Kishin and their humanityWhat did it mean to be human?Kishin and their humanity4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
To live, breathe, or bleed the same color?
To have morality, to have empathy, or to have your body to yourself?
To have a thing called: "Humanity"?
None of which he had.
His Blood is Black.
His actions are foreign.
His way of looking at the world is apathetic.
How could Crona ever be considered human?
Was he ever human to begin with?
He didn't feel human-
No matter how human he looked.
On the inside he was the opposite.
But he was human enough to be punished as one.
"Crona's death sentence is inevitable."
No one could ever look at him and relate.
How could you connect yourself, your soul, to someone like him?
Someone who looked at other humans and only saw food?
He was a demon through and through.
"The only thing a Pitch Black Demon like me can do is taint things "
But then she came into his life.
A person neither bound by Fear or Madness, unlike him.
A stranger who offered her love.
A girl who had been betrayed in the end.
He wasn't hum

A soft breeze that blew in from an open window rustled Maka's golden strands who nestled into the arms of a lanky teenage boy. He looked through his lavender bangs staring at her content smile while looking out into the sleepy setting sun. He gently rubbed his hand up and down her arm comfortingly, a smile at his lips hardly believing that he was even there with her.
Maka looked up at him with a peculiar face, one of happiness and a tinge of apprehension. "Do you know what tomorrow is, Crona?" she asked in a soft voice.
Crona looked at her, his smile grew knowing very well what she was referring to. He kept track of everyday, cherished them even, since the day she said yes to being his girlfriend. He gave a small nod. "It'll be our one year anniversary," he said happily, like a child answering correctly to a teacher's question.
She knew he wouldn't have forgotten. "That's right. And I have something special in mind for it."

The group of giggling girls entered Death City Mall through it's automatic sliding doors. Liz and Tsubaki looked to the small blonde meister as they studied her from head to toe as Blair led them through the brightly lit and glittering mall.
"What do you think, Tsubaki? Should we get something more dangerous for her? Something revealing and enticing that he wouldn't be able to control himself?" Liz discussed twirling around Maka, a finger gently poised on her devilish smile.
Tsubaki let her mind wander on the thought. "I think he would die before they even got to the main event! I think we should dress her in something, more innocent."
Maka didn't hear a word they said as they discussed the various outfits she would try on soon. She was lost in thought, she felt a tinge of guilt for leaving this morning without even saying one word to Crona. She could imagine his body droop as Soul tells him the news. Though, she knew she'd see him again

Crona looked at you from the other end of the classroom. He had been admiring you from afar for a long time. He thought you were smart, funny ... kind, helpful ... and pretty. He had tried to talk to you several times, but one of his friends always turned up and made him feel too nervous. He sighed and looked at the blank page that was his test paper
"Do something, dumbass!" Ragnarok hissed
"I will ... just let me think" Crona mumbled, looking at you again
Ragnarok hit Crona hard. Surprisingly, he didn't make a sound. Ragnarok hit him again and still nothing. Crona was completely bewitched by you ... a little blush appeared on his cheeks and smiled. Class ended and he only noticed when he saw you leave the room. He hurried after you, calling your name. You turned around and smiled, waiting for him to catch up with you
"Hey, Crona!" You said, smiling
The blush on his cheeks intensified

Yours is red,
That makes all the difference,
The hate, the bruises,
Maybe it's just my mother's love?
Ragnarok is my friend, or at least that's what I thought,
Friends are supposed to hurt me a lot,
Those screams, those cries,
I can hear them after they die,
Mother says it's okay though,
That those people deserved to go,
Just like those bunnies that I had to kill,
I stared after their hearts had become still,
The last one left had shivered and tried to run,
I brought down the sword and my job was done,
Mother let me stay out of the cell that night,
Because I had caused that disgusting sight,
She praised me and gave a grin
I felt horrible and my stomach started to spin,
The killings were people from then on out,
I murdered without a single doubt,
Then I met Maka and tried to kill her too,
But she told me that we could be friends and pulled me through,
Now that I think on what I've done,
I don't deserve her,
I don't deserve anyone,
All this kindness being shown,

More than friends, part I
Saturday, on the start of the afternoon.
The new acquired residence of the meisters, weapons and their magical cats was carrying its usual atmosphere. But today, the home was occupied only by Soul and Sahn, as the ladies decided to hang out with their girlfriends into a shopping frenzy.
This left them to their usual activity: video gaming.
Weeks had passed since Maka's birthday. Ever since then, the two weapons weren't very focused on anything in their doings with the exception of their jobs pumping their veins with adrenaline. It was obvious.
Sahn never saw Mariciel as girlfriend material. She was a sister to him. Yet the thought of having her as such lingered in his mind with the words, "What if" echoing in the distance. He never dared talking about it to her. Did he fear of messing the dear bond between him and his red-headed meister? It was strongly suggested.

Madness. It consumes and destroys and corrupts. A darkness that spreads like a disease, and leaves little or nothing in its wake. Like the tides and the waves of the ocean, it laps hungrily at the shore, creeping further up the sand until it swallows everything, leaving nothing behind but never ending black.
And what can one do, but watch as it slowly eats you alive? From the inside out, from the outside in
Madness is corruption. Madness is disease. And like sin, it will only grow and expand.
Can you just let it be?
Purity. Gentle and warm, rich and sweet, it shatters the darkness and sets us free. Our saving grace, here to free us from the never ending tides, to pulls us back before we drift away. It's all we have left to cling too, and all we have left to save us from the fates we deserve. The fates that have been hand

I opened my eyes to some jazz music coming from downstairs and knew Cake was making some breakfast. I got up and shook my head. Hopefully it was something simple, and not a tower of burnt pancakes and bad syrup. As I followed the music, still in my pajamas, I smelled something....wait what? I thought I smelled pie, but Cake could never make pie that smelled so nice...maybe Treetrunks came over? He almost never does that, but Cake might have done it to help my throat, even though it feels good as new. I peeked around the wall that separated the living room from the kitchen and immediately retreated. Why the fudge was Marshall Lee sitting at my kitchen table with apple pie?! And why was Cake sitting with him? Sure she was sitting unnecessarily far from him and she looked a bit terrified, but she was still sitting with him. I tried to run quietly back to my room to change and heard Marshall laugh followed by a sipping noise. I stepped into my room and closed the door silently.

Any normal couple would gladly go out on a dinner and a movie date, or even a picnic.
Fionna and the Flame Prince were anything but normal.
For their date today, the fire trolls returned and their numbers have doubled with every intention to take over the grasslands. But the moment they caught sight of green hills, they instead found themselves fighting for their own lives.
"There is an opening under their belly button Fi!" he called out, while standing his ground with both hands held out in front of him, absorbing the fire blasts being shot out from the troll's mouth.
"Stay there and cover me!"
The moment the troll was out of breath and the hot flames sucked into the Prince's palms, Fionna jumped on his shoulder and lunged forward, sprinting straight forward at the monster clearly three times her size with her fiery blade gripped tight.
Just as he said, a small opening in the armor, possibly no more than a couple of inches exposed the troll's belly. W

forever casted in this lake of darkness.
No place of shining light
to guide me through the trecherous maze

In this life,
I stand all alone,
only imagining to have a light.
I'll watch the devistation I have wrought;
watch all of the people suffter
in agony just like mine,
I would take their pain.
The sun forgot to take it's reign
and the moon weeps,
starts its twinkling tears.
Perhaps I wasn't meant to
simply be here at all.

I must only be no more than a burden.
This realm of eternal night
takes hold of this twisted, tainted

Please forgive me~
For what I have done

"Come on, we have to hurry!" Maka shouts, leading a crowd of DWMA students towards the center of Death City.
The evening sky had changed from a calming dark blue, to a fog of dark red smoke. Madness waves seemed to be everywhere.
Death the Kid was well behind the crowd and making his way to the center of the city to check things out. He had to find out why everyone stopped listening to his highly important, (well.. it was important to him at least..) speech.

"I can't believe this..." He covers his face with his hands. "What the hell happened to me back there?..." He looks up, staring at himself in the mirror.
