Murmurs and frightened whispers reached Christina's ears,

The next day after eating cold cereal for breakfast, we watched the news. Lucky enough, our plan was coming into effect sooner then we thought. There was a nuclear waste-creature-thing that was destroying the city. So we went. And the heat of battle reminded me of all the cold, cruel things I had done. But the monster was raging. So I cleared my mind, and our team kicked its radioactive butt. But the heat of battle should been the thing that should have given me a pick-me-up. That night, I swear I saw ghosts. All of the people I killed in battle. The chimerist that I killed in cold blood. The radioactive beast.Everything. All there, and they were saying "IT HURTS, IT HURTS SO MUCH". I woke up in a cold sweat. Everything was there. Nothing out of place. No ghosts. I poured my self a glass of water, and I went to sleep. The next day, there was peace. The only problem was that someone caught us on video, and posted it on FaceTube. The video spread to the news and the headline? 'CHIMERAS:

we always see it.
In some way,
In the most common of places,
or in places we never dreamed of seeing it.
I can always see it in others,
there's a small light in all of us,
that just wants to be shown through.
Sometimes we get too scared to admit it,
but deep down we all know it's true.
So let your light shine through,
don't hold it back,
you never know if it will help another.
Winter Will PassThe snow sparkles underfoot, as if God himself sprinkled glitter upon the white expanse as it lay on the open plains of the once-grassy hills. I stare out at the soft powdery substance that has covered every surface it can reach, knowing that this moment will be my last. It is a peaceful place, a special secret hidden in plain sight. I start walking, the snow crunching beneath my brown fur boots as I traipse through the cold and follow the curve and slant of the rolling hills.Winter Will Pass3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I used to always think of these plains as interminable. But now I can see the tendrils of industrialization creeping upon the horizon like veins of a black disease, starting out small and thin but growing and growing until they have spread their cancer throughout the entire infected system.
I'll miss my home; the place that is such a familiar feeling to me, a comfort in times of trouble. Where I am travelling now, there will be no grassy ground or wide open spaces. There will be buildings, busy traffic streets an

Existence, But Not LifeShe walked the steps she'd known for a hundred years, waved hello to the people that passed by whom she had seen every day for a century. It was winter and there was snow yet the flowers still bloomed, bright colorful petals poking up from the layer of white that enveloped the land. She was wrapped in a shawl, her body kept warm by the thick brown pants and blue shirt. Two women nearby gushed about how the one's little girl would be turning two hundred. A milestone to be sure, a happy step in one's childhood. She could remember when she had been two hundred. It felt like yesterday but in reality it had been millennia. She was always there, her body never aging past forty. It was natural. The same was for everyone else as well.Existence, But Not Life3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
